This telemarketer is likely a Scammer that tries to sell you an extended car warranty. The caller ID shows the number as 732-807-5611 and the name as "HERTAG SVC", or "DEALER SERVICES" or "LIBERTYAP", depending on when they call. I finally decided to answer the phone and used the "...OK, let me grab a pen and go check the mileage for you.." routine and put them on hold (my phone has a hold button). Then, we laughed and laughed while we saw the red "hold" light on our phone stay lit for over two minutes while the guy waited for me to "return". Still LMAO as I write this!

They used high pressure tactics to sell me extended warranty on my car. They were very very pushy and would not offer an explanation of why it had to be purchased at that moment. When I finally told them I was not going to commit to paying them $2887 today, he told me I made a bad decision, said "good luck" and hung up on me!!! Very rude, I should have never answered. I really thought they were calling from Ford as they said.

I got a call today from them and they were very rude. asking me that I needed to get it today because my VIN number was red flag. After I was transferred to a manager because I said that I had purchased an extended warranty. They said that had nothing to do with it. Then the manager came and said the same thing trying to push me to purchase that when I said that I needed to verify this was not a SCAM he said that it was not that nobody would be able to have my VIN number that they were legit. I said Oh, really, so how all this other stuff gets out. Anyways, I told him why if you are trying to get my business you are yelling at me?, he said I am not yelling. I am worried that you are not covered and stranded. I said don't worry about it. that is my business. He continue to tell me that he will lower my payment and to force me. I said you are not going to tell me what to do. Finally after a long argument and rudeness from his part I got a call and he said no problem he will wait on the line and when I went back he had hanged up. I then research online and found this.

They called offering extended warranty for my 2007 Honda Odys. They wanted to know how if I owned the vehicle, and I said that I did, she said congratulations, but when I wanted to know the price she passed me to manager. He wanted to know why I did not buy extended warranty, I said to him I did by extended warranty, but he then wanted to know why I did not get a new one. Asked if I was keeping the van for more than a year. I asked for price, he quoted 3100.00 but hung up as I was saying I was not interested.

They called here AGAIN asking for my hubby, my typical response is I'm sorry he's not here at the moment, this is his wife, can I take a a message. If they're legit they leave a message, this one obviously was not and the guy hung up on me. So I called back, got hung up on again then called back and sat on hold while reading the comments here. when they finally answered the phone I just told them they called for someone who cannot be reached at this number and this time the guy said he'd delete the number form their system, so here's to hoping.

I received an unsolited call from "Dealer Services" today. Some joker from this company, just as rude as they could possibly be, hung up on me after I asked too many probing questions. I think it's funny. I mean, if this were a legit business, they would let me ask as many questions as I want, not go on the defensive, and not be so rude to people whose money they're trying to scam. I don't feel bad about reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission. In fact, I think I've done the rest of the world some good!

June 14, 2010 - Received call from 732-807-5611. Said he was not a solicitor but a Dealer Services company for Dodge that notifies people when their car warranty is about to expire. (That's how he explained getting around the do not call list law.) Said my 2007 Dodge Charger's warranty was expiring. When I said I didn't own that car, he said I might have co-signed for it (no way!). It sounded like someone could have used my info to purchase a car (he gave me the correct spelling of my name and provided current address) - creepy! He said he could not provide a VIN# as Dodge just had these guys "Dealer Services" do the calling without a lot of details given. When I expressed my concern that someone might have used my info to purchase a car, he suggested I call the DMV. The call-back number he provided for his workplace was 800-599-9557 which interestingly showed up looking like a legitimate dealer services business when I did a Google search on it - not likely! I called my local Dodge dealer and was told Chrysler DOES NOT have anyone (nor do they) call people regarding warranty expirations!!! Stay away from these guys - DO NOT give them credit card info or anything else!

A woman called me even though I had just gotten coverage from someone else and she said that the company I had bought a policy with had gone out of business. Then she said she wanted to check on something and hung up on me. I called back and talked to Lee. He was vague, rude and played dumb. He knew nothing. He said he would have someone call me back. Mark called me back and he was more rude. He was short, interupted me several times and kept saying he could get me into a bumper to bumper program. Since I just bought a policy I knew that my 2002 did not qualify for a Bumper to Bumper. I kept pressing him and he finally gave me www.dealerservices.info to look up the program he was talking about. It was called select and it was a full car just like I had purchased. When I called him on it amd said it was NOT bumper to bumper like he kept insisting, he said "sorry" and hung up on me. Nice company (sarcasm)!

Asked to be placed on do not call list multiple times.
Asked to speak to supervisor, he came on (if he in fact WAS a supervisor). I told him to make sure I am on their Do not call list as I (and he cut me off there and put the phone down). I did not even have a chance to tell him that I already requested this multiple times.

Called the number back, and pressed 4. Asked to speak to a supervisor, was on hold for almost 20 minutes. No one came on. Called back and pressed 6 and told the telemarketer to place me on the do not call list and that I have documented each call they placed to my home and if they call again, I will sue.

When I called them to tell them they are calling a cellphone and telemarketing which is against FCC Rules, wow did they start. To Jim Vandiver:

I received calls from National Auto Warranty & Dealer Services, which I *believe* is the company in Wentzville, MO. The number they called from, and which they answered when I called them back, is 1-800-724-9586. I asked to be removed from their list on 9/15, but on 9/19 they called me back. I then filed a complaint with the FCC and called them back to tell them so, at which time they hung up on me.

To fix this...
Step 1: File your number at the National Do Not Call Registry, here
https://www.donotcall.gov/

Step 2: File a complaint at the Federal Communications Commision, here
http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

Help yourself and help others.

Alot of people are confusing Dealer Services or National Auto Warranty Services in Wentzville, MO with other companies. They do NOT dial outbound to their customers. The best way to figure out who is calling you is to do something like this:

1. Answer the call and play along, act interested.

2. The first person you talk to is likely just screening calls, so agree to speak with a specialist or sales person

3. Go through the sales pitch and tell them you need to call them back with your credit card

4. Get the callback number and post it here, I'll check back over the next few days. I can check as to who the phone number belongs to and verify it with the utility company.

Got a call saying today was the last day to buy the extended warranty on my 2007 vehicle. I asked it they were with GM? She assured me GM bought ALL their warranty service through this company. Didn't pick up (10/31) but caller ID said Terrie Gill, 352-357-4151; the 732-807-5611 number from Unknown called us on 10/26 (as someone said below, it is one of this telemarketing company's numbers). I went ahead and registered on the Do Not Call.gov registry, but I did it via calling from our home phone. I may also look into the suggestion of Sean, below, to purchase a device from Digitone that filters such calls. I'm sure I've picked up the phone on calls almost every day, with a recording on the other end talking about extended vehicle warranties (and I've rec'd solicitations through the mail). Now I know who they are and what to watch for.
