Also got computer voice with same info as previous posts. This scam came in on my cell phone. Time to start holding cell service companies to task. Also been getting alot of spam texts on cell phone, as convient as it is, maybe time to take a few steps back to normal and go off the grid. Sure would be more relaxing.

I also received this message and a busy signal when returning the call. I also found this phone number connected to many addresses in many states. Also the Millenium connection. I have never heard of them and have not had a credit card in 12 years.

Told I am owed $49 by computerized voice and this is the only notice I would receive. I would think that by law if this is true, they would mail something to me, like perhaps a check! This must be fraud.

I received a call on my cell last night telling me I needed to call 732-729-4395 that I was due a refund of $49.95 for a service I do not recall ever having any dealings. Message stated that this would be my only call and the hours of operation was M-F 8:30a to 5 p then repeated the #. The message never stated the name of the company, so I thought I had better check it out before calling it back. I am sure glad I did.

Was told I had a refund of $49.00 coming and that I should call 732-729-4395 to receive a refund and that I had only one notification coming. After reading the comments I will not respond.

The caller ID read, "Bank Call Center". I picked up, and a female recording said I should call 732-729-4395 to receive a credit of $49.95 from a credit card membership fee from a credit card I used to have, and this would be my only notice. The telephone # was stated only once, and business hours were given for me to return the call. I have NEVER owned a credit card for which I paid a fee, and we watch our credit cards like hawks. For the heck of it I left the phone off the hook instead of hanging up. The line stayed open for almost 10 minutes before I placed the phone back on the receiver. In that time I should have heard a recorded message from the telephone company to hang up. I'm not sure what that means about the origin or technology of the call. I knew to check out this site as a clearinghouse from other possible recipients. Glad I did. Thanks for the info! BTW, this might fall witnin the realm of the Federal Trade Commission. I've already reported to them another scam (FS Lending). The response I received was that they need to hear a number of reports before launching an investigation. The number of fishy calls we've gotten has stepped up.

anyone wanting information regarding monies owed to you or monies you owe can simply do a credit report or a number of other services online for free. when encountering somethign like this i suggest you take those tools and put them to work, anjd if you see somethign fishy on your actual credit reports (only trust the 3 major ones) immediately seek out information further on it and contact authorities.

I got this call today and i answered. An automated message said they owed me a refund of $1400 and to get it I needed to call them back. I tried and was on hold for a long time with many periods of silence. I finally got a guy who said he was from millenium bank. He asked my name and then looked something up and told me that it was a mistake i got the call. But advised me to pay close attention to my credit card statements. He said goodbye and then i could hear him laughing in the back ground. SCARES ME!!!

This number showed up on my caller Id as a New Jersey call. Upon answering a recording came on saying they owed me $49, and return the call at (732) 729-4395. I called and no one answered. Sounds fishy to me, we own no credit cards...
