The company is Premiere Global Services (They ate Expedite, years ago.) Call 732-389-3900
, between 8:30am and 4:30pm EST, and navigate your way to the Receptionist, and ask for Tech Support. (Do not waste your time with Option #2.) If you have to, be clever and pretend your a dissatisfied customer. (Any big Wall Street firm will do.)
Once you get an underpaid Tech Support drone, complain, and they can, and should, within minutes, block your phone number.
Premiere Global Services makes some of its money from sending FAX's for other companies. They are sent lists of hundreds of thousands of phone numbers, and the computers send them out. The computers check each number against the Government "Do Not Call" list, but the Feds don't update that very often.
To get any results at all, you MUST speak to a Tech Support person.
Of course, if your number shows up on another list, and the Feds don't have it in their database, you'll get more calls. They can't globally block numbers. You'll have to call Tech Support again. It sucks, but that's life.
And yes, I work there.
Worse comes to worse, call ext. 5510, after 6:30pm EST, but before 11:00pm, and ask for Wayne, and tell whoever answers, that you were told to speak to Keith (Night Tech Support Manager, who is not an idiot.), and you need you a number blocked immediately. That should get you to someone who can block your number. (Until some other company submits it.)
Have a nice day.
