I receive a call at least once daily and when I answer there is no reply but my cell phone immediately starts ringing from the same caller. I've tried calling the number back and get a message to leave a number and they will call back. I don't think I have to worry about the call back thing. I'm on the national and state do not call list but that is no deterrent for these pest.
The only started after I went into was DeMontrond and all I gave them was my home phone. I refused to give out my cell phone number. One more bad experience with this dealership.
I too had a very negative experience at Classic Ford in Columbia. Totally dishonest. Don't know how they stay in business. Hope they go under soon. I know they gave my number out, but the surveyor hung up. Too bad!
They called to make sure that I was taken care of during my visit. It was not a marketing call...it was a survey call that the owner of the dealership wanted to make sure everyone was taken care of. It only took a minute or so to do. I did have an issue with the way the sales staff treated my wife. I received a call from the dealer the next day and they made it right, apologized and we got the car we wanted. I am glad they called.
Got information on this phone number from this website. Recently had personal information divulged to unwanted parties during custody case. Second automobile company I have received a phone call from in the past three hours. 1)Both companies are in cities within my state but nowhere close to where I live, 2) I DONT OWN A CAR, and 3) I have not been shopping for a car.

went to see a Honda on Sun, here it is Monday get a call on my cell. I did not answer since it was an unfamiliar number and I was driving (ring tone lets me know). No message and no, I did not say they could call me.
I know this came from unauthorized customer follow-up via my cell phone from Rockwall Ford, Rockwall, TX. I am not happy being called on my private phone without authorization and will no longer do business with Rockwall Ford and have let them know as much.
They are probably calling to do a survey on your experience at a dealership. Your opinion is taken seriously by the dealerships who hire survey companies. If you had a bad experience, take a few minutes to do the survey and you can help the next customer have a much better experience.
I bought a Nissan car from June. I got calling for this number 2 or 3 times a day from customer service of Nissan. I already ask them to drop my number from their phone list but they still keep calling me. The sell-man was really good but customer service of Nissan is bad. I am not happy with the way they calling me like this.
I will contact with BBB if they keep calling me 2 or 3 times a day.

I left my cell number with Classic Ford in Columbia, SC when I shopped for a car the last two evenings. It's the ONLY place I left my number because I thought I was buying a vehicle from them. Just 60 minutes later, this number is on my caller ID, no message was left. Oh, and I WANT to get surveyed on my experience. It was about the worst experience I have had buying anything. Fortunately, I could just walk out - and did. Very misleading folks there at Classic Ford. Now I have to deal with cell phone SPAM calls? Ugh.
. talked to a supervisor named Kenneth. he found out which car dealer had given out my cell phone number, and from what day the visit had been made. salesman had apparently looked up number from paperwork on truck bought new in 2007, because gave this salesman land line number. Kenneth agreed to remove my cell phone number from their data base. then told him i would take their survey since i was already on the line and had nothing better to do. he connected me with one of the survey people, and i really dumped on the dealer and the salesman for looking up my cell number.
incidentally, Kenneth said his people are to leave messages if they think they reached a land line, but no message if they are sure they got a cell phone, so as not to burn up peoples minutes. that seems pretty considerate to me.
the number belongs to Consumer Auto Reports. we have been car shopping; i assume the calls are related to that. They call everyday, multiple times.

I work for Fowler Ddge in OKC This number is (car research)what we call the CRM it is a company that maintains our database. Many dealership use it. Part of their job is to call our customers randomly to make sure they had a good visit with us either through service or sales. It is a follow up call to ensure that the dealership you visited did their job correctly and properly. I only know this number because they called me recently after I purchesed my vehicle from here. Just goes to show they do not discriminate they call the employees as well. I do appolagize for the inconvenience that this may caise to anyone out there that has visited a car lot lately!

Got a call from this number after a tough negotiation with Courtesy Nissan in Richardson, TX.
I was very busy and asked for a call back number before supplying it they continued to explain to me how they weren't with the dealership but was with "Consumer Reports" and I said, "that's fine but I can't talk right now" (was on a conference call at work) and she apologized and hung up without giving me a number...

Called 4 times today, several times yesterday. When I answered there was no response. I have entered a complaint with the Oklahoma Attorney General for violation of the DO NOT CALL law.
this is a marketing group that works for car dealerships. I called a local dealer and asked about truck prices 8 months ago for my dad. Gave the dealer my cell number to call me back with a final quote...wasn't interested. Now for 8 months i get one call a week with a pre-recorded sales pitch from the dealer. This is sent by an automatic dialer (telemarketing phone system). If the "answering machine detection" isn't set properly it won't leave a message. It also won't always respond to a voice properly depending on the way you answer. Lastly, if they're making more outbound calls than their agents can answer, there will not be an agent available when they reach you and you'll hear silence. I sadly admit I know this because I have managed these systems in call centers. Report the calls to the FTC if you're in the national do not call registry. I will NEVER do business with David Stanley Dodge in Oklahoma due to them sending my number to this group and telemarketing me. I have called and screamed at the dealer about this to no avail.

Called my cell phone first. Caller ID showed ph # that I didn't recognize. So I didn't answer. Then they called my home immediately after so I could see the "Consumer Rappor" name. Left no message on answering machine.
And yes, I did visit a car dealership recently. So maybe it's car dealership marketing like some of the other posters here say.
They call me 3-4 times per day. The little gal speaks only ebonics. Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge sicked her on me. I wonder why Chrysler had to shut down their factories for a month. This is the only industry that can perpetually crap on their customers and survive. I hate dealerships and this only supports my belief in buying used from individuals.

Thanks Pie Man - should have researched this site a week earlier. Too busy looking the phone number up in verizon's website and got nothing and liked it! First, my husband and I haven't walked into a dealership in the last 5 or 6 years. I can only assume that where we service our vehicle gave out our number and let me tell you I get calls anywhere from 11:30 PM to 3:30 AM. Called them once when it first started and they swore they did not have our number or name on their database - HA! They're calls have been coming into my house everyday for the LAST TWO WEEKS!!!! The sad part, there isn't anything any of the agencies I called can do! So I will continue to make calls to the nuisance bureau, state attorney general's office, do not call registry and the Federal Trade Commission!!!! It's going to get to a point where I'm going to have to take my phone off the hook - it's gotten so bad! If anyone out there has information where I can call and continue my Complaining Campaign - drop a line at this site. I will check back at this site again! Thanks!

called my cell phone at noon today, no message. called my home phone just now, no message, then called my cell phone almost immediately, no message. We did go car shopping yesterday but did not give any phone numbers, must have looked me up using my drivers license. I will not give that out again.
purchased a new Nissan and got a call to see how the service was.

I went to Sterling McCall Nissan on Saturday and got a call from this number today. I find it odd that I specificalyl told the guy I was taking to not to give out my number, and he said "I am not going to bother you at all with this." I guess I failed here, because technicaly, he isn't calling me, somenoe else is. I also guess Sterling McCall will not be getting my business as I had planned to go back this week and finalize a purchase.
quick side note (an add-on to my previous message). what's so bad about a company trying to take a quick survey to find out if their staff treated you well on your last visit to their dealership. they're only trying to make your experience and their business better. remember, it's a competitive world out there.

they wanted to do a quick survey regarding my recent maintenance visit to a local toyota dealership. it's harmless (and only took less than a minute). they called my house #, but could have easily called my cell if the dealership had that on file instead.

Went to a Ford dealership last night, got a call today.
They called my home several times a day. Now they are calling my office several times a day. They hang up every time after I picked up the phone. One time when I picked up the phone, the girl on the other end was talking to her co-worker "we could get fired...". They hang up after noticing I have picked up the phone. I suspect that there is some kind of fraud going in this operation. They get paid for the number of calls they made. Area code 713 is in Houston, Texas. Somebdoy shoud refer the operation to Texas Attorney General's office to see if they can do something.

I have had very similar experiences with multiple calls from this phone number as those listed on this site. I will say, I recently visited a Toyota Dealership as well. I did not have car repairs done as I was looking for a new car.
from reading these reviews the only common thread is me visiting a toyota dealership.

This number calls several times a day, so I finally googled it and found this site. I used the number someone else provided to call them back. They were calling because I recently had my car repaired at a dealership's body shop. They had a three question survey to ask and I was off in phone in about 2 minutes. (FYI - they asked if I was satisfied with the estimator, if I was satisfied with the shop in general, and if I'd recommend the shop to others who need the same or similar service).
This number calls me constantly. I *67 and called them back. Consumer Automotive Reports? I have no idea what this is.

I received a very strane voice mail message that really scared me from these people. I could barely understand it and it sounded like a threat, as the person was whispering and talking very quickly...

this # kept dialing me over and over every night so I posted their # on an automated call return site that should keep them flooded for some time....lets see how they like it.
They called on behalf of Spring Chrysler Dodge (I-45 north of Houston). After the 5th time in one day I got to the phone. It was about my 18,000 mile check up. I had warranty work done a few months back and they have me on file. Spring Chrysler Dodge has been impossible to deal with and now they hired a company to call me five times a day. I will no longer do any business with them. I hope all of you do the same. P.S. I currently have a transmission leak that is under warranty but they don't have the time. They would not even check my fluid level because they did not have time. It takes a special tool on my car to check it and I can't do it myself.

713-275-3575 is Consumer Rappor and is a survey company for service related businesses ie: car dealerships, stores you leave a # at etc.
We keep getting calls from this company (we bought a new car recently). We are on the DO NOT CALL registry so I've filed a complaint with them and also complained to AT&T. Probably won't do any good but I figure if enough people complain about them it may have some effect.
