Calls multiple times looking for Charles Hanson says this is Carrie Wilson MCOA about a business matter in her office and to call 877-751-7115. I have had my phone number for 20-25 years and my name is not Charles Hanson.

I don't believe this is a scam. I got a traffic light ticket that has not been paid and it's the collections looking for their money.

I just got a call from this number asking for my son who hasn't lived here for years. Also - said it was a personal business matter. Thought it sounded suspicious so I check on here. Will delete THAT message!!!

I too got a call from this number. Thanks to this thread, I did not call back.

Called me supposedly regarding a violation at one of those photo-enforced traffic lights. Wanted me to call a toll-free number. Didn't call. I'm blind, and haven't driven or registered a car in over seven years...

See my listing for 708-455-4046. It is a scam and they are using tricks to get you to call back which then exempts them from the Do Not Call Registry.

A message was left on my answer device. Caller identified himself as Fred Thomas with MCOA and was trying to contact (my son) requesting that my son call him concerning an "important business matter in my office." My son has never lived at this residence but lived in Illinois several years ago (where this call apparently originated). This is apparently a scam.

READ THIS: I suspect this scam organization got my number from an internet background website that listed my son as an association with me. This little ploy adds an air of mystery that the scammers hope will generate enough interest to get a call back. Once you call them, you have established a business relationship that exempts them from the restrictions of the DNC Registry.
