Happy this organization is protecting the rights of all workers. the right to choose seems appropriate in this case. If union heads would be honest and up front with the union members would understand a good days pay equals a good days work, expect all to do their jobs!! Oh yea, that means the Union reps also.

The National Right to Work Committee is a legitimate organization working for their objectives. It is the target of union hacks who want to thwart the objectives of the NRTWC and are using modified ID's to do so. So most of you are wise not to answer. If you want to support this brave organization you can do so by going to their website but be careful you will find that most of the google responses are really sites which denegrate the NRTW's objectives. It just shows how desperate the union is to shut them down. I beleive 90% of these calls are from union organizations, especially the ones who don't talk.

Not sure if these are from the same caller, but all they get is a fax machine. Have not a clue who, or what the caller wants, but they leave no fax.

My husband received a call from this number this morning. He was unable to understand amything that this person said. I have since googled the number and would have been interested to listen to the messsage. However, not being able to understand the person that was calling certainly should be adressed by your committe. He told the caller to put us on a do-not-call list. Just a FYI for you. To you union goons out thier I would like to say thank you for the mess we are now in. Unions are a thing of the past as far has workers rights go. You need to stay out of the pay issue due to the loss of jobs that have went over seas. Your buddy Obama if not checked soon will cause more job loss and our future as the worlds leading economy. I help form several unions during my time but kept them out of many issues that I knew would cost jobs. I also believe in the Right to Work Laws that are in many states. They Union is like any other business and is out to make money just the same. I support the National Right To Work , as should all who want to work without being forced to join the mob unions.

Dee is wrong. NRTW Facilities is a telemarketing money-grubbing operation run by the right wing anti-union group the National Right to Work Committee: http://www.nrtwc.org/tag/jim-demint/

National Right to Work Committee, 8001 Braddock Road, Suite 500, Springfield, VA 22160

They are incredibly annoying and persistent.

It's a telemarketer working for ultra-conservative SC Republican Sen Jim DeMint. They read an anti-union spiel then ask you for money. They've called me 8 times according to my caller ID. Each time I would block that number so they would then call me from another line. Politicians of all stripes should learn that high pressure telemarketing tactics don't win anyone over to their side.

I picked up the phone to find out who they were. I had nothing better to do at the time So I decided to play a little. There was a slight delay before someone spoke. They asked for my father. I told them that I wish they could talk to him but he has been dead for over 30 years (blunt but true). The gentleman apologized and then hung up before I could ask any important questions like "which is further New York or by bus". Oh well, guess I will wait for their next call. Does make me wonder where they dug up this ancient calling list however.

Do not get mad, get even. Here is their toll free number: 800-336-3600). Every time you call them it costs you money. Call and ask to speak to a lawyer. Tell them you have a union problem. Then tell them you keep get unsolicited calls from them and even though they are exempt from the Do Not Call List law, you can spread the word and ask people to call their toll free line and cost them time and resources. If enough people do that, they will lose a bunch of money and maybe rethink making their harassing unsolicited calls.

Pass this message on and on.

They called this morning at 11:39 am. Asked for my husband who is at work. Asked if I could take a message. They said "No, we'll call back at a later time". Looked up NRTW Facilities and found an article from April 26, 2004 which said:

"Each of NRTW's owned and operated telemarketing facilities can dial up to 9,000 phone calls per hour and is manned by up to 60 live operators,"

I imagine they can call even more by now. I'm all for National Right To Work, but I just don't like getting politics related phone calls.

I just received a call from this number. They were asking for my help in contacting my so-called congressional representatives regarding an upcoming bill. I was very appreciative to have received this call; they also supplied the senators office numbers.

You would think after 50+ times of answering machine pick ups they would get the message.

1x / day. Every day. For a year. When I answered it was from a company doing a survey, which started with a 1 minute speech from a Congressman from New York (huh?) supporting socialized medical insurance. All the questions were leading questions supporting socialized medicine. When they finally came back with a person, they were asking for money to pay for ads supporting... you guessed it, socialized medical insurance. When I started to say I did not want the gov't to screw up medical insurance again, they slammed the phone in my face.

They call 2 or 3 times a day, never a leave message, nobody there I we do answer NEW IDEA: Get a law passed that the telemarketing companies and phone fundraisers/extortionists have to pay our phone bills. It could be done through the IRS, so the government would take a cut, so that would make the fees for running a teleharassment company so steep they'd stop, and we'd have our phones back. Both Democans and Republicrats should go for this.

I am on a no call list. This number has called me repeatedly and I want it stopped. I think it is on automatic dial because it comes at different times and no one replies when I answer. I usually do not answer but when I do I do not get any communication from the other end. I would like to see all these types of calls stopped. This is harassment! This is an invasion into my home from early morning to late at night I get calls from unknown numbers. Would they be allowed to knock at my door? No! So they should not be allowed to ring my phone.

I did a reverse phone number search in the white pages on that 7037702249 number. It is an unlisted number. I also checked it against the Real NRTW.com site. Guess what? The numbers do not match. I'd say this is a scam to get your money or a union scam to get your money to help them when you think you are helping the Real NRTW or it is some union people trying to spread false rumors about the NRTW or trying to make you mad (by being rude) so that your feelings against this org will be bad - and maybe you'll feel better about the unions.

They have called me over and over again. I let my answering machine get the call. I think I'll answer it next time. I am on the do not call registry,...I hate annoying invasions of privacy! A quick note about do not call registry,..In order to be fair to the companies that annoy the living @#$% out of americans you must renew your registration yearly! I hope this helps someone because most of us don't realize that. These space invaders are also after your cell numbers!!! I think in order to call you at home they should provide their home number (Sienfeld episode) so you can return the favor and try to sell them something, promote a pet idea, or just call to say hi after a few late night cocktails on a friday night! I'll try to call during dinner time at least 4 times a week and if possible figure out when his/her lover is in the zone and ruin the moment! If they don't answer I'll keep calling. I think this would get the point across,...if not a kodak moment sent via usps from an undisclosed/anonymous mailer should do the trick. Yes,..I truly hate solicited calls for any reason and to turn the tables would truly be sweet!

These people call weekly if not daily. I love that whatever they're promoting they're doing it with call centers in Mumbai because I've yet to have an native English speaker call me & they never pronounce any of the names correctly.

Now that I know who & what they are, I plan to screw with them. Because as a receptionist I get 20-30 crap calls like this a day. From toner bandits to every free magazine subscription known to man, I get 'em all & it's tres annoying. There are days that if I didn't get crap calls I'd get zero calls.

Now, should I play "How long can we keep the telemarketer on hold?" or "Should I pretend I can't hear them or speak English?"

This organization is rude and very tenacious, everyone has the right to work, yes, but what is their purpose here? The issue is not the right to work, its more that there is no work and I dont care what ANYONE says its due to our jobs going out of the country, and its not the unions fault. We have (had) a better way of life in the U.S. and the GREEDY corporations couldnt get enough $$$$ so they gotta hire in some cases child and slave labor to get their products built for less money. They were making good money already but you have to understand these kind of companies HAVE to show increases in profit or they get replaced so they become cutthroat and do ANYTHING to make sure that happens. Lay a million people off and wonder why people arent spending money??? go figure. So yes Im in favor of the right to work as long as its fair. pretty soon we will all be 4 families in one home and then it will be fair again, the unions are the only thing that was keeping us in our own homes this long, even if your not in the union you were still reaping the benefits of better pay because of it wether you know it or not, yes some union members abused the power, but 95% of them got FAIR pay for an honest days work and thats what made America the best place in the world to live! Our government has sold us down the river and soon it will be like a third world country, no middle class, the rich and the poor separated by a tall fence, the people that faught and died for this country are rolling in their graves from George Washington to Martin Luther King.

This call is coming from the Virginia-based extremist right-wing group known as the National "Right-To-Work" Committee. It is more accurate to call them the "Employers Freedom To Fire American Citizens" organization. The National Right to Work Committee was formed by a group of southern businessmen with the express purpose of destroying existing unions and preventing employees of any company or industry from forming new unions. The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation has received millions of dollars in grants from foundations controlled by major U.S. industrialists like the New York based John M. Olin Foundation, Inc. and other right wing groups. Because unions are weakened by the "Right-To-Work" laws enacted by heavily bribed members of Congress, wages have been lowered and employee's safety and health have been significantly endangered. Statistics from the United States Department of Labor show, for example, that in 2003 the rate of workplace fatalities per 100,000 workers was highest in right-to-work states. Nineteen of the top 25 states for worker fatality rates were right-to-work states, while 3 of the bottom 25 states were right-to-work states. This group is deeply involved in bringing illegal immigrants into the United States in order to provide complicit business owners with a low-paid labor force that they then use to replace the higher-paid workers that are American citizens.

I answered thinking it the call was related to some gym facilities. The lady mispronounced my name. I told her if she could pronounce it correctly then I'd talk to her. She spelled it out then pronounced it with a "how else would you pronounce it?" in a snotty tone. I said well if this is about money to which she interrupted with "did I say anything about money?" At this point, I hung up. Whatever she wanted, she was rude and this is no way to treat a potential client/customer or person from whom you want answers as in a survey. Fortunately, she didn't call back.
