Another scam call I presume. I didn't answer.

These calls are most likely originating from a company that purchased all 77,000 numbers owned by Pacific Telecomm and partnered with them. They make 10s of thousands of calls a day from these numbers because they realized that other phone companies must pay Pacific Telecomm a tiny fee for the caller ID info they transmit. Ie; they are making a lot of money simply by making the calls, and don't care at all if you buy into the scam or whatever crap product they're offering when they call. That's why they won't maintain a do not call list and won't follow the national one, and why they don't care if you ask them not to call again.
They were under investigation a year or so ago by the Feds and about 15 state attorney generals. The problem they were encountering was that any individual one of the numbers being called from only gets a few complaints because they have the pool of 77,000 outbound numbers to call from. Its very important you file complaints with the FCC and your state attorney general if you ever want these calls to stop.

I received a call from this number again today after many previous ones.I have pressed the button they say will stop calls but it made no difference. I have been on the Do Not Call list since it began and before that, I was on the one from private businesses. How do they manage to keep doing it? My next steps will be to block the number on my phone and to file a complaint with FTC. Incidentally, back when I actually listened to the recorded message, it had nothing to do with my credit card or any other banking service I use.
This is an obvious scam to get credit-card information.

Well this was a new one. Still the same old message about reducing my credit card rate but it wasn't Rachel, Heather, or any of the other people who call us from time to time. It was a female voice I hadn't heard before. Of course they offered to stop calling if I press 3 but we all know that doesn't work. Pressing any button seems to take you to one of their live(?) operators. Well, I'm off to the FTC site again. This was the second call I've received today with the same type of message. The first one showed 616-980-2164
at 11:53 this morning. At least their caller ID display showed Bank Card Srvcs. This second message came in at 3:06 this afternoon but only showed Westborough MA. Didn't answer either call but my voice mail did. Got to retrain my voice mail to disconnect calls like that.
Called my DNC cell phone at 11:16 AM -pang three times -hung up -no message! The Do Not Call list is a JOKE!
They call at least once a day. The first time I answered - no response. Second time a recording saying they were card services calling about my current credit card and how to lower my rate. I hung up and now I just reject the calls. I wish I knew how to block them and a few others. I consistantly report these calls, but nothing seems to be being done about stopping them. My advice - if you don't know the number or the name, just don't answer!
These jerks call at all times. My wife has had knee surgery and has a mother who has Alzheimers. She has to run to the phone each time these morons call because it could be that her mom has fallen or something. This is beyond annoying and makes us want to yank the phone from the wall.

They call every 2-3 hours. I do not answer.
This is a continuation from a different CLEC for the lower your interest rate scam--one that has been going on for about three or four years. I will report them to the FTC to provide additional complaints for their file on this group. I recommend that others do the same. We need to insist on greater penalties for these scammers.
Cocksuckers tried calling me at work this time. They are consistent, at least.... consistently illegal in their scamming and robo calling!

I am Elderly and on Total Disability.These people are the lowest skumm I have ever come across. You first speak to a Mashelle Wilson (believe that name if you want to), sound like a very nice woman (Black I take it from her coments & voice) and she tells you how she can lower your credit card rate. She turns you over to a Mark Williams (what's a name??) who somehow has your credit card info ??? and explains he will see you get a rate of 6.9% on all your cards.
DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. NO ONE, I MEAN NO ONE CAN LOWER YOUR RATE BUT THE BANK THAT ISSUED THE CARD... DON"T BELIEVE THEIR S@#T.
They are con-artists out to rip you off. JUST HANG UP THE PHONE!!!! The number they used 616 980-2164 they say they are located in Orlando, Fla. Don't believe that either..I ask them questions about Orlando (I'm originaly from Lakeland) and they gave me all the wrong answers. None of their numbers are any good either. Someone should shoot them on sight !!! or better yet, turn them over to a crowd of the people they ripped off.

Automated call offering one last chance to lower credit card payments.
Well Rachel is still here with her second and final call. At least I can tell it's her now as the caller ID says Bank Card Srvs. They've got to be more sneaky to get people to pick up the phone. Hmmm, maybe they are trying to create some legitimacy for this scam. Regardless it's time for her to take another FTC induced vacation.

I swear I was in my home, didn't hear the phone ring at all. This number is on my caller ID. I am suspecting they are "texting." I'm on the DO NOT CALL list, I should not be getting this call at all.

Caller ID says UNKNOWN. I do not answer.
No message left. I've received similar calls before at different "V123 etc." numbers. Of course, I'm on both my state and national DNC lists.
Guess Rachel is back from her FTC induced vacation. Same old crap about this being the second and final call about lowering the interest rate on my credit card.
Yesterday,they called from TN Removal, now Cust Service. You tell them to remove yournameand they just hang up. Great enforcement of the Do Not Call directory.

gave someone a earful of my 121db siren... right in the old earhole after they answered the telephone with BANK CARD SERVICES.. I AM ON THE DNC list and if you or your company is going to VIOLATE it and USE VOIP to change your numbers and the FTC don't look like its gonna do no enforcing.. then I am going to use some good old fashioned OPERANT CONDITIONING - maybe you'll learn NOT TO CALL MY NUMBER..

I was contacted from the above number and given no other option but to press "1" to speak with a representative. I did so to request that calls stop since they were calling a business line and we would have absolutely no need for the services they were offering. The individual the call was connected with was rude and offensive, refused to allow me to speak with his supervisor and then hung up on me after that request.
I called the company directly and filed a complaint with the gentleman that answered which took my information and added me to their internal do not call list (my number is already on the FCC's National Do Not Call List.
