Same crap, different day. They also call from 616-613-2227, 616-613-2228,616-613-2100 and probably a wealth of other numbers. They keep changing them and repeatedly call from new numbers. I just can't block them all, but that is their plan anyway. Fraudster/scammer weasels, trying to obtain credit card info from idiots who seem to keep them in business. Bunch of wankers!

I just got a call which I will add to my block list. I will now get no ring but will get a list of blocked calls on my phone.
I have the Panasonic cordless telephone Model kx-tg6842b (2 handsets)
You can block 250 numbers plus kill the one ring that existed on earlier models that only allowed 30 blocked numbers.
The one handset model sells for $70 at Amazon.

I got sick of spam so bought a new cordless phone by Panasonic. It will block up to 20 phone numbers. My phone rings once to let me know a blocked caller is calling. The spammer gets a busy signal then my phone hangs up on them. It's a beautiful thing. :-)

Called on July 26, 2013 at 5:33pm ET. Called my home phone. Caller ID showed caller's name as "Bank Card Services". Did not recognize number as my local bank so I did not answer call. My phone number is registered with my State's Do Not Call Registry and the Federal Do Not Call Registry. These kinds of scammers could care less your number is listed as "Do Not Call". I'm amazed people answer calls from out-of-state callers they do not know and do not have any business dealings with. People should only answer call if they recognize the number as a friend of theirs or a company they are familiar with such as their employer or a company they buy services from, otherwise never answer the phone. Maybe we need to have NSA identify them since 100% of all calls are recorded it should be easy for them to do and then send a SWAT Team to to wherever they are located and take them to jail like they do when they bust into people's homes. Would love to see the look on their faces when they bust in through several doorways all-at-once in full body armor.

They call and leave a message stating financial help under a government program I added them to my call blocker list and they are history. Do yourself a favor and upgrade your home phone to the new 2013 Panasonic digital phone call blocking answering machine on amazon for $115 with 5 handsets. KX-TG6845B. This system blocks 250 calls. Scammers have robo-callers, and I have robo-caller-blocker. You can complain all you like but you just can't stop them, many are not even in this country. The phone companies could filter the majority of calls but they have no interest, they just want to sell service. Stop bitching, purchase a good call blocking system, and enjoy the silence.

what's amazing to me is that every time they call they say "this is my last chance" and yet they call again. i picked up and when i asked the woman to remove my number from their database, she hung up! when i called back, it rings busy.

Got a call from 616-613-2228, an "unknown caller" from Zeeland, MI at 4:33 pm on 07/29/2013. Luckily, I never pick up the phone if I don't know the number. They didn't leave a voicemail, but past experience with these a***oles is to NEVER pick up and NEVER press buttons or give them any information. It's all a scam, and if you pick up, they know the number is "live" and will continue to call it more often. As annoying as it is, your best bet is to not pick up if you don't know the number. Saves you a major headache.

This is the 2nd time I've received a call from this number. It's a robocall saying it was our "2nd and final call" for an offer to lower our card interest rates and only offered a 'press 1' to speak to an operator. They did not offer and opt-out choice. The call also said it was relate to "the US stimulus" which sure sounded fishy to me and made me believe this was not really related to our Chase credit cards.

Do yourself a favor. Google SIT Tone. This is the telephone company's tone you hear when the number is no longer in service. Download it for free and keep the file open when you start up your PC. Keep your phone by the PC and when these morons call open the file first and then answer the phone holding the receiver next to your speakers. Robo caller will delete your number as non active. Simple fix.

This number has come up many times before but this time I was home and answered. Again a message said that this was the last attempt to reach me regarding lowering my credit card rate and if I was interested to press 1. With no option to be removed from the call list, I pressed 1. When a man answered, I asked him what credit card company he was calling from and he replied with "Do you owe more than $4,000 on your credit card?" When I repeated my request he just repeated the same question but in a very intimidating tone. I once again asked what credit card company he represented and he just hung up. I will report this to the FCC as I am on the do not call registry. I will also block this phone number from coming through again.

This company calls numbers on the do not call registry without authorization or a pre-existing relationship (which is illegal). They then play a recorded message without an operator on the line (which is also illegal). The recorded message is clearly a scam claiming (falsely) that this is the second (not second) and final (not final) notice that you are eligible for a credit card rate reduction. When you get through to an operator, the operator refuses to provide a phone number (they are required by law to provide this when asked), and if you ask for a physical address (also required by law) they hang up on you. If their illegal pre-recorded message does not clearly indicate that this is a scam, their refusal to provide basic contact information definitely proves them to be a scam...

they have wasted their time...they have called for months on the landline and except for the first time when I unwittingly answered and then hung up on them, I just ignore it. Of course, they don't leave a message. This sleazeball outfit, "Bankcard Services" continues to change numbers. This scammer keeps calling, but I never answer because I do not know anyone in the 616 area code. This time I was out in the back yard washing my dog and ignored the ringing. This is a "Bank Card Svcs" number on the caller ID. They want my credit card information to verify my debt status and to lower my credit card interest rate. I kept her on the line for about 5 min to hear what she had to say. I then told her I have been called by "Bank Card Svcs" numerous times and requested to speak to a supervisor or manager to get my number off their robo dialing list. She refused to transfer me and abruptly hung up on me.

This is a scammer!

UNBELIEVABLE! I get calls from this company on a weekly basis...I have repeatedly asked to be taken off their list and have hit the option to be removed before a live person comes to the phone but I continue to receive calls. Today was the final straw...the a**hole that I ended up talking to made so many disgusting comments to me and about me including very explicit sexual references. And since my 3 year old in the background was calling me, starting making sexual references to her as well! I have filed a complaint with the FCC not that it will do any good.

This is the second call I've received in two days. The other call was from 616-613-2229. Both messages stated that it was my second an final call about my credit card debt and something about a stimulus. Same old stuff that I used to receive from Card Holder Services including the same voice of Rachel. The message was already running when my voice mail started recording so their dialer isn't even checking to see if anyone is on the line. Time for another report to the FTC.

As always criminals do not care if you are on the do not call list. There is a way to get rid of these people. NO ONE should answer their calls. The only reason this continues is there are STUPID people who fall for this. If it makes the scammer no money it is a waste of their time.
