If you are being solicited (telephone, generic emails, etc.) by an agency called Hope House it is an agency out of Georgia. The parent agency is Nspire and they are running a program called Hope House which is located in Georgia. Their website indicates that they will be opening a transitional living facility in the Davidson County area. Their website (www.hopehouseatl.org) also states they will be using the name Hope4DV. This agency is NOT associated with or affiliated with Hope House, Maury County Center Against Domestic Violence. We have been in touch with the most common agencies addressing domestic violence in the middle Tennessee area and have not found any that are working with this agency. We receive complaints about this other Hope House and their solicitation methods on a weekly, if not daily, basis. We have been in contact with Nspire's Director, Gregg Kennard, and were told they would ensure they explain who they are but due to the amount of complaints we continue to receive, we are not confident this has occurred. If you have a complaint regarding the Hope House out of Georgia, you can contact them directly at 1-800-775-9020
or firstname.lastname@example.org. If you feel their solicitations practices are deceptive or negatively impacts the public good you can file a complaint at the Georgia Governor's Office of Consumer Protection. You can find information about this process and download the complaint form at http://consumer.georgia.gov/consumer-services/filing-a-complaint. Please continue to notify us of your concerns so that we can keep a current file of the complaints. We hope that if we work together we can resolve this nuisance positively.
