They called my cell phone on 11/19/2008. I programed the number as AutoWar111908. I told them not to call my cell phone and to take me off their list.

They or someone else also called my cell phone on 03/06/2008 with the number 562-228-7160. And then on 07/25/2008 from 785-890-8855. Then on 11/14/2008 another call from 605-462-6063.

I haven't received any calls on my cell phone since.

I've recieved many calls on my home number though. I usually tell them I have a car that doesn't exist like a Chevy Mustang. The sad thing is I talked to a guy for over 10 minutes and he didn't even realize I was making up a car that didn't exist. When I sprung it on him that I pulled the wool over his eyes and waisted his time like he waisted mine, he hung up. I suggest that you make up something and waist their time. You'll get a laugh which is good for your health and they can't call 20 people while they are talking to you!

So, in the age of technology we're in, we can't track these callers down and then publically shoot them in the head? For shame. If you have a problem with me, call me at one of the following numbers: 215-230-9706 218-682-2744 251-947-8966 304-369-0968 309-286-2082 425-391-6476 425-869-6371 503-864-3213 505-327-2741 509-926-6276 517-931-2251 605-462-6063 773-665-4227 800-219-7425 802-525-4519 815-235-7297 817-444-5194 817-569-9576 843-281-8793 866-542-6911 978-409-5210

I have received a lot of calls from different numbers for this car warranty scam on my cell. There's been less to the home number, but still, they keep calling. Prerecorded, hang up. I did however, also receive some mail, but not sure if it's the same people as the calls, I have almost a 20 year old car, and never a new car. So ni need to get a new car warranty for any reason. Tis nothing but a scam.

1. Register your telephone numbers with www.donotcall.gov -- this is the Federal Do Not Call List.

2. After you receive confirmation that your number is on the list EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU GET CALLS LIKE THIS GO TO www.donotcall.gov AND FILE A COMPLAINT.

3. Maybe with enough complaints things will change

I have received over 30 calls now from people calling ME back not realizing I have a DIFFERENT area code but the same phone number. The phone company says they can't do anythying except change my phone number which I have had for over 30 years. I finally had to just take the phone off the hook and not use it. A lot of people are being affected by this scam. Please don't blame me. I am a private citizen and have nothing to do with this. I bet people with the same phone number in other area codes are having the same problem as I am.

(Im in Maryland) Got a call from this number at 10:40 PM!! I did not answer! came on here to see what i could learn. If it is about a supposed "warranty" ending, then its definitely a scam because they only vehicle I have is over a decade old so there is no warranty, and no legitimate company would offer a warranty on a vehicle that old either.

I led them to believe I was an elderly woman interested in the warranty. When I asked what the name of the company was, they said "Oh, this is the Warranty Department, we work with Ford." (after I told them I had a Ford). When I asked if they could give me a number to call them back on, they said they weren't allowed to accept calls. When I asked them what city I needed to send my payments to, they hung up on me. They wanted $2550 to extend my warranty for 6 years. I've noticed that alot of people around me are getting these phone ccalls on their cell phones. I've just reported this to the State Attorney General of Texas and I urge everyone to do the same in their own state. You grandmother could be their next target!

this is a scam. They phish for your information saying the warranty is about to expire on your vehicle, but you'll notice they have no info on you or your vehicle, nor do they belong to an actual company. They just say the warranty department, then they try to sell you a bogus policy and ask for your credit card info. If you ask too many questions they'll hang up.

Please do NOT blame the Stoddards of South Dakota, it is not them who are calling you. The scammers are using technology to fake the Caller ID. They are not a legitimate business. If you give them your credit card number or any personal information, your WILL be the victim of identity theft or credit card fraud. DO NOT answer phone calls from numbers you don't recognize. It will only cause you trouble.

FAKE TELEMARKETER This has nothing to do with the people in Norris, South Dakota (Danielle Stoddard) they are victims just like you. These people calling with this phony story are stealing your money indirectly through a scam known as phone rate arbitrage. They are using a number and calling your number to get paid phone termination charges. You folks do get to pay for this scam in higher rates on your phone bill. Here is the question I have for the scammers; if I know what you are doing how long before someone else knows what you are doing? Read here federal law enforcement. I just love the smell of conspiracy charges in the morning. As they say in the business you can run but you can not hide..... People do not answer not even voice mail. Take the number and forward to your local US Attorney's office. Look it up here: http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/offices/index.html
