601-400-9074 Credit Card Scam. Comes on as Card Services, claiming they can lower your interest rates. They will ask for your zip code, then you last 4 SS. Then the card number. I gave them bogus info and an old card just to waste their time. Then after about 10 minutes wasted I told them they are a fraud and hung up. Credit Card Fraud. Scan Artist. ID Theft.
DO NOT ANSWER YOUR PHONE IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO IT IS..This was a phone call from a telemarketer group that hustles your personal information out of you in order to make you think you need them..the tape recorded voice says; "Hi This is Vickie Of Account Services nothing is wrong "BUT"..then I put the phone down..These companies has uses a block of unused U.S. phone numbers to do their Roto dialing..AGAIN DO NOT PICK UP THE PHONE IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO IT IS..
USUAL PHISHING SCAM FOR YOUR CC NUMBERS. DOES ANYONE REALLY FALL FOR THIS? MUST BE, SINCE THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR YEARS EVEN IF SOMETIMES I ANSWER IN ORDER TO SCREAM OBSCENITIES AT THEM
Said nothing and hung up.
This call was a solicitation to lower my credit card interest rate. Upon pressing "1" to speak with a real person I listened to a scammer asking me questions such as "do you have a high interest rate on your Visa" . I replied "no" to all questions and they finally got to the important question: "do you have a Visa card". When I replied "no" they hung up on me. Hmmmmm...... these scammers are so RUDE!
I think it is sarah palin calling as I flew over her house
stupid card member services, calling to lower my interest rate..now they are calling my cell phone? I reported them to the DNC registry just as I do every time they call my home phone..so annoying!
My rule of thumb is this: If the phone is ringing, and I see a name and/or number I don't recognize, I don't pick up the call. If I realize what I'm looking at in time, and the phone is still ringing, I hit the button on my phone that has the word "cancel" printed right above it. The call ceases immediately. Does "cancel" also work as a call blocker? I wonder.

THIS IS A SCAM! There's a recorded message saying something about lowering the interest on your credit card & press 1 to speak with a representative. I pressed 1 just to yell at these jerks but when I got connected, I could hear other people in the background but my representative didn't talk to me at all. When I tried to call back, another recording said my call couldn't be transferred & to call again later. THESE PEOPLE TAKE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER & RUIN YOUR LIFE! DON'T TRUST THEM!

Showed up as on my phone as a missed call from this number at 5:30 pm yesterday.
Just got a call, no message, I called them back and got a recording "the # I dialed is incorrect" WHen is this crap going to be stopped!
Showed up 'unknown' on the cell.
Just got a call at 5:35 pm, no message left. This is a new phone I just bought which is unusual to get calls at because only close people have my number so I guess just another scam.
Number called while I was at work at about 3:16pm, I did not answer & there was no voicemail left. I'm in IL & do not know anyone from MS..

Showed up as a missed call on my cell phone. No message was left.
Seriously this number does not give up! They called four times in a row. I ignored the call and they called right back each time. LOL - my recent calls shows this number 4 times in a row all calls just seconds apart. If after the second time I hang up on you get a clue I am NOT going to answer your call!
got a call 1:45p on today July 29 2013 on a cell phone I rarely if ever use in SW FL market/SRQ
this number that they called on is not listed or cross-referenced to anything close to my real name so I didn't answer of course - no message was left (of course) no worries for me because anyone who is important already know the real number to dial me on - that's why I believe in having multiple numbers and cell phones in addition to the land line (the land line is totally unlisted, ah..unlisted even in a different name than my own so again, no worries) scammers are omnipresent and the people that have a legitimate need to contact me ALWAYS know how and they always leave a message ! don't ever feel obligated to answer a phone ! don't EVER call them back ! EVER

I did not answer call from this number a few minutes ago but have consistently gotten calls from only one company both on my cell and home number. It is a scam to lower your credit card interest. I investigated thoroughly found the company. This company uses hundreds maybe 1000's of numbers (lines) to continually make these calls until someone answers. I actually called the police in the city they were listed as located as I felt it was nearing harassment and was using minutes on my cell phone. Police said they would do nothing. (actually started out by saying "what do you expect me to do about it" I entered them in any place I could find to lodge complaints. I contacted the tv station "9 wants to know" program and they said their research found that it is a federal issue and they were informed that these calls were not considered intrusive or pervasive enough to pursue. Bottom line...... nobody cares to do anything about it. As you never know what number they will call on you cannot even block the calls.
I answered a call from this number a few minutes ago. Prerecorded message saying "This is your credit card company. There is no problem with your credit card." Something about this is the last chance to lower your interest rate and to hit a button to speak with them if I wanted a lower rate. Clearly a scam. We're a special account at our credit card company and we've never paid interest.
I'm a log truck driver and I was driving when called. I did not answer. There was no message left. My thought was frequency TROLL.....
(Saturday Morning) I was at work when they called. No voicemail message.
credit card scam....do not answer or give them anything...report people like this coz they are RUDE today!
I didn't recognize the phone number so I didn't pick up. No message was left but I reported the phone number anyway.
I didn't answer either and they didn't leave a message, but I reported them to Sprint as spam based on some of the comments here about them.
Did not answer because I was @ work. No message left.

Got the call today a couple minutes ago. No voicemail after I didn't answer.
I would never do business with a company that makes cold calls
yep. they called me this morning. I didn't recognize the number and let it go to voicemail. they of course didn't leave a message. Good to know that I was wise not to pick up.
Blatant scam to steal credit card information. Report to state authorities.
Someone asked me if I wanted to lower my credit card interest rate. When i nicely asked to be removed from thier call list, He became verbally abusing calling me all kind of names and insulting my mother. When I asked to speak to his supervisor he told me i was too stupid to speak to him.
This phone number appeared on my cell phone today. If I don't reconize the phone number, I don't answer my phone and let my voice mail handle it. Unfortunately, they didn't leave a message. These types of calls only indicate 1 thing to me, that they are either telemarketers, solicitors or worse, scammers. I have better things to do than waste my time with "JERKS" likes these.
was of course hung up on the moment I asked for the company name. on call-back, it was a non-working number.
This is not the first call I have received from this number: I'm on a do not call list.. pressed one to speak to a representative to restate "do not call" and was hung up on. I tried to phone the number and it disconnects after it rings.
SO SICK of these calls. How come the government can't step in and do something about this? The DO NOT CALL list is a joke and has been from day 1.
Got a call from this number on my cell phone which has been registered on the NDNCR for well over two years. They did not leave a message and I did not answer. I reported them for violation of the NDNCR. Which is exactly what everyone should do who has their phone number registered.
Yep, it's an "important message from card services" type of scam.
Call about "last chance" to reduce my credit card payments and lower my interest rate. Wanted me to verify my SSN. The stupidest part about this is that all of my credit cards (and their creditors) were dumped into a bankruptcy over a month ago. The creditor meeting was last week. Idiots everywhere these days.
Called my pay-as-you-go cellphone twice within 2 minutes. Left no message.
Pre-recorded "This is your credit card company. There's no problem..." rate-lowering scam.
Call from "credit card company" No actual company mentioned. Asked to press 1 to speak to a representative to lower my interest rate.
