Received a call yesterday at 3pm if I want to take advantage something with the golden moon and silver star casino
kar, like many others, whine and cry about Do Not Call not working when, the problem is they're too stupid to learn what DNC does and doesn't do.
Just received a phone call with the caller ID displaying SRG and young lady spoke very soft. I told her I was unable to hear her, but she didn't speak up. I eventually hung. Weird!
They keep on calling and i say not interested. My wife did do one survey and after they called again she said she did not want to do any more. I am fixing to crack down on them hard if they do not stop.
After several attempts to be listed on this No Call list to no avail, I purchased a Panasonic telephone set that offers a call blocking feature. It's awesome. When you receive one of these annoying calls, just save it to the block list and they can't get through to you. Your phone will ring once and the screen indicates "Call Blocked" No more annoying calls from SRG or anyone else that you deem should be blocked! Thank you Panasonic.
Guys, call your local phone company and ask if they offer selective call rejection. Generally there is a small fee, but if your telco uses Nortel switching eqpt. they will offer this service. When you get an unwanted call, hang up, dial a star code (ex. *113), follow the automated instructions, and the number will be added to your list It takes maybe 5 seconds or so to add a number. The next time they call, your phone will not ring and they will hear an announcement that "this phone is not taking calls at this time" or some other pre-recorded announcement with similar wording. All calls not in your rejection list will come through to you as normal. You will see the rejected number on your caller ID, but the phone won't ring. National and State do not call lists are a joke; it is very simple to circumvent these lists, and telemarketers know it. I am a Telco central office tech, and Selective call rejection is among our most popular features with our customers.
Go to the following website and it tells you how to put your number on a "no call" list. If they call again, tell them your number is on this list and they are not supposed to be calling it, and to take your number off or you will contact the FCC.
They call 6 to 8 times a day. I'll never answer. If I mistakenly do, I can't promise what I will say. How do you get them to stop--? What do you have to say to these harrassing idiots.
