He's BACK! Called a second time in two days and left a almost unintelligible message again.
today is Monday December 14 I received a call from an Alex from IRS threaten me on the telephoneand when I called back to number it rings 5 times and then a beep I am going to report them
A lady called and she is calling from IRS and looking for me. I said go ahead, then she said call back this number and speak to Kevin Johnson regarding some tax issues? My friends informed me that some kind of Fraud is going on. Be Alert. Inform FBI Right Away.
Yes we have gotten a cll from this number and the same name. Sh had thretend that IRS is coming to arrest me!
I wish if I can get hold of the address.
Received a voice message from this number. The voice was in such a heavy foreign accent that I could not understand him. I did however gather enough to ascertain that he said he was from the IRS General Revenue Service it was "time sensitive" and not to delay calling him back. Yeah, right. I've never gotten a phone call from the IRS or anyone from the Federal Government--they don't work that hard especially on a Saturday. My home number under my initials and he called me by my first name so it concerns me how he got my number.
Creepy sounding man with a thick, almost unintelligible Indian accent and a cold, evil attitude, one time called himself "Alex ?Smalding" (sp.?), another time gave another name (impossible to understand), claimed he was from the IRS. First time said to call back agent "Darren Johnson." We and our CPA tax accountant tried to call back the number multiple times, dead end no answer. Second time I told him twice "your number doesn't work, or it's an incorrect number" and he interrupted me twice with "just take down this number." Total scam! I will report the number... and maybe get an ear-splitting whistle for the next lying predator who abuses our (paid extra for) unlisted home number, also on the "do not call" list...

This Indian called us few months back and left us a message that he was from IRS and demanded us to return a call by the end of the day. we ignored it. This time he specifically asked for my wife and repeated the same stuff over the voice mail. I dealt with IRS issue before, IRS will only send you a certified letter with a contact phone # and details of your issue.
Thanks to everyone for your previous postings. I received a call today that matches exactly what is shown below. Already reported it.
he said he is from IRS for tax issues and the number is IRS's main number.
The accent was thick, I had to listen several times. The call was at my mother's house. They asked for her, said to wait for the message, and the same guy then said her name and that it was Matthew Johns (never met an Arabic person named Matthew Johns). He said it was the IRS and the "hotline number to his extension was" 585-466-0174. He said that she can not dismiss this call, they needed her weekend attorney records (not sure what he really said, that was what I made of it). He said this was a very time sensitive matter and that she could not dismiss this call and must return his call immediately. He said they had a record of her tax returns and if she didn't respond "illegal allegations or altercations" would happen. I think he meant "Legal Actions", what he is doing is "Illegal Allegations" LOL...anyway, I was not laughing when she told me about this. The call was at 9:11 a.m. that number alone made me angry. 9-11 with a threat to my mother by an Arabic voice. Not a good idea to do that on his behalf. I have reported this to the FTC and the attorney general in my state. Are there are any other words of advice from those of you that have dealt with this harrassment before?
Just got a call from this number, same threats. I said to the caller that this felt like a scam and he blew up at me and said he would not help and to expect a police visit in 45 minutes. I told him to f himself and hung up.
He said he's calling from IRS.
This guy is a terrible man. Said he was from the IRS investigative unit. I was audited from the last 7 years and I owed thousands of dollars in taxes. Said I had 45 minutes to retain a lawyer that he was sending officers over to arrest me. I was terrified! My husband saw right away it was a hoax .Came home to wait, nothing happened. What a sick, sick person!

This Guy Is Fraud. Left Me VoiceMail Claiming To Be From The IRS Investigative Unit. I Called Back And HE Answered But Hung Up Twice, Next time Asked fOr My Phone Number And Told Me Not To Call Him Back!
Man with a strong Indian accent left a message claiming to be from the IRS Criminal Investigation Unit. When I called back a woman with a similar accent answered. When I asked her to repeat, she hung up. Would the IRS be making calls on Thanksgiving Day?
