Received a pre-recorded message that my warranty was about to expire; press 1 to speak with a representative. Pressed 1, received a call back several minutes later from 207-221-0506, with the company identifying themselves as "warranty services." I was again told that my car warranty was about to expire and I needed to renew it. When I inquired about which vehicle, I was told the one purchased between 2003 and 2012. When I asked for more information, specifically, which car (make, model, etc), the individual hung up on me.

This company calls cell phones without the recipient's authorization - or any pre-existing relationship. They then play a recorded message with nobody on the line to answer questions. Their recorded message warns you that the warranty on your car has recently expired and that you should not attempt to dive a car without a warranty. You need to talk to their operator to reinstate your car warranty. When you press to connect with an operator to get contact information for the organization, the call gets disconnected. This is definitely a scam, and the call to a mobile without authorization of the recipient is illegal.

This last one sounds like my ex wife, the number looks familiar too. She turned the corner years ago.

Caller was very rude, wanted to talk to a person who doesn't live here. Wouldn't take no for an answer, so I let off some gas in the receiver and she hung up. This seems to always work pretty well.

A call about an "expired warranty" or something like that on "my" automobile. I don't own a car, and I never have. I barely drive. It played for about 5-7 seconds and then the voice script got weird and sounded like a broke cassette tape. I waited in case it would clear up, for after about 20 seconds it was still doing that, so I hung up.
