Woman answered. So I decided to try to play a little game with them and stated I have an 04 [honda] Accord. The woman then states they are the "underwriter company for honda and we extend their warranties for them". Mind you she never revealed their official name. When I press for more information on the outfit like who would I be making to she said their name is "The warranty service center for honda". After that she hung up and a message stated my phone number would be removed. Little did she know I recorded at least part of our conservation on my digital recorder. I will be forwarding a complaint to my local attorney general and the FTC.
Oh and I called the number back, no on my landline but on my skype phone (no number is associated with that account yet) and I guess because the number assigned to me on skype is unavailable I was prompted by their automated systems to enter a valid number to be removed from their list. Since I don't have a number I counldn't do anything.

Guys: They are already totally illegal by ignoring the do not call list. As far as I know the robodialer known as a predictive dialer only calls you more if it sees that a live person answered, even worse so if you press 1. Forget about trying to get removed from their list. The best thing you can do is not answer it. Actually the best thing you can do if you can do it is play SIT tones to it. Even if you have to get a recorder near the phone and play into the phone that way. Try to set up "call forwarding selective" on your line and forward their number to a disconnected number, instant SIT tone.
I saw a blocked call today.
Spam call for muffler waranty, women's recorded voice. At end of message, there is option to press 2 if you want your name off list.
I pressed 2 from this same call about 4 months ago, and I have our phone number on the Do Not Call list.
these guys just called again today. I pressed 2.
This has to be some kind of trolling. The number they called is used for training purposes by the company I work for. Its not a published number, and is not associated with any individual.
I come to look at the blinking callerid display to indicate a new caller. There was no voice mail. Based on information on Whocalled.us (among others) this is probably a spam caller, and it's a good chance they will be calling frequently. So I will block this number.
they call and tell you tht your car warranty is about to expire. Well we got them good. They asked what type of car and year. They said we could get whatever plan we wanted too. Well we took the $500.00 plan. When they asked for our name, they said first name please. We said Bull, they asked for the last name, we said SHIT. Then they told us to have blessed day.
i want to know what this is for?
Calls me every day and several times.
These are repeated Robo-calls and when you call back and follow their procedure to have my # removed they still keep calling. There ought to be a law against this!
