I got this same call today...it went to voicemail and the automated "IRS" message this was my final notice an that they were going to file a lawsuit against me....sounds like total scam!
California May 10th, 2016
A woman identified herself as an IRS agent and proceeded to tell me a lawsuit had been filed against me for taxes that had not been paid for tax years 2010-2015, totaling over $8000. She said my call was being recorded by the IRS, the FBI, and the DC Police and anything I said could be used against me in court. An arrest warrant was being issued for me and I would have to surrender my Driver's License. I kept responding that none of what she was saying made sense and I thought it was a scam, she finally just hung up on me. I was very upset and am very angry. If I were not in good health, I could have had a heart attack or something similar in response to this frightening call.
Recd the scam irs warning on mobile phone did not answer but they left a voice mail.
Automated message said it was IRS final notice, filing a lawsuit against me. Call them back at office number 567-377-6603. Total scam. Such losers, get a life!
