Just got called with the same scam. Said they were verifying information for the listing for this year. When asked if we paid for the listing last year they said "yes" when I asked how much we paid they hung up.

Don't bother calling this number, I did and it never even rang. I called the number I found on the web site onlinenationalyellowpages.com. The woman I talked to seem to take me seriously and said she would look into it. I think it's a scam to verify information like it's not the first time you call, then send out an invoice because someone answering the phone doesn't realize it. But it's a scam for sure if they tell you that you paid for the listing last year when you didn't. If you paid for this with a credit card, call the CC company and get a REFUND. Tell them to look at this site to back up what you say.

The $390 fee means they can pay a BIG incentive to the telemarketers. Report this and every other call you get to the FTC at 1-888-382-1222. It only takes a few minutes and they are starting to go after these companies when they tget enough calls about them.

She called here this morning and said she wanted to confirm that we authorized removal of our ad from their yellow pages directory. I asked, "who authorized the removal?" She said " --- did." I hung up on them. They called back a second time, I picked it up and set it right back down again. Some of the older style Caller ID Boxes have a "reject" button on them. When a telemarketer calls, you can hit the "reject" button. Next time they call, your phone jingles one time, then stops - while they get a recording that you are not accepting their calls.

I had a call from DIDX and from phone number 567-248-0262, stated that they were sending me an invoice for $80 for an online yellow page ad. I stated that I never authorized a yellow page ad for online and asked them to send me a copy of the authorization. They stated that they do not keep those and I hung up on them.
