I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Two calls in two days, no message. So I used *67 and called the number. A man answered with just a "hello" and no other identification. I just hung up.
JUST CALLED POLICE AND GAVE THEM THIS IMBECILE'S PHONE NUMBER
Someone looking for money I'm sure
Scam solicitation for Police benevolent

I'm trying something different. Since these a*holes never leave a message anyway, I shut off my machine and just let the phone ring until it stops. Maybe that'll stop them. Yeah, right.
They've been calling every day; I've been not answering every day. Imagine the assholes I'd have to deal with if not for Caller ID.
I just received a phone call from this man who said he was from the Police, wanted to send me a packet, but wanted me to pledge at least $15-$20. I told him that I couldn't afford to make a pledge. He then told me
that maybe I would be able to make a pledge next time.
A couple of years ago I received a phone call said they were from the New York State Police Department, wanted
to send a packet, but wanted a pledge. He sent the packet but I didn't send anything. He then called back
screaming a yelling saying that he sent the packet and I should send a donation. I did call the New York State
Police Department and was told that they do not call on the phone. Definitely a scam!! Just hang up which is what I will be doing next time!
Said he was looking for donations to Police Brotherhood Assn and that he would be sending me a packet, but before he can do that I would need to make a pledge right then over the phone. He became angry when I said I would look over the packet and then decide whether to make a donation. Said he needed to write an amount down before he can send out the packet. Then he asked "how much can you afford to pledge right now?" I said I would not pledge anything and hung up.
held on long enough to leave a 1 second blank message. Called back and "could not be dailed"
