A complete scam. They started to leave a message claiming they were from Verizon FIOS, that we changed or disconnected our service, but didn't return equipment. We did no such thing. What crap.

Claimed that I had canceled my cable service and still had equipment belonging to them. Not true.

This is NOT a scam company. It is a company who handled parts replacement for many different companies...HP, Verizon, Comcast, etc... For instance, my. HP laptop is covered under warranty, and it was determined that they would cover the replacement of my power supply part. This company handled the replacement and called to let me know that my part was on backorder, but would be escalated to deliver in 3 to 5 days. They may be contacting you to set up the replacement of company equipment or to send you a replacement part, but either way, they shouldn't be labeled as a scam. I would say they are more of a parts it shipping or receiving.

I would like to know why they keep on calling ? one time about return equipments, other time they asked for wrong first name and my last name. when i return there call they said they found the right person. can someone keep them from callin??

Candice on behalf of Comcast was how the caller identified herself in the voicemail message that was left for me. She said that they are currently processing my Visa request for the return kits to be used for the return of the unused Comcast equipment & that I should call them about this. I called the number (their announcement says they are On Process Technologies) on March 25th & a guy named Preston (with an Indian accent) answered & was very rude to me when I challenged the message I had gotten. I said I had no units to return & said I'd never given them a Visa number. While I was ranting he tried to talk & then he finally hung up on me. I called Comcast directly after that & they confirmed that there is no such company as On Process Technology associated with Comcast. A TOTAL SCAM! This company should be reported to the FTC & more.

I received a call from them and it happens to be what is called a hide-behind company. This proves without a doubt that the phone and cable companies work together to try and screw you. I know who they where calling for, it is Direct TV. I have perfect lawsuit that I can file, because of the email conversation that I had on there site, where "Screen Printed", every time I email them, I remind them that emails are "Legal Documents". I dropped them two months ago and they want their box back. Well after all the emails that where sent to them they still have not replied with a mailing label. The last email I sent them, I told them it was going in the county dump. By the way, I print screen all web site based emails, including this one.

This is Asurion, who is an insurance company for different companies, dell, sprint, at & t, etc. When you do not return an item you filed a claim on, they will call you. Easiest way to get rid of these annoying calls is to turn in the device! I forgot to turn in a phone to them, and they reminded me, several times.

This call is from Asurion. They manage the repair and replacement of defective electronics for many companies. It is a legitimate business. Just return your defective equipment on time or they will call you.

Call was from Verizon asking about equipment that needed to be updated or returned. I don't have any Verizon accounts. Automated message.

THis is the second call I got in two consecutive days. A woman had left a message on my answering service saying she was calling on behalf of Verizon and that I had to return some equipment or otherwise I will have to pay for same. The called also implied that I have left the services of Verizon and was asking me to reonsider using Verizon Fios.
First of all I am still with Verizon for both Telephone and DSL Internet. Verizon DOES NOT have Verizon FIOS in my area ( Santa Monica CA).I do not know how they got my phone number or why they called me as I am still with VErizon. They claimed that they are calling in behalf of VErizon. This is nothing but a big SCAM. as I gather from the other comments that they claim to represent AT&T, Comcast, Dell etc. I called them back and told the rep. very clearly that they should not call me again on this kind of frivilous nonsense,

May 6th, 2010 Wayne KY

Called on behalf of AT&T regarding the return of a defective phone that had been replaced.

February 24th, 2010 J

Called saying they were Comcast Cable saying we had canceled or changed service and had equipment that needs to be returned.

February 22nd, 2010 Tracie

Neilsen Consumer - calling to remind me to transmit.

February 18th, 2010 Kelly FL

It was a woman from Dell, calling to remind me that I had not returned my defective laptop after they sent me a replacement. She is right, and if Dell would email or sent the return shipping label, I'd happily return it. Unfortunately, I've called several times and they insist they will both send and email one, and they never do.
