Numerous calls. Some are just a recorded message saying it is from "your local cable company" then give the number. Other times they come on the line and refuse to take no for an answer, so the only way to deal with them is hang up. One time, I just blew a loud whistle in the phone. When I ask sharply, "Who is calling?" they hang up. I cannot call this number on my MagicJack, which is what the recording says to do, and do not have long distance on my phone. The first few times, I asked politely to be taken off the list. They keep calling.

Report all calls referring to 505-647-9618 to the New Mexico Attorney General at 1-800-678-1508
, or to email@example.com.
Start calling and/or emailing the Attorney General of New Mexico, for the Empereon Marketing calls from 505-647-9618. The Feds aren't going to do anything about it. Just like they aren't doing anything about the sham calls regarding your vehicle warranty -- all just to get your credit card number.
They won't stop calling, need to block it. I am on the do not call list and have an unlisted number and it makes no difference.
Emperon Mkt calls my house daily, sometimes numerous times. How can I get this to stop? What kind of company is Emperon?
Dee Anderson Jul 11th, 2008

and ask to be put on the "Do Not Call" list if you want these calls to stop.
Call them back and it will send you too a answering machine and leave a message. They are a telemarketing service for newspapers.
They need to stop calling. they call 3, 4 times a day.
505-647-9618 is Empereon Marketing, a telemarketer. You can file a complaint with http://www.donotcall.gov if you are registered with them. I did. I'm getting tired of these telemarketers!!!!
stop calling, calling, calling and calling. Someone sold my phone number to this company I am unlisted. How did they get my #, must be the cable company i use?
This is the fucking jews they call and then hang up its all a conspiracy to get back at you for them being jewish...
I just got this call/hangup the number is different 505-647-9618
I have repeatedly requested that these people stop calling me - including filing a compaint with the government. They flat out ignore my requests and I can't get them to quit. They call AT LEAST 3 times a day between 7am and 7pm.
This number has called my number 4 times now. They enjoying calling late at night like after the 800pm night time. Jerks.
They have called over 12 times in three days. They don't leave a message just their number on caller id.
They do not leave a message but their number is regitred on my caller id. I am reistered with the Federal Do Not Call List. I spoke with someone in the 888 number and she told me it would take at least 30 days to remove my number from their rolls. I told them they had 5 minutes or I would register a complaint with the FCC.
I think everyone should call Empereon Market like I did! Let's harrass them! Their number is: 1-501-647-9618
They have called me for years and years. and even when my answering machine picks up they keep saying hello, helloo, hello, into the machine!!! These people are total idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!
They keep calling like 3 times a day how do I make it stop
we weren't home to answer
If they're annoying you, call your state's attorney general's office and see what can be done. In some states what they're doing may be illegal.
At least it's a means of getting them away from your phone.
James Brooks Jan 11th, 2008
One call every day for the last five days (including Saturday). No message on machine.
Don't forget to go to the National Do Not Call Registry and file a complaint there. the website is https://www.donotcall.gov/
Since I have registered, my telemarketing call have just about all but vanished.
Called but got dial tone a moment after picking up the phone.
No one on the other end of the line when I picked up. I whistled loudly into the receiver. Then I heard someone say "ow."

They are calling me at work!!!!
Who the heck are these people?
Copy and Send this message to everyone you know.
Contact your congressman/senator and tell them that we want a Bill introduced before Congress to force the Phone companies to setup "SELECTIVE CALL FORWARDING" for the general public so that we can send these "Marketing Company Calls" right back where they originated or send them to a 900 number so they can be billed for making these stupid calls.
rb - Arkansas Nov 17th, 2007
I propose that we start a movement to put a Bill before Congress that would force the Phone companies to setup selective call forwarding for "US" the general public so that we could taht these kinds of call and forward them right back to the originator or to our Congressman so that they would learn what its like to receive these stuppid call. Maybe then they would act to put a stop to them.
I called and asked to be taken off their list 2 times last week, and still nothing.
Duh. Register your number on the FTC DNC list and then, report them. Duhhhh!
Duh. It's what the list is for. Duh.
They are some sort of messaging company for different companies. They called me for Charter Communications. No message...just irritating telemarketing.
Irritated. Oct 09th, 2007
I want to shoot these annoying fucks like I did the annoying fucks in Bagdad!
I keep getting calls from (505) 647-9618, and I do not know how to stop them.
They keep on calling my work number but never leave a message. It is really annoying!!!!
dfrenchie2000 Sep 17th, 2007
The recording said to call this number concerning cable service. Obviously a scam.
I told you after the 2nd call to stop calling and I just got another one. Do not call again or I will contact proper authorities
Received a call on my cell phone from Empereon Mktg. I went straight to the FCC Complaint site: https://esupport.fcc.gov/form1088/1088gform.do and filled out the form reporting them to the FCC
Got 14 messages from them while I was on vacation.
left message, silence then, "Hello" twice, then hungup
I filed a complaint with donotcall.gov
Stop calling my work number!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am at work to do my work, not to answer telemarketing calls!!!!
Emperon MTK called on behalf of the Minneapolis Star Tribune to try to get me to subscribe to the paper.
Verify you are listed in the national Do Not Call registry, then enter a complaint at:
Got the first call on my cell and didn't answer b/c only a few people have my number and I did not know this area code- wanted to listen to the VM forst but they did not leave one. I do not know how they got it but I will not answer their calls and see how many I recieve and then take action by all the recommendations.
They keep trying...and I keep ignoring them.I wonder how such a failure stays in business. Must be tough being ignored by 99.999999999% of people.
Just STOP calling!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They call and there is nothing but silence. Very annoying, and could be worrying to some. If it's supposed to be some automated computer voice system (per other posts), their sytem is trash. Wonder who runs it and what they're paying...
Call comes in 6:30 am about twice per week. Recording soliciting a call back. Call back reaches recorded message asking to leave message.

A complaint has been filed with the FCC.
the calls just keep coming
I called the NM number at http://empereon.com/contact.html. The young lady answering was polite and helpful. I gave her our number and she stated it would take about 48 hours to go through.
They keep calling everyday
I get calls from Empereon Mkt EVERYDAY like 5 times or more and it's annoying and also cause they're calling at my employer.
2-3 calls per day, and my number is on the DNC registry. I can't believe major publications and service providers do business with this disreputable company.
called me 6 times in a row on my cell today and left 1 vm with just static
They called me... no one there... "Unknown Name" 5:27 PM PST.
They call every single day.
Stop calling will ya?
once per day..
You can simply forget about cordially telling the following callers to please not call. They have absolutely no regard for your wishes,or your prvacy.
I have ben receiving these calls for a year now. I have spoken to supervisors
of these networks, I have registered with the do not call registery, the annoyance bureau, and purchased the privacy manager feature - all to no avail! It has energized
them even more.

1/9/07 - Phone rings and no one speaks. I stopped answering. They call my cell phone. Calls are once a week for a month now. Very annoying.
they call and no one is on the other line ......
They call at least once a day, all times of the day
They call me every single week day. Sometimes multiple times a day. Its been going on for a couple months. And I have a cell phone. It is against FCC regulations for telemarketers to use automated dialers on cell phones.
One call today, call id labelled it as UNAVAILABLE. Nothing but static at the other end.
Janet in MN Dec 06th, 2006
They are calling with increasing frequency. Please stop.
I have been receiving phone calls from Emperon Mkt 3-4 times daily. There is no one on the line, just dead. Sometimes they will hang up before I can pick up the phone. I kept clearing my caller ID until just before Thanksgiving. I decided to keep a log and here you go. Phone calls dates and times from Empereon Mkt (505) 647-9618:
11/29:11:14 AM; 7:34 PM; 11/30: 5:13 PM; 12/1: 9:35 AM; 10:15 AM; 8:58 PM; 12/2 10:14 AM; 12/4: 10:00 AM; 2:41 PM; 8 PM. It is now 8:30 PM on 12/4, and I will continue to keep this log. I also got two calls as Unknown on 11/28 at 7:01 PM and again on 11/29 at 7:30 PM. Don't know if they are related or not, but I am tired of this!!!!
I filed a complaing with the FCC & Do not call registry; now with you too!
THe caller ID says: Imperium Mkting. Calling every other day. Very few companies have our phone, so this could indeed be paper subscribtion.
I received two calls today but only half a ring each time and then they hung up...

I'm so sick of getting calls from this number. It has to be an automatic dialing system because one day it must have thought that my voicemail was me in person because I checked my voicemail and there was a guy on the other line saying "hello? hello?" and then hung up.
This call was from Cox Cable looking for the previous owner of our phone number.
Greg from CA Nov 19th, 2006
Glad to find this site. Weird phone calls like this make me nervous.
Dan San Diego Nov 19th, 2006
Got a call from them about 5 minutes ago. I did not answer and they left no message.
Received several calls in the last few weeks sometimes 3 per day. I just called the 505-541-5550
# and spoke to the receptionist that said its an automatic dialer. She said you can leave a message there and they will remove it, or else she could remove for you. I gave her my number, hopefully it stops.

They keep calling and if I answer there is no one there. daily+ for over a week to my cell.
I will submit a do not call to their website, but most will say give them 60 days to delete from the database - which is too long.
I don't think the police has the authority or ability to do anything aabout this. The FCC might...
Bryan in CA Oct 27th, 2006
This number started calling me yesterday. I googled it and found a post from someone, on a message board, complaining about this number back in 2004. Why hasn't anything been done about these guys yet? I'm on the do not call list so if they keep it up I'm going to make them very miserable.
4 calls in 1 day with noone at the other end of the line when I answered. I blocked Empereon Mkt from caller id block, then the calls started again from the same number with "Unavailable" instead of Empereon Mkt.
Bob in Chicago Oct 17th, 2006
Empereon Marketing is calling - they abviously are a telesales firm that "contract" to call on behalf of various companies (ie LA Times, Chicago Trib., etc.) Anyone can go to their web site and email them to place your phone # on their internal do-not-call list. Check where the call originated - they have 3 offices in the US Once you've done this, SAVE your email "sent". If you receive another call, you can complain to the Better Business Bureau, AND the newspaper, company, etc. that they're calling for! Also, check the (newspaper for example) web site. Frequently they offer "feed-back" areas.
K Nothacker Oct 16th, 2006
These are telesales calls to sell subscriptions (in Illinois) to the Chicago Tribune. Since they own several newspapers, I would assume the subscription offer changes with the locale. When you tell the caller "this is a business" the response is "That's OK - we can set you up a personal subscription at your home" This is to whoever ansers the call!
