Further information on the credit card calls - I've also logged the following numbers that they've used to call me:

503-468-5336
661-388-1670
666-226-7788
701-217-1003
772-224-3390
858-225-8393

I guess when they get enough complaints at one number they just sign on with another phone company.
Too bad the FCC or some other office doesn't read 'whocalled.us'

Both Kimm and ''E'' are correct. These credit reprice scam calls tend to be deceptive, implying that you're in financial peril if you don't play along with their game.

A mass of complaints to various channels helped the FTC b-tch-slap several ''Heathers'' and ''Rachels'' in 2010. If you hope for more prompt human assistance, file complaints with the FTC and attorneys general. Individual action through a TCPA lawsuit would be a strong suggestion, if anyone manages to corner one of these scammers long enough.

See discussions for these numbers: 402-982-0479, 407-000-9876, 714-244-5025, 813-355-7202, 812-589-4178

They did the same to me, when I pressed the number to speak with whoever, they hung up.

GET ON THE REGISTRY DO NOT CALL LIST AND REPORT THE NUMBER, maybe if enough do, something will happen

Just got this call and if someone was not paying close attention to the recorded message they could easily fall for this SCAM since the message states that this is the last notification about your credit card account and that several notices regarding the status of your account have been mailed to you. Don't fall for it since you did not receive these notification in the mail because they never sent any. This is just another SCAM to get your credit card information and nothing else!!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!

I hung up because I suspected fraud.

This company keeps calling me telling me it is the last time they will call with an offer to lower my credit card rate. I usually hang up. This time I pressed 1 to speak to a "friendly" customer service rep. When I told the A-hole that I wanted to be removed from the call list, he hung up on me. I hope they call me one more time so when I press 1 to speak to a friendly customer service rep I can cuss them out.

I was not able to pick up call; they left no message.
(A fun thing I've tried lately with many of these unwelcome calls is to take the option to speak to someone and once they are on the line, I'll punch numbers on the keypad randomly. "Hello? Hello? Can you hear me?" It tends to annoy the telemarketer, which makes it gratifying.)

This is "Cardmember Services", a criminal organization that attempts to steal credit card information so they can commit identity theft. A quick Google search will turn up half a dozen newspaper articles about them.

Well, I got two more calls from this guy/number today. I guess they didn't remove my number. Time to report them to the FCC.

I wonder whether Ryan Dubois is a victim of these scammers, or merely a fake name they use in order to get a new fake phone number.

Every day I get this call, 9 am through supper. Never leaves a message so today I finally answered. Automated message about credit card is in danger of being canceled, I didn't listened to the rest, hung up.

I waited till the end - 'Push 1 for a friendly operator'. I pushed '1' got a voice asking if I wanted to change my credit card with a balance of at least $3000. I replied - "Are you the friendly operator" - he hung up. I called back - got a recording to push '1' to remove my number from their list. I did so. We'll see what happens.
