I also get calls from this number quite a bit. I don't have time to go hunting them down or demanding they stop so I simply have made use of my phone's ability to send calls directly to voice mail without making my phone ring at all. I see them on my call logs but they never interrupt my day anymore.

I know for a fact that if you owe a company money, you are not legally required to pay anyone but the original creditor even if they enlist a collection agency, so you DO NOT have to accept being harrassed by these people.

someone from this # 434-533-9030 keeps calling my moms house asking for my son who was killed in 2007,which is VERY UPSETTING to her, my mom told them he was deceased & they wanted a death certificate, mom then asked could you tell me what this is about they said no, she then told them well then I cant send you a death certificate, if its so important then why cant they tell us what its all about.
They need to be shut down

receivablesperf repeatedly called our number and illegally harassed and attempted to convert the debt of another unrelated entity to us, insulted and threatened us without cause. Receivablespref is neither a registered or therefore a legally operating entity under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Number appears to be unlisted.

If you want this to stop, call Receivables Performance at their main line which is 1-866-212-7408 and tell them they have the wrong number. They will pull up your name and number when they call so don't worry if they ask if you are the name they ask, tell them you are not that person. Tell them you don't know that person (even if it is you), and that you want this harassment to stop! They will put a "don't call" next to your name and number. You are under no legal obligation to tell them the truth or to tell them who you are. They are a company and are paid to harass you. Don't let them! Lie to them and tell them you are not that person and they will go away. I did this for my Mom who is disabled and can't handle the harassment. This is a sickening business and even if the law wont stand up for our rights, we can do it ourselves!

These sleeze bags at RPM Collection Agency, phone number 434-533-9029, keep calling my house. It is a wrong number and I tell them so every time. Everybody that gets called by these sleezebags: start invoicing them for your time wasted and them when the don't pay send them to collections... that is what I am going to do. BTW, I am also registered on the do not call list.

Have received numerous calls from this number. They've asked for a couple of different names (but the names rhyme, so perhaps it is the same name that just sounds different depending on the caller). We've told them that there is no one by that name at this number and told them to stop calling. But they continue to call several times a week.

OMG This guy just went nuts! Told them to stop calling my daughter's cell phone... asked to stop calling as I have requested in the past. Told them I was going to file with the NYS Attorney General next time they called. (Which I have had to do in the past with these people!) He started screaming at me, telling me he wouldn't take the phone number off the list. He wouldn't be threatened by me... called my several explitives...

They call and tell me the need to discuss an important business matter. They have my last name but not my 1st name. They keep calling me at work to my direct line. They will not tell me why they are calling and they hang up. I am sure they are trying to pull some kind of scam.

They call a lot. I sometimes just pick up and then hang up immediately. I know the only money I owe is to my parents and student loans, which I am paying on and current. I hate these automated dialing systems. If *you* called *me*, I should not have to sit on hold to find out why the heck you are calling me. I had a problem with another company a while back. I finally wrote a letter of complaint to the attorney general in the caller's state (Pennsylvania). The attorney general said they are not breaking the law; however, it did stop the calls. Might be worth sending a letter. It seems that current law provides more protection to the legitimate debtor than to an uninvolved third party. I believe this needs to be changed. There needs to be an opportunity to tell a real person "do not call this number ever again." My opinion is that any legitimate debt collector will send a letter by postal mail, and if they call, they will provide their agency's name, address and phone number.
And 4 blank checks? Are you kidding me? That's a big scam. Unfortunately, some people are naive about such matters and will follow the instructions of someone who sounds like an authority figure.

This Company keeps calling, even after I sent them a registered letter explaining I JUST share the COMMON name of the person they are looking for..it is connected to a SPRINT account that I never had! They will not even give me the telephone number of the 'so called' account I had, all they could give me was a billing address (in which I never lived at)! After I sent the letter they stopped calling for about 4-5 months, and now they are at it again. I too am on the DNC list. My wife verbally lost it on the rep calling and told her to get a real job, and stop harrassing true, bill-paying citizens--who are NOT customers of SPRINT.

I'm getting so mad at these calls and wish we could stop them somehow. They always wake up my baby or bother me day, night, weekends. They ask for someone who does not live here and we don't know. I have asked to talk to a manager, but they refused saying, "I'm not going to get up out of my chair", I said, "You damn well better, as you've been harassing me for months." They hung up on me. I can't stand it.

We have also been receiving harassing phone calls from RPM. I contacted them via the phone numbers listed on this web site. We do not know the person they are looking for. This company calls any day...any time of day or night. Most times, I am not able to get anyone to answer. Already being on the DNC registry...you will find that you can make a report, but they really don't promise to do anything. They are a bill collection agency and are not subject to the DNC registry. The best thing to do is to get their mailing address and send a cease communications letter. If necessary, file a complaint with the FTC as well and put your case number in the letter. Tell them that you either will contact the original party for bill arrangement...or if you are not the responsible party, inform them of that and to no longer communicate with you. You can get an idea of a letter to send by searching online. If they contact after that, then they can be legally dealt with.

Phone number is a land line located somewhere in Chase, Virginia. I receive a call at least once a day. I never answer it and the caller doesn't leave a message. RPM bill collector and who knows what other things this Telemarketer does. These are the most unprofessional people. They call 6 times a day and even weekends(yes Sundays). This is one company I would like to see go bankrupt.

I get about 6-7 calls a day from this number. When I do pick up, no one says anything and than they hang up. But if I don't answer they let it ring and ring, but never leave a message.
So, they are calling just to call. It's getting really irratating!

I called it back, and it makes the sound of a disconnected number and than says, in a automated womans voice " All circuits are busy now, please try your call again" and than in an automated mans voice "7084t"

What the HELL

The "gentleman" was extremely rude and made threats towards my husbands career, and threatened to have all of his pay "taken away". He also threatened Military legal action, although he was not familiar with the terms and attempted making some up. My husband is a US Soldier, and out of the country, so good luck with that. They usually call about three or four times a day with the same nonsense. I offered to make a payment that I could afford, and he said they would not accept it, and demanded the entire amount in three or less payments. That would be impossible for us currently.

I receive at least 1-2 calls from this number everyday! They usually call in the morning and just before 9 at night. I have no idea who or what they are. It is really aggravating! I will not answer a call if I don't know who it is. They do not leave a message when the machine picks up. I am really sick of these companies that will call every day all day and will not leave a message! Putting your name on the DNC list will do not good! I am on the DNC list and they still call everyday and get away with it.

Someone from that number calls 2-3 times a day. I answered once and the caller said the name of the person he was looking for because he was collecting on a credit card debt. I do not owe any credit card. I then told him that person was not here and do not call my house again. He told me I can not tell him not to call my house.
