Scam telemarketer. Give them a taste of their own medicine. After recording hit 1 to talk to rep, then blast the loudest kids whistle/noisiest toy you can find into the receiver. Guarantee they'll take you off the list after a few times of that.
Get this - I just called this number back from my home phone & it says it's an automated "Do Not Call Registry". Very skeptical of that!
Called my 16 year old's cell phone during the school day. She didn't answer it. Have had call from similar # at home & seems like it was same cc scam others have mentioned.
Phone rang and I couldn't answer at teh time. No msg left. Called my cell # which is on Do Not Call list and obviously this scam company ignores it. I will report them.
called me multiple times....once i got through to a human and asked her name and the company's name and said "you know it's illegal to spam call cell phones to start calls with a recording to call any number on the do-not-call list..." and she hung up. biatch! next time i'll threaten to skull-f--- her mother/daughter/sister after i've eaten their eyes. jc, next time i will not pick up. do not every pick up or push any buttons...all they care about is that there's a human who will answer...nothing else...don't ever answer a number you don't recognize.
Received call - no message left on voicemail - called number back - no response.
dead air - open line.......
Call from a so-called US CC Services. Answered, but no one answered. I assume that the Phone ID meant U.S. Credit Card Service. I Simply hung up. The pattern resembles the credit card interest scam that continues to make its rounds. I do not know why the FTC does nothing to stop these groups who are preying on individuals who are trying to pay their bills. These kind of scammer operations state that they cann reduce your credit card rate. But in order to make the transfer, you have to provide them with personal and credit card information. Then, guess what happens! We're all paying for what what happens. This particular group does not seemd to be as slick as the others because their robo technology doesn't immediately start when the phone is picked up/connected.
call from Renton, W. It was a recording about credit cards , then said will be with you in a moment.
for the hell of it I think i would be on hold for hours. )&%^) I Hunk up the phone
CALLED MY CELL PHONE! Which is a number about 10 people have. WTH.
This telemarketer couldn't even tell me what company he was with other than 'card services'. When I began naming several companies and told him he can't just call people out of the blue offering lower interest rates only to NOT know which company he was with HE HUNG UP ON ME. I tried calling back only to get an automated recording that said "if you wish to be removed from out calling list ..." which I already was by the way. So there was no way to reach a business who hung up on them for asking what company they were with. My guess is they are spammers after your SSN#
"Cardholder services" scam. Call was to my cell phone. (possibly spoofed number?)
Cardholder Services. My number is on the Do not call list. They don't follow it. I asked them to remove it. They said no.
A recorded message said the call was from cardholder services. Didn't state which card. Sais there's nothing suspicious going on with my account, but, that they were calling to discuss ways to get a lower interest rate on my card. Said, to discuss this program, press 2(or some other number). The recording still didnt say which card they were calling about. I simply hung up.
