this place calls my house about 15 to 30 times a day!!! they tell me to hold then disconnect me. this is quite annoying. i called them back and they say they are promoting for bell canada. i have spoken with bell canada about this and they said they have gotten numerous compaints about sp data and that they are not affiliated with them. i have gogled the company and called their toronto number 416-915-3300, i press 0 and it rings and rings but no one has ever answered. i have even tried their company directory to find the extention for their CEO and i get a recording that the person does not exist. WTF is going on with this company. what do they want? I have spent alot of time on this like hours!!!!!!!!!!!!

I work at SP DATA. I could understand your frustrations but we are an outbound call centre that has contracts with TD insurance and Direct Energy. I do apologize for any inconviniences, but the clients give us the numbers and we dial to to offer certain products that will assist you at home or in your life. Any questions post and I will find a response.

416-915-3309 continually calls and will not respond to "Hello" and after a pause will loudly hang-up in my ear - very rude - I looked up this number and here I find a am certainly not the only annoyed person - no luck connecting back to remove my number from there list. We live in Burlington, ON.

Was assailed by calls & hangups from this number-- and then they called today and I got through. Someone claiming to offer free Toronto Suns finally responded. Refused the Suns, & told her about the panoply of calls. Silence, followed by a hangup.

I get calls from this number 2-3 times a day, usually about two hours apart. i never pick up as im aware that its a telemarketer. reading the posts here about it being dead air on the other end leads me to think its a system setup to log when your most likely to be home so they can pass that info along to a company so they can call during the hours your most likely to pick up. key word pick up..

i just let it ring and ignore the phone.

I called this number back and got a recorded message " Thank you for calling SP Data Management - Customer Service". You can not leave a message because the user's mailbox is full." Then they went on to say "press 22X ro leave a message etc" This is some kind of telemarketing outfit. Same thing though, the phone rings 3 times and they never leave a message. Goes on for days. We are based in Southern Ontario.

have been getting calls from 416-488-8181, which my digging tells me theyre one of those buisness directory rip off companies who try and sell those 327 dollar phone directories you can find in libraries, anyway my guess is theyre connected to this... This is the first time i recieved a call from them (didnt pick up though) likely theyll call again like the rest of these people listed.

I called TD Trust at 1-866-781-2273. The operator said my number isn't listed with them and when I gave them the number, 1-416-915-3309, the operator said that TD is in no way affiliated with SP Data Management. Was that a cover up? Anyone else have the same problem? Where to go from here?....

Called here first time this evening. Don't answer from Unknown Numbers. My husband likes to answer them and just puts the phone down for a few minutes then hangs up. Telemarketers rarely call back when he does this.

I get these calls from 416-915-3309. It's always dead air and I stay on the line for about 30 seconds and whoever it is hangs up. I also have an account with TD -- maybe this is where they got my number from.

Oh my heck. 4-6 times a day. I started picking up and hanging up on them, but that didn't stop them.

Today I picked up and just kept saying "hello" and nothing else. The woman asked for me by name (but I just kept saying "hello").

Tomorrow, I'm having a whistle by the phone and I'll pick it up and blow as loud as possible.

I'm sick of these idiots. It's been going on for months now.

It's 8:00pm EST Toronto - this number called at 7:38pm. No message, albeit, I did not answer. Have seen the number on my phone previously. 411.ca'd it; came up as Call-Net as Provider and a "land line". I'll pay more attention henceforth and update here. T

This guy, whoever it is, did an ok job, probably using this number as a shield. My guess he's a regular on IRC, because he slipped up and I heard him typing before it just stopped. Normally it's quiet, then *pfff* as the line goes dead.

Ok here's what I just did. I called the TD 1-866-222-3456 and requested that they stop the calls. The guy said that the calls would stop, as well as their "special offers" like free ipods and digital cameras (yay). If this fails I will make another post here.

This is what I am going to do: 1. Send them an email to info@spdatallc.com and ask them nicely to stop frighen calling. 2. If they don't stop, I am going to file a complaint with the CRTC by going to http://www.crtc.gc.ca/RapidsCCM/register3.asp?lang=E I'm sick and tired of their stupid calls. If they call me once more I will pursue thii to the best of my ability. I'm one vengeful mofo with a lot of time on my hands. Will post follow up on this.

I have been receiving calls from this number on daily bases after new year. I called this number back today using a free internet phone and found out that they are from SP Data Management company(http://www.spdatallc.com). They are what-i-think a telemarketing company. Annoying!

If anyone ever wants to call a number back but remain anonymous, dial *67 wait for the prompt and dial as normal.
You number will show up as 'Private Caller' and is free of charge.

I also have been receiving calls from this #. I called it because I now have 3 charges on my long distance phone bill and nobody in this house knows who they are. All were at work wehn these calls were placed - one was 38mins at 7:10 am. I got the same on the voice mail John Sullivan and there is never anybody at the pick up extension. First person at the telephone company basically said "too bad". After seeing comments on this site I called back - the charges are being reversed and they are opening an fraud investigation. Hopefully this will help you guys and keep an eye on your phone bills.

Another call came in from 416-883-8951 2 hours later. I don't know anyone in the 416 area code.
