Asked Detailed,+/- $5000 income levels. Was conducting a survey about Bank Pin Safety and Practices for how Secure I feel about the new Chip&Pin Credit Cards. Very well conducted Survey. Agent Thanked me for time to complete survey. Declined to participate in Rewards program for Surveys(Was proably looking for clients for other focus groups). We Shall See.
this number has called my number 3 times, and I am curious of who it is.
Lengthy survey/questionnaire, largely regarding personal views and attitudes about Canada's First Nation People (FNP). I found the "survey" questions very slanted, and biased, seemingly to make the FNP sound like a disadvantaged lot. So, refused to answer many, but tried to find out who commissioned this "study". Sample question: "do you think that thefts, rapes and violent crimes have increased?" I asked why were these all considered together, and whether thefts included muggings or identity thefts and credit card scams, which cannot be lumped in with the others. The survey did not make that distinction. When I was asked whether I felt that FNP were being discriminated more, less or the same as "blacks" (others mentioned, indidually, included Asians, East Indians, Jews, etc., When I inquired what was meant by "blacks", whether that meant Afro-Americans, Somalians, Tamils (who may be classified as East Indian, but are often far darker than many Afro-Americans), Nigerians, or who, etc. "No, just all blacks", was the reply. So, you can see the bias of the questions and the potential for heavily biased and distorted "results".
My young son sat on the phone and listened to a ridiculous spiel and passed me the phone. They were still rambling and had no idea who they were even talking to. I hung up.

"Environics Research Group" tele-spamming surveys at 2140h ET (they also called at 1940h). Obviously, these people have no shame about calling so late, regardless of the fact they are not "selling" anything. Tele-pest refused my request to be put on their DNC list, telling me to call 416-488-5900
x271 and speak with a shift supervisor. That is illegal, per CRTC http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/INFO_SHT/T22.htm : "DO NOT CALL lists are to be maintained by the calling party and remain active for three years. If, during the call, the called party asks to be put on a do not call list, the do not call request must be processed without requiring the called party to do anything further. If the call is made by an agent calling on behalf of a client, the agent must ask the called party if it wishes to have its name on the agent
This call came in at 739 pm BC TIME and i suspect it was a telemarketing outfit. however it had to be voice automated as it did not leave a message on the answering machine.
if you want to really piss them off get a fax number from them then fax them 1000 sheets of do NOT CALL me again and dont put your number.. i did this once to a company and they called me and begged me to stop tying up their fax machine.. and i just said u are getting what u gave.
These guys just called me six minutes ago. I spoke to a pleasant enough fellow with a thick foreign accent. Said he worked for a survey company and they weren't selling naything. All I really understood was: He wanted to speak to someone 18yrs or older with the most recent birthday (me), what language did I speak/prefer to be interviewed in (English, and I think he said the latter), and what year was I born (I told him). He then thanked me for my time and hung up. Odd; definitely be watching this number from now on!
F*ckers! Called me at 9:45pm... can you believe it. I have an unlisted number too, how the hell???

They said they were from "Research House".
Doing a survey.
Found Research House on the internet at 1-800-701-3137
They claim they will remove phone number within 48 hours.
Yep, a survey company trying to figure out how they can steal money from hardworking unsuspecting folks. Put them on your blocked number list.
i answered (after 4 missed calls) with a F**K off...
we'll see if they call back
re: 'M.E.' - when you enter your number to (supposedly) be put on the "DO NOT CALL" list, it simply lets them know it's a real number with someone there. Learned this the hard way - instead of 48hrs., it took approx. 2 weeks and during that time, calls increased like ten-fold! Never enter your number!!
I called this number back, and one of the options given is to leave your 10 digit phone number with a request to be removed from their list. They say it will take effect within 48 hours.
Go away...especially on nights when hockey is on. Long live the Don not call list and put all these people out of business.
Called on a warm sunny Saturday morning....Die Hard you bastards......
Gotcha! My Whocalledus-driven telezapper gave this surveyer a fake "this number is disconnected" tone and message. Right-on!! :-)
Multiple calls at supper time.
This is the number that is supporting the "Values Survey" that comes on like one of those political things looking for "conservatives" maybe, but the survey is over 200 questions! And is designed more like a personality test. I am very suspicious of what info they are truly gathering here.
