ANOTHER from "Card Services" I have reported this (and all the other 407-xxx calls from this company.. they must use a spoofer or a rotation of numbers.. also used 407-000-1515 and 407-999-8888 in the last 3 weeks. I sent it to the do not call list.. but ive done that every time they have called for over a year. what else can be done.. im ready to drive down there to 'speak to them' in person.. though i think it would be more yelling.. If you press 9 to 'speak to a card specialist' someone is going to have to pretend to be interested so they can get to know who is really calling. if you tell them to remove your name/number they do nothing but hang up.

Received a call from the same number (using IP phones they can spoof any number so the number you try and call back is bogus). In this case it was a advertisement to lower credit dept.. A tactic that I use which is a half truth is to pick up, explain in a firm but professional tone that I am on the no-call list and I work for the US government in the OCC anti-fraud department and then (depending on them) something to the extent that I will be reporting to work in the morning and putting my "anti-fraud" team to work on shutting them down. For some reason they hang up fairly quickly and I hardly ever get repeat phone calls. Use the tactic, these guys for the most part are amateurs reading off a script or use intimidation. They know nothing about you unless you let on.

Disturbing Sexual Harassment Call!! On March 2, at 3:42 pm, I had a call recording asking if I wanted to lower my credit card interest rate. This same place has called several times before so instead of hanging up, I pushed 9 as requested to speak to someone. I asked the man where he was calling from and his name. He had a Middle Eastern accent and said his name was Ronnie Garcia, and he was from Mutual Consolidated Savings. I asked what # he was calling from and was given 800-943-3250. I asked him what state he was calling from and how the weather was there, he told me Detroit, and it had been raining. I live an hour from Detroit and knew that wasn’t true, and told him so. I then told him that this was some sort of a scam, why was he calling, we are on the Do Not Call List, and don’t want to be harassed by their calls anymore.
He got upset and said to me “Oh did you call me because you wanted to such my cock.” I got really upset and was trying to tell my husband what he was saying. I don’t have speaker phone, and in the meantime this man was going on and on. When I put the phone to my ear again he was saying something about “you want me to eat your pussy.”
I was very upset and asked to speak to his supervisor, who told me his name was Sam Raz. He asked me to repeat what the other man had said to me, so it could be recorded. When I asked why he replied, “so we can kick his ass.”
Our caller ID shows the call came from Orlando, Fl. and the # was 407-999-8888. When I called it back a recording says it is disconnected or no longer in service.
I am very upset about this terrible incident and I still am still traumatized by this experience. I am just in disbelief that this happened and can’t stop thinking about it. How many other women have experienced such verbal sexual harassment from MCS and are afraid, embarrassed or don’t know how to report it? Something should be done to stop this whover they are, they should be able to track them down to where the calls come from. Why doesn't the real Mutual Consolidated go after them?

A recorded message said they were calling with an important message regarding my credit cards, that there was no problem with my cards at this time but that they urgently needed to talk to me about lowering my interest rates to as low as 6.9% and to press 9 for assistance. The heavily accented man who answered when I did that asked me what credit cards I had. I asked him the name of his company, and he said VISA MASTERCARD SERVICES and something that sounded like "direct services from your bank." I asked where the company was headquartered and he said Orlando FL. I asked for the address of the company and he hung up.

This is most likely a PHISHING operation, to get confidential information from you for identity theft purposes. VERY dangerous to provide them any information.

The first part of the call was an automated message about lowering my credit card interest and to press 9. Then a live voice and she asked which credit card I wanted to lower my interest rate on, MasterCard or Visa. I asked her who she was calling, did she know who she was speaking to? She then hung up on me. It sounds like a scam to me.

Do not answer calls from unknown callers. They do not leave a message. I have gotten several calls from different numbers and am going to start reporting to this forum.
I am on the do not call list. How can we report to an agency that levies a charge on caller?

I just got a call from this place 5 minutes ago! but this time the number was 407-999-8888. I pressed 9 to get to a human and ask them to take me off of their list, and when i asked they said they would not or rather they could not. I have received many calls from this number. They want me to push a number for a live operator. today I got the women to tell me the company name. I asked what her service was, she answered then I explained I didn't need her services and to take me off the call list. when i asked if she understood she had hung up. Previous encounter with a live agent continually talked over me so she couldn't here me say take me off the call list. ANNOYING!

Recorded message regarding credit card and indicated to press '9' to start the process to lower the interest rate on the card and that this offer would soon expire. Did nothing... left line open and it eventually disconnected.
