Just another illegal robocall. Also clearly violation of DNC. DNC is just another government scam. The federal gov. is completely impotent to enforce DNC. It's a joke.
no clue - never answer names or numbers I don't know. Caller ID says Yellow Book, but phishers and others have ways of spoofing what we see, and that's why I don't answer!
Yet another damn Robo-Dialer.
Message on answering machine asking the machine to push buttons 1 or 2 to answer whether it received the new Yellow Book! "Sorry, that was not a valid response" and "Sorry, I could not understand your call"
Sorry, Yellow Book, my machine does not possess that function!
no idea since they are unprofessional & don't leave a message!
Caller ID says Omaha NE....

Thanks very much to fellow commenter "david 2010-02-10 23:42:24 UTC" for his informative post. I received a call from 402-220-0356 at my home/office number (landline) today and decided to check this website.

Survey to see if you received your Yellow Book or to order one
It is a call from Yellow Book to confirm if you got one
got a call just now and i was offered more 'books', maybe 'yellow books' as the caller id said. phishing scam, i think
Yes, got another darn call but didn't answer it, message was about Yellow Book, what good it the Do Not Call List? Does the call list ever work?
Did not answer recorded message;
This is Yellow Book, calling to confirm you received your copy of yellow book, press 1 for yes, 2 for no!

It's just Yellow Book with a recorded message asking if we received the phone books they dropped in our yard.
I received a phone today from 402-220-0356 today while I was on the phone-My Call waiting ID picked up the caller when I didn't answer. The caller left a message. The message stated they were calling from Yellow Book, & they wanted to know if I had received my Yellow Book. The message told me to call 888-492-8721
. I called it & after a few minutes was connected to a live CSR who told me she was with Yellow Book in an office based out of Chicago, IL. She wanted to know if I had received my Yellow Book, that she claimed was the same as my ATT Yellow Pages...I told her I had not requested any Yellow Books, & the ones I had were current. Then she wanted to know if I wanted to order one, & I told her no. The message talked about a Publishers book???
A recorded message from Yellowbook confirming receipt of our yellow phone directory from Paradise Pages (HI). I hit yes, and no for more directories. Personally I think 2 directories for a small state is more than enough, but these phonebook publishers are only interested in selling ads to make money; not accurate information or sparing the environment by printing fewer books.

yet another annoying call - no message. Gah!
Getting calls from this number. I answer and no one is there. What good is the Do Not call List?
It is to confirm that you received a copy of their Yellow Book Directory. They're in competition with AT@T/Bell. I always throw the books away because they're not comprehensive... they're crap.
This is a company calling for Yellow Book who issues phone directories. I listened the second time I got their call. It is a recording asking 1)if you've received your free directory and 2)if you want more. You can receive up to 5 freebies.
I didn't answer and did a reverse look up
They called and wanted to know if I rec'd my phone book....weird
Called to verify I received the phone book.
Looking at everyone elses comments, it looks as though another big time scam is on the horizon. Beware everybody !!!!!
Recorded message requesting me to call a sales number.

First part of message (on voice mail) was cut off or missing. Said someone's outstanding product titles included (in a speech-to-text voice) "reprise 2006 ... snowangels 2008" needing to be returned to Blockbuster. I'll check with my son, but based on reports here I doubt its veracity.
The alleged 'further information' number provided rings in to a phone sex service so beware.

called to confirm the Yellow Book. Was tossed on our porch. Never heard of this one.
and another thing, why would an area code from Nebraska call me (Texas) to confirm my order of a phone book,I never ordered?
received a call,a recorded message asking for confirmation that I received the items I ordered.Wanted my ph# and address to be correct.I never have bought anything and the company claims it is from Yellow Book..The only thing I got from Yellow Book was a phonebook thrown on my steps a few weeks ago.I think it is a phishing scam of some sort.
