August 2003 when I got my uncirculated fax number I entered my fax number in the list. Recently I have been getting this number show up on my caller id but no fax. After reading all these past entries, thank god I use my cell phone for voice calls, and the other only for faxes.

I am sooooooooo tired of these people calling. I have also had the same problem when answering the phone they hang up.If they don't stop calling after i have pressed one to have me number removed i am going to contact our local news station who helps with these types of problems. I think everyone should do the same.

I've pressed 1 to not to placed on the Do Not Call List and no luck.

Here is another phone number for the company: 386-258-2400. I called this number and actually spoke to a person who said she'll put me on the list and I won't be called again. I guess we'll see...

They are stating they are called ESM and claiming to be calling on behalf on my cable or highspeed internet provider and wanting to know if I would like to be added to their call list. Anybody know how to make them stop?

I ignored this call since I didn't recognize the number on my cell phone. From what I've read it could be Verizon soliciting for their FIOS service which I have never had or Time Warner as we have that here in Florida.

I got the same results as Michael. I pressed "1" and entered my phone number to be removed from their calling list. Hopefully it will put a stop to their annoying calls.

Interesting, because we saw this number on our caller ID last night...and we do NOT have Comcast in this area of Kentucky, nor do we have Time Warner. We DO have Insight and I wonder if its' them. Which is interesting, because I think we buy everything they've GOT, phone, cable and Broadband......

I have been getting calls from Evergreen Sales for weeks, several times a week. The number on my machine says 386-236-1950 which is different from the other's reports. I would like to get rid of them but don't want to answer their phone calls or call them back. I AM ON the Do not call lists. They are VERY annoying.

My experience was similar to Shannon's and Alex's, I have Time Warner Cable. The call was offering a $5/month 30-day evaluation upgrade to their "Turbo" package, a speed upgrade essentially (which now supposedly they're up to 15 Meg's a sec. pretty fast). Just answer and tell them you're not interested (they will keep blabbing on, then I just say something like "look you silly bastard I just said I wasn't interested"), that should get them off your back for awhile. They have called numerous times, it's probably best to answer and tell them NO THANKS!

I get a call from this number on my cell phone twice a day, and they promptly hang up as soon as I answer the phone. When I call back the number, I get an automated message saying:

"You are reached ESM, we called you today on behalf of your internet, cable, or digital phone provider, to be removed from our calling list, please press 1"

That's it, no other options, just one.

I have TWC, and when I checked thier privacy statement, they said they reserve the right to call me on an phone number I list with them for contact, and to have outside marketing services call me as well, even if it is on the national do-not-call list.

Basically it's your beloved cable provider farming out thier marketing department to Evergreen Sales, who are in turn doing a perfectly lousy job of selling anything.

They initially (ambiguously) claimed to be Time Warner until I mentioned Evergreen Sales, at which point the rep clarified his employer as Evergreen Sales. The call was offering a $5/month 30-day evaluation upgrade to their "Turbo" package, a speed upgrade essentially.

The rep also provided this number as one I could call with questions - 866-408-2225. That number is Time Warner's "Action Line", which I have used in the past and is legitimate.

It seems this is a legitimate marketing firm that is being used by various telecoms. That being said, I received three calls from this number prior to my conversation today which were dropped as soon as I answered. All were to my cell phone, which is what I have listed with Time Warner.

BOTTOM LINE - If you're being called by this number, your first course of action should be reviewing your Service/Privacy Agreement with your ISP (Comcast, Verizon, Charter, etc.) and verifying their policies on providing your contact information to outsourced/contracted marketing firms. If you can determine that you didn't sign away your privacy when you signed up for Internet service, I recommend contacting your ISP directly.

This company called me claiming to be related to Charter Communications who is my cable provider however when I asked who he said he was calling for again since the caller id said evergreen sales, he stuttered and the call was dropped but this was only after he claimed i had switched services and he was wanting to know why. seeing how i didnt switch I checked with Charter Communications who claim they are not related to them in any way
