Got a call. Either some GE oufit, or ISI Alarms. When I talked to one of the GE reps, they outsource to ISI Alarms. They front for Monitronics as the monitoring company. I'd go after ISI Alarms, as they seem to be the main racketeer here. Pressed 1 to talk to a rep, but mailbox was full.

If you get a call from them, DO NOT HANG UP. Yes, this sounds counter-intuitive, but hanging up benefits them. Press 1 for a person. Be nice to them. Talk to them. Ask questions. Keep them on the line for as long as possible. While they are talking to you, they aren't bothering or selling to anyone else. Without being overly aggressive, get as much info about them as you can. But don't be angry, just keep them talking as long as you can. It may cost them a sale. Maybe two. This is a numbers game, and by keeping them on the line with bad leads, we put the numbers in our favor. If enough people do this, it will cost them enough in sales it will bankrupt them. This is how to kill these people off. I've had telemarketers yell at me when they realize what I'm doing, since they know what it costs them, so I know they don't want a bunch of people doing this.

Like anyone would actually answer a phone call that the caller ID says is a fraudulent call?

It turns out this telephone number was discontinued and these calls are spoofed! The easiest way is to block this phone number.

Recorded message telling me the FBI reports burglaries in my neighborhood and offering a free burglary alarm system. Asks me to press 1 to hear more and press 2 to take my name off their list however I have received literally dozens of identical calls with same recorded message over a period of months despite the fact that I have repeatedly asked to have my number removed from their call list. I continue to get calls - sometimes more than once in the same day. I have not kept records on prior calls but will start doing so.

After researching this to get the phone calls to stop, 347-502-2570 to -2574, -2577, -2578 and -2580 are all spoofed (unknown caller has the caller ID misleading with these phone numbers). Unfortunately, this means they can't be traced to figure out who it is calling. So, I blocked these phone numbers.
