. When you call that #, they want you to put in your social security number and credit card number. Seems like a scam to me, though the wording they use at the front of the call seems legitimate. If JC Penny has something important to say - they can email it or allow you to talk to an operator, but they don't allow for that option.

They were calling my work I called it back, and talked to the rep. When he answered he asked me my name. I never give any information out over the phone so I told him I was the manager. He then told me he was looking for a Linda K. I told him there was no Linda, he said thanks "Sarah" and hung up. Hm......did I slip up and give him my name, or has he been cold calling my employees, and getting information. Tellamarketers, and scam artists do it all the time. Call a business, ask if they can talk to the manager, when they can't get the managers name. Call back later with a first name, and get the last, call again later with the managers name, and ask to confirm information on your business license. I don't think these guys are scamers, but they still piss me off. Quit Calling my business.

This number has called me four times in three days. I finally asnwered and they asked for me and when i asked what they wanted a guy identified himself as Steve a
nd just said it was a personal business call. He wouldnt specify what he wanted so I hung up.
I receive phone calls from this # from 8:15am - 8:00pm I have answered it 3 times and the voice says," Please hold on the line for our next available attendant." This is very disrupting and annoying and I want it to stop.
They call 5 x's a day and don't leave a message and I don't answer unknown or unrecognized numbers... Not to mention only 5 people have my number and I'm registered on the Do Not Call List... But what company seriously calls 3 times already on a Sunday??? Rude!
Calls 4 times a day, never leaves a message, finally answered and they wanted a payment from a name similar to ours. Lame.
I hope they don't call any more since they have the wrong number!

Called twice on a sunday morning 15 mins apart and didn't leave a message. What kind of company calls on a sunday morning?
I paid my J.C.Penny off but they say the final payment was late and I owe them like $39.
I pay electronically and the payment was sent on the same day every month and was never late until it was the final payment. I told them to take a flying leap and sent them a letter IF it shows up on my credit report I will sue them. I can prove for 33 months the payment was sent on the same date and was never late and it was sent 12 days prior to the due date so I know it was there on time. They keep calling me and my attorney has me documenting every call because they are harrassing me and we will be in a Jury trial. I will never do business with Penny's again.
I receive many calls per day from 330-433-5966 and 678-518-2062
I have no idea who is calling my cell as I do not answer unknown callers. The caller from that number has called 2 or 3 times and never leave a message.

. It's JC Penney Credit. Here's the issue... I do NOT have a JCP card!!! When you call the number you can't get anywhere without an account number so I made one up so I could get into the system. They looked up my phone number and even had my name but assure me there is no card in my name even though they told me that "this is a collection call". They supposedly took me off the list...we'll see.
GE Money on caller ID. Repeated calls for a Paul somebody or other. We do not know who this is and have repeatedly asked them NOT to call anymore. Three weeks later, they still call several times a day...from 7am until around 9pm. I spoke with a supervisor who explained that he'd TRY and get our number removed from the file but it was a complicated process. What a crock - they are the ones with the messed up file - why should that be my problem!
Called over and over. Someone with foreign accentsaid JC Penney account overdue. Told them I paid online but was having a problem with THEIR web site. She had no answer for that in her script and just told me to give my bank account number over the phone, said no way, she called me and I do not give that information. Hung up on her.

I am Disabled and stuck at home to be harassed by these jerks! My mother in law works for a Penney's store - she has a store card and she is apparently delinquent on her account. She works a regular day job also, so I get stuck with the harassing phone calls routed through India. They start at 8 in the morning EVERY DAY. We have been called 2 to 10 times a day for the past 3 or more weeks. I have told them everyday that she works ALL DAY (leaves before 8 AM) and then goes to her other job (Penney's) and does not get home until after 9 PM! I have written the number down and given it to her - I have repeatedly asked her to make a payment while she's at work. The calls continue. Today I told the guy that called if his workplace called our house again today I would begin Harassment charges. He kept arguing with me that it was a personal matter for my mother in law and they would continue to call.
