computer generated voice gave a message said that our account with cullman savings bank had been compromised and that I would need to press 1 to speak with a customer service representative. did not press 1 and it hung up. I do not have any acct with this bank. Can someone not report these people and have them locked up for fraud and attempted ID theft?

This is an automated call trying to harvest debit card account numbers, for the intent of committing identity fraud. The call uses a computer generated voice. And if it's coming from Global Crossing, it's probably an internet style call. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!

They said our credit card may have been compromised. I don't have a credit card with them.

Whoever they are... it was a recording that called our home phone number...said they were calling from some credit card agency to report my cc may have been tampered with, when stated they were putting me through their security department, I got a bit suspicious and hung up, called my own bank and reported this call. I was told the bank would never have anyone else call, and was warned not to ever give out personal information to anyone I don't know... beside if the bank were to call, they would identify themself as the bank, and they don't make calls... so, just a warning... Be careful!!!
