Sounds like this bunch practices rather desperate skip tracing. You don't need a valid debt to be chased for one, or to be pestered into helping some collector find the alleged debtor.
If you are receiving repeated, misdirected, and/or abusive calls from a third party debt collector, you may find relief in the provisions of the FDCPA, the Federal law which regulates collector behavior and provides you simple tools for your own defense. It grants you control of how you are contacted, and collectors can be sued for their crimes. Learn your rights and first response tactics at FTC-dot-gov. See also your state laws for additional support.

I just a call from this number, and they asked if I was (me, by first name). I asked who is calling, and the answer was "Celina". I then asked what was the purpose of her call and she just again asked for me. I didn't play her game and told her good bye. I don't have any debts, so I don't need to receive calls from Debt Collectors!

They call pretending to be someone who knows you. One of them said they met the person they were looking for at a party. ROFL. First, that person is severely disabled and does not go to parties and secondly, you knowing someone else does not explain how you got my number. They tried to play it cool but couldn't pronounce my sisters name and even asked for my dead grandmother's phone number. I have told multiple callers to stop calling me, I don't have what they are looking for, but they will not stop calling. I have been logging the event as well as when I tell them not to call my number. I will get a lawyer and sue for harrasment if this continues. I am not their target, so they have no right to call me after I tell them not to.

This is a student loan collection agency called Account Control Technology. They will call everyone they can find to try to get a hold of you. They even called my 89 year old grandmother!
I suspect collections. They left a message. I didnt pick up. Said they wanted me(called me by name) to call them back because a certain person used me as a "reference". I know this is a lie because the person they are referring to is my husband's ex-wife! I know she owes a student loan and another company previously called me with the same lie saying they wanted to ask me questions about her for a "loan application". They were suprised when I told them she is my husband's ex-wife. I suspect this company has no idea either.
