I worked for CTI and lasted about a month before becoming so disgusted that
I couldn't take it anymore. I am ashamed that I didn't leave after the first day when I realized that everything about this company is phony. I rationalized that since the job market was so bad and the economy was so horrible that I would just stick it out until I got a better job. After a month though I had to get out. Everyone there uses fake names. That should be a HUGE red flag. Besides actors, how many people use fake names in their jobs? They recycle the same leads over, and over, and over again. And they pound people so hard over the phone it's not even funny. It's a total boiler room, hard sell kind of company. The funny thing is that Kevin Symons
is actually a pretty nice guy and seems like a decent, family kind of guy. But what he is doing is really scummy and sleazy and he knows it. His brother Steve Symons is the classic scam artist/hustler who drives fancy cars and has a temper like you can't believe. All the background stories they use about their experience as traders,
etc... are all lies. One named Jay (don't remember his fake name) is about a 25 year old guy who tells this elaborate lie about how he is in his 50's and worked for many years on the floor of exchange and has grandchildren, etc... I've worked many jobs but this is the only one where I was told to use a fake name, and this is the only one I've ever worked at that has soooooooooo many complaints. There office is at 3990 Westerly in Newport Beach, CA upstairs, I forgot what suite number. very close to the John Wayne Airport.

I talked with "Brian Winters" and "Tom Austin" from 949-752-2980 and 949-752-2982 who seemed to be from the same shady group. When Tom gave me his callback number, he said to call 877-205-1445. They claimed to be part of "CTI Group" and showed me a government website (sos.ca.gov) that showed the business as legitimate. Then they took me to the autofuturestrading.com site, gave me a password, showed me their purported results. They also wanted me to look at foremosttrading.com (which has a very similar logo to elitetrader.com, an online trader's forum, and a very stripped down website for a company claiming to have been in business for 30 years, although BBB shows their incorporation date as February 2004).

Anyway, after several hours of reading I came up with: Cooper Trading points to autofuturestrading.com as their website, but has a different address as on the website's contact me page (per Better Business Bureau). They have a very similar sales pitch ($6000 for the system, money back guarantee, foremost trading as the broker) as Luxman Trading Concepts (detailed on BBB's site) and a BAD record for honoring their written money back guarantee, meaning you'll never see your $6000 again once you fork it over.

By the way, I'm a high school math teacher and so I decided to run the numbers. If you earned on your meager $2500 investment what they claimed to me (an average of 15% per month) and left it to grow in your account for just 5 years, you'd have 9.5 million dollars. In 10 years, you'd have over 41 BILLION dollars. (Obviously there are limits to the commodities market that make this impossible, but you get the picture.) Ask yourself: would you really give that system away for $6000 to just anyone, especially through a telemarketing agency? Think people.

This might be a "boiler room" operation. If you answer the phone and speak with them, the original caller will ask if you are interested in a "passive return or strong compounding return." The original caller will pass you along to someone who has more authority/knowledge or .... possibly who is simply a better "closer," to reel in the "fish." They are only interested in you if you have at least $10,000 to invest in a "proprietary program" (black box software). The automated system would be "licensed to you for 18 years" and it will automatically (presumably with artificial intelligence of a sort) trade for you in the S&P 500 future indexes. They say it only makes 4 to 6 trades per month and will give you an income of $525 per month on a $10,000 investment. That would be $6,300 per year, but the annual profit figure they toss at you is that you will make about $12,800 per month. They call their company "CTI".

Regarding my previous post "Andy Luxman" (an online pseudonym) - The 323 area codes are not calling me anymore-I suspect they have a call center with up to 50 phone lines- which means you could be called from many 323 area code #s from the same people. They were (so far) true to their word about removing my number from their calling list. I have read a few blogs of people filing complaints with the CFTC and NFA and other regulatory agencies against this company's calling practices and possibly investment claims.

As far as my previous "Scam" posting about this Luxman Trading Concepts, That may be a little misworded by using "Scam" and this is only MY personal opinion because I know quite a few people in the trading and investment business and they all laugh when I tell them someone called claiming they can get you a 7% per month return. We all learned from Bernie Madoff. If you check out the Luxman Trading Concepts website, you will clearly see a disclaimer that shows they can not guarantee investment results and that you are definitely at risk of losing money- because nobody can predict the trading future. Sure money can be made- but again- If I had a system that made that kind of money- I would keep it to myself.

As far as who these phone numbers are listed to- I did extensive investigating and it seems they are all listed to the same company- coming up as "Trading" with no address I could find, accept a few that came up owned by "M Vasquez" - who's address I won't publish- you can easily find that info yourself. I wonder if that is the same M Vasquez that people have been talking about on various trading websites, one of which says "One thing about this co is one of the director is Mitchell Vazquez who runs Global Capital Investment LLC, which has been shut down by CFTC/NFA. Could this company be a scam?" - you can read the blog here:

As far as who these phone numbers are listed to- I did extensive investigating and it seems they are all listed to the same company- coming up as "Trading" with no address I could find, accept a few that came up owned by "M Vasquez" - who's address I won't publish- you can easily find that info yourself. I wonder if that is the same M Vasquez that people have been talking about on various trading websites, one of which says "One thing about this co is one of the director is Mitchell Vazquez who runs Global Capital Investment LLC, which has been shut down by CFTC/NFA. Could this company be a scam?" - you can read the blog here:

Regarding my previous post "Alan Gardner" (an online pseudonym) - The 323 area codes are not calling me anymore-I suspect they have a call center with up to 50 phone lines- which means you could be called from many 323 area code #s from the same people.

Luxman Trading Concepts is a complete scam. They say they have a trading system that generates 7% profit every month. Well if this was true- why would they call me or you or anyone else? They would keep all the money for themselves. When I pressed the sales guy, "Oscar Stone" to send me proof that he was personally invested and actually making 7% (i.e. a monthly brokerage statement) - he hung up on me. This same are code and # starting with (323)545-.... calls multiple times per day. "Andy Luxman" guy with New York accent- the supposed owner said he would have our number removed- but it has not been. To remove # you might try 866-924-3617

This person keeps calling my cell repeatedly, insisting that I am somebody else. I have had this number for 3 years, and it is getting to the point of harrassment.
