People - do NOT answer the phone if you don't know the number calling you. They spoof local numbers all the time to make it appear as if it might be someone locally that you know. Don't answer the phone and do not call them back!

Once again, do NOT call them back for any reason, even if it is not you or if they have the wrong person, as they will never leave you alone.

File a complaint with the Attorney General and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Also complain to the Dept. of Educ. If enough people complain, they will be shut down as other collection agencies have been who engage in unscrupulous practices.

This company calls me every other day and says I owe money for some student loan that I have never had. I have a student loan yes, but not with them and are up to date and lower than $1k. Then they called my work phone asking for me. Look, I work for a data agency and I know the rules about telemarketing and it has changed as of oct 16th 2013. It is a $1500 fine from the FCC each offense.

No one ever says anything. They're calling on my cell phone and I never give that number to businesses.

This number calls me multiple times a day, every day, morning and night. I have never had a student loan, and I do not owe any money. They are very harassing, abusive, and threatening. I have told them I am on the Do Not Call Registry. They say that is a joke, and they continue calling.

This company has relentlessly called me to speak with someone who lived here 15 years ago! I ask them to not call every time..
