Woman did not identify company but asked for my husband by name. When I asked to take a message she said it was to extend our car warranty for a vehicle she correctly identified... but is not in my husbands name but mine. When I corrected her she hung up. Since my number is listed with the National Do Not Call List, I assume this is why she hung up?? I did write the number down with the time called and will track it for future contact to sue them if necessary!! Another number associated with them is 323-372-6392
. I did not bother with calling back, but immediately looked them up on the internet. They have several phone numbers that are identified with this scam. So I assume they are NOT a LEGIT company and just a scam facility looking to either steal your identity or your money!! BEWARE!!
National Auto Division - CALL THEM TO COMPLAIN!
I received the same calls and the same rude, offensive behavior. I did a little digging based upon what some of the posts here and called National Auto Division in New Jersey at 800.430.4428 then pressed 0 for the operator. I spoke with George (I am withholding his last name) and told him what was happening. He apologized and took my phone number and promised to remove my number within 20 minutes. I went on to inform him of the goings on in Palmdale, CA and of the postings on this web site of abuse and how angry people are. He said he would look into it. I have no idea if he is sincere he is. If the calls persist I will report it to this site.
been calling every day for the last week, multiple times, each with no response.
I answer, there is no one there
Calls and hangs up 4-6 times a week. calls sometimes and tries to sell extended warranty we repeatedly tell them we don't want. Already tried their do not call list.
They have been calling at least once a day. Same story as everybody else is giving. I say "hello," they hang up. I've tried to call back and get a busy signal.
Why do they hang up? What's their point?

When I get to be President of the world I will make it illegal to telemarket.Every phone would have a device that will blow their ear off of the caller if the callee wants to press a button.Ahhhhh a perfect world indeed!
This number constantly calls my home. No one answers and then when I try to return call, I get a busy signal. They call at least once a day, sometimes more. It is very annoying. All that shows up on my caller ID is NAD and the number 323-372-6392.

They pretend they are the authentic warranty seller (in my case VW). However, when you start to question them they come on heavy demanding a credit card and try to scare you "god fobid you have a problem with your car". When that fails they start cursing you out "Whatever bitch". They definitly need reported.
National Auto Division trying to sell worthless vehicle warantee
A telemarketer obviously with no life and no real job, tried to tell me that my warranty was expired on a car that i have never owned. When I started to ask questions the stupid lady was quick to hang up the phone. These people need to be reported to the BBB.
call 1-2 times/day; finally answered and they asked for a person who didn't even live here; they then h/u
They call 2-3 times each day and when I answer they hang up. I attempted to call back and the number is always busy.

Rec' call from NAD 9/14/09 @ 5:02pm. Middle aged man identified himself as John O'Harra or O'Marra. Asked about an extended warranty on our 2006 Mazda Tribute. We had an extended warranty but it was on our 2002 Mazda Tribute. He then asked what the milage was and quoted me a ridiculous amount to have another extended warranty. He became very rude, belligerant, and sarcastic. Rec' another call from NAD 9/16 @ 5:49pm which showed up on call ID. Attempted to contact NAD, but unable to. "They" do not want bo be contacted. It appears that this is a scam and has happened to many people.
I have received so many calls from this "company". Two just today! So I called back and hung up on them. They called me back about 10 mins later. The guy wanted to know my name "so he could call me by my name and be more personable". I said "you can call me Ma'am". He said "That makes you sound old and from your voice you don't sound old at all". Well he went on to tell me he's from the New Jersey Shore and his accent gets him all the girls! Well not this one! He finally got to the point and wanted to sell me an extended warranty for my Van. I told him my Van is too old for that and he said "Well I'll let you go Ma'am and I will take you off my call list". We will see if he does.
I RETURNED CALL AND RECEIVED A MESSAGE THAT NUMBER WAS DISCONNECTED
Here is a MUCH better view of where the calls are supposedly coming from. Anyone from LA that can recognize the building or the area ??
