I do not have any debts. If this is a debt collector, they have a seriously wrong number.

Calling for a person who does not live at this number and never has. They are related to my spouse. 3 days in a row. First 2 times they garbled the name of who they were looking for as well as their name. The rest of the message was crystal clear.
You are the biggest golden spoon baby I have ever read. Yes, golden spoon person, you probably have your own personal nanny that it is still trying to potty train you even though you are at least 26. Your personal assistant only allows you a $26k stipend a month from daddy. Your free time is spent belittling people in not great circumstances. My hope is that you lose your job, your stipend, your nanny, and your personal assistant and then you can look at yourself and know what a loser really is. My suggestion is to try and pick people up when they are down and not keep kicking and punching them when the are defenseless. You sir or madam are the real loser.
pay your bills2 Aug 12th, 2009
the phone tricks these people use is harrasment. collect dates and times called and any times and dates for neighbors. call the police and file a charge of harrasment. if it is across state lines it might be federal. not sure about that. then you can get a judge order to stop the calls.
I got a call today and answer the phone, I asked what this was about and he refused to say unless I admited i was so and so. I made mention that i dont answer questions unless I know from who and why. I told him to stop calling and he said no that he would keep calling til I talked to him. he tried calling back 4 more times but i hung up right away. so far he has not called back for over an hour.
the story continues ....

I DONT EVEN WORK FOR THIS COMPANY..BUT THOUGHT THAT I SHOULD SAY THIS ON BEHALF OF ALL COLLECTION AGENCIES.
PAY YOUR BILLS Jul 31st, 2009
Was terminated from my job in Los Angeles on 3/6/09. Am collecting unemployment which is my only source of income. Wrote letters to AMEX trying to settle my debt but AMEX turned me over to CG Services who REFUSED to negotiate. CG wanted the money in full even though AMEX tacked on 30% interest for months and months on the money I owed them (which was for out-of-pocket medical expenses). The GC "counselor" told my accountant who was on the calls with me trying to negotiate with her, she said I was a liar; that my unemployment could more than pay them off and that I had "secret" money hidden. She acknowledged that all of my charges were for medical but felt I was lying about the amount of money I could pay them. BUT THE BEST PART IS THE DEFRAUD ISSUE: She said I should reactivite a dormant FIA credit card, pay off AMEX, then make payments on FIA and when I default on that credit card negotiate with BofA as they would take .10cents on the dollar. I cried that is fraud and she disagreed. She said BofA negotiates all the time. When I asked her why she would not settle with me she refused to give me an answer. I am now filing for bankruptcy in hopes of stopping her harassing phone calls.

Called daily 5 times for my daughter. I told them that she did not live here, I would give her the message. After a month I asked that they please refrain from calling. This worked for 1 week. They started calling again and I asked them to not call back or I would file a police report. My daughter has not lived in my house in 20 years.
In speaking with my daughter we know what this is about, when I ask the caller, they misrepresent themselves. Not once have they told me why they are calling but say it is in regards to her employer.
These people called me and wanted all kinds of personal information over the phone. I refused to give it to them and told them I would consider working with them if they sent me something in writing. They refused.
nasty bastard called...rude... threatening... said he would harass my neighbor and shame me
In defense of CG Services in Missouri...I owe AMEX around $30k which ended up at this collection agency. If it had not been for Ben Coleman, I would not have been able to get my home refinanced. He has been most professional and personable! He set me up with homelendingpros.com and the rest is history now. What pisses me off is that AMEX would NOT accept a settlement amount which would have enabled me to replace the roof on my home with a payout of the refi. I will NEVER do business with AMEX again! AMEX are total assholes who will NOT deal with you after it's gone to a collection agency. They deserve to go the way of so many other financial institutions in our failing economy!

Got 2 calls from this number in the last week, both times asking for my DAD and said it was an urgent business matter. WTF? These folks are crooked. Told them to take us off their list, which they said "we don't have a list" and we hung up. Of course, calling back gets a BUSY signal.
The Caller ID said it was "Operations Div", how cute.

They called my cell phone looking for my ex wife who I have been divorced from for 14 years! I have no idea how they got my phone number but I do not like it.
314-576-3852 does not belong to GCS. GC Services or JC Services should not be confused with GCS.
GCS is a teleservices company which calls primarily on behalf of local cable TV companies.
We are not a collections company.
A man asked to me to deliver a message to a neighbor down the street (provided their address). When asked who the caller was representing and what this was in reference to, they became indignant and would not provide any info about who he was or why he was calling. He became more pressing and somehwat rude when I declined to become involved in whatever the personal or other business was between he and the neighbor. I finally hung up.
The caller left a voice mail saying her name, threatened "action" will be taken, BUT DID NOT STATE WHERE SHE WAS CALLING FROM.
Caller left message for both my husband and me, urgent to call back today by 5 pm Central-called twice within a couple of minutes. We were out of town and we don't have any card accounts together, just our home mortgage, which can't be late, it is automatically paid from checking. I don't want to call them back after reading the comments below.
Someone called from this number & asked for my ex-husband by name & his current wife by name. I said they weren't here. When I asked who was calling, they hung up. Someone called from a local number today & asked for my ex-husband by name. When I said he wasn't here, she asked if I knew him & I told her no, because I figure it is an identy theft thing or something. Then she said my current husband's name & said my ex husband used him as a reference. I know this is some type of scam & really don't know what to do about it.
These people called me about my ex brother-in-law and said he had applied for a loan and put my address and phone number down for his residence. I know this not to be true because my sister has been divorce from him for over a year. Looks as though these people will go to the extreme of lie's to get information. Seems there should be law against this.....I am reporting to the Government site for harrassment. I urge all to do this if you are not the debtor.
Guy named Wayne Bass left me a message saying it was not a sales call, but an extremely important matter of business for my husband and I. Not calling back.
I have received calls from these people repeatedly, even though I am paying on the account. I recently paid the account off completely, as a matter of fact I overpaid by about $10 to cover interest charges, and they are still calling! I have not called them back once, but instead continued to make regular payments. My account is not showing in collections on my credit report either. In my case, it was not that I was not paying my monthly statement, but instead AmEx decided to close my account due to my credit score and demanded payment in full for the balance owed. I will never have another AMEX card, by my choice, thanks to these calls and their unprofessional attitude.
This is the Collection Service that American Express utilized to harass me after AMEX declined to work with my Debt Management Service. Very threatning calls and messages left on Voice mail
This is the Collection agency American Express sent my account to after they denied a proposal to work with my debt management company.
I ceveived a call from the above #; we did not recognize caller. The caller I.D. stated "Missouri"
EVERYONE RUNS INTO PROPLEMS IF WE WERE NOT CONSUMERS.WE WOULD NOT HAVE COLLECTION JOBS WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO WORK. SO THANK YOU TO THE DEBTORS OF THE WORLD FOR HELPING ME PAY MY BILLS AND HELP SUPPORT MY FAMILY.
I REALIZE THERE ARE ALL KINDS OF COLLECTORS BUT NOT ALL OF US ARE ASSHOLES!!!!! IF A DEBTOR WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO CALL YOU @WORK OR FAMILYS THAT IS THE ONLY WAY YOU PEOPLE ANSWER,IS TO PISS YOU OFF!!! 1ST YOU DO NOT WANT TO ANSWER THE PHONE BECAUSE YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO IS CALLING BUT IF YOU KNEW WHO WAS CALLING YOU WOULD NOT ANSWER IT ANYWAY!!! MY FAVORITE IS SCREENING YOUR OWN CALLS "THEY WILL NOT CALL BACK IF YOU DON'T TELL ME WHAT ITS ABOUT...." YOUR NOT CALLING ANYWAY. IF WE LEAVE A MESSAGE WITH YOUR MOM WELL YOU WOULD BE PISSED OFF IF WE TELL YOUR MOM YOU ARE NOT PAYING YOUR BILLS ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE AFFECTING HER CREDIT. LAST BUT NOT LEAST QUIT TEACHING YOUR KIDS TO BE LIARS.YOUR FIVE YEAR OLD SAYS YOUR NOT THERE....COME ON NOW IF WE ARE THE BAD PEOPLE THEN WHY IS IT YOU THAT ARE TEACHING YOUR KIDS BAD HABBITS.
I WORK @GC AND ALTHOUGH I DO NOT AGREE WITH EVERYONE THAT I WORK WITH TACTICS I AM NOT ONE OF THOSE COLLECTOR'S.
QUIT GOWING THROUGH THE DEBT SOLUTION PLACES AND PAY YOUR BILLS YOURSELF THEY ARE GETTING YOU IN DEEPER SHIT THAN WHAT YOU ARE ALREADY IN.
Anyone got the home phone number of any of these guys, if they can find ours, there must be a way to find theirs ?
I received a call from (314) 576-3852 asking for my ex-husband and wanted to know if I knew how to contact him. I told him no and jokingly said, "what does he owe you money?" He hung up when I said that. I called back and found that indeed it was a collection agencya and told them to not call me again. I am concerned and curious as how this company was able to get my cell phone number as it is not listed.
home number caller ID showed they are calling twice a day during the week and once a day on weekends. Called husband's work number for days. would not leave message until today. "Jennifer" left number to call, when pushed by receptionist about what it was about was told "possible law suit" Husband called. It is GCS, American Express uses them to collect debts. Very professional, nice. Said if he would just call and talk to her they would try to work something out to keep our account from going into complete default. We will be working with her to make payment arrangements.
Some guy named Mike Campbell keeps calling without leaving a message. He just says to return the phone call. He even went as far as calling my parents and telling my mother that she should be concerned about me. He also told her that if she doesn't get me to call him that he will be putting papers on an attorney's desk on Monday. No, by law he is not allowed to give out personal information. I will be contacting an attorney about this on Monday. LOSERS!
Collector: "How much can you afford to pay per month on this $4000 debt?"
Me: "I can afford to pay $300 per month"
Collector: "Can you make it $400?"
Me: "Sure I guess."
Collector: "I just spoke with my supervisor and in order to start you payment agreement we will need a down payment of $1300 and your monthly repay amount will be 432.75"
Me: "What? I just told you I can only afford $400 down and I do not have $1300 laying around"
Collector: "Sir, this is unacceptable. You did this, and YOU need to take responsibility for you actions"
Me: "I just offered you $400 per month. My debt will be paid in less than a year"
Collector (literally yelling at the top of his lungs "I just told you that's not good enough sir. YOU are at fault here, not me and you're making my job incredibly difficult."
I hung up on the bastard and I will not pay a cent till the debt gets bought by a different collection agency.
I've also had several cases where debt collectors call my family or my neighbors and tell them who and why they are calling. I thought this was illegal to disclose someone else's personal information?"
CollectorSuck Jan 24th, 2008
Sometimes, when you 18 years old, have lost your parents, and only qualify for $8 per hour jobs at the most, you can run up a bit of debt. It happens. Don't buy shit you cant afford? I'd be dead if I had that mentality because I wouldn't have been able to buy food or shelter.
I've worked my ass off and make over 50k per year now working as a professional, but I still have some lingering debt from back then, which I am doing my best to pay off. Whenever a collector calls, I gladly make arrangements with them and get the debt paid, but that doesn't stop them from being harrassing and degrading, always trying to get that extra penny out of me.
CollectorSuck Jan 24th, 2008
I read that most collection agency employees are in debt themselves. Nice. I know someone who works in human resources at a collection agency and she writes collectors up all day long for harrassing clients and using ILLEGAL tactics to collect debt.
CollectorSuck Jan 24th, 2008
answered silly and made heavy breathing sounds for a minute until they hung up... HAHA (I'm sure now they'll call back at like 2am to get revenge, oh well)
I answered with "Hello, this is Steve" because it's my work cell phone... A man's voice said "Oops, I just called this number, didn't I...". I said yes, and he said "Sorry, Take care.".
I had a job at a company, and they made mistakes in accounting and didn't reimburse me for my corporate card. When they did, they sent the money to the wrong account. Then, I lost my job because I wouldn't travel for them anymore. The jackass from GC called me yesterday, threatening to get me to lose the new job I just got (a week ago after 3 months unemployed) unless I would pay my bill. I've already told Amex that I was getting a new job and would start paying them monthly amounts as soon as I got my new job. I told the guy that called from GC that I would get them my first payment as soon as I got my paycheck. He started demanding to know how much. I told him I don't know. I haven't got my first paycheck yet. Then he started telling me he was going to tell my wife, and maybe even make her have to pay it. I laughed and said that would be great as my ex-wife already owes me over 9k. Then he told me that if I didn't tell him how much I would pay, then he would go after my parents. Finally, I told him I'd been working on a budget on my computer at home, and would be glad to tell him how much I had budgeted for them when I got home. He demanded that I write down his number to call back. I told him we were in my co-worker's car and didn't have a pen or pencil. He told me I wasn't taking it seriously. I tried to tell him that I was, but just didn't have a pen, but he hung up on me. He wouldn't e-mail me the number. Said "we're not allowed to e-mail anything." In other words, they want things their way no matter what.
He called me and my mother asking to know where my brother lived. He yelled into the phone at my mother saying what a terrible mother she was for not knowing where her kids where. WE are all in our 30's and he has harrassed her on numerous occasions, I just dont answer anymore
A woman named Roberta Barry calls me every day, usually at 8:00 in the morning, about the AMEX credit card that my _parents_ defaulted on. It is very sad that she has to harass a relative of two delinquent debtors every day as her job.
Like many, we have fallen on hard times and are unable to pay our bills, as we would like to do, as probably nearly everyone here would like to do. We are trying to work out payments with nearly everyone we owe without starving to death ourselves.
The man on here who would lead you to believe that, as a bill collector, he is so much wealthier than the rest of us and can pay his bills expeditiously (unlike the rest of us so-called deadbeats) is most likely full of excrement. I was once married to a bill-collector who barely kept food on the table. He eventually abandoned his three children and me, but not before molesting my oldest daughter. Oh yes, these men who prey on the rest of our misfortune are men of extremely high moral character (and that was said with tongue held quite firmly in cheek). Now that I know who is calling, they will be the last ones we attempt to pay. We are in our 60s and no longer care what you tell our neighbors or our children; those who know us know what kind of people we are, and the rest don't matter!
Called me trying to collect a $25,000 debt that was made by a former boyfriend. Said if I didn't pay it would go on MY credit. Have called and confirmed with both American Express and their main office that I am not liable as I wasn't an account holder. I am reporting this company for threatening me falsely, and continuing to harass me for a debt that I have no ties to.
It's so funny dealing with these people. Just tell them this number is a business number and can't accept any personal matters. Worked for me!
These people just need to work and make approximately 1000 calls every day so chances are there will be a call every day.
Even though I had my name
removed from caller list, they are still calling but
not leaving a message. So
you can't do anything about
They’ve been calling several times to resolve a past-due account. They called my children as well, divulging personal information and using threatening language such as "Do you want to see your father served with papers?"
That isn't the worst of it however. I decided to go ahead and pay the debt and gave them a call. I was transferred to the same gentleman (and I use that term loosely) that has been harassing me and my family. The call started first with a lie. "We don't accept payments by mail." I laughed and told him that was funny because I had gotten something in the mail from them instructing me where to send it (a PO Box). I told him there was no way I was going to give him any information over the phone. I used this terminology several times. He kept pressing.
Eventually I just said "Look, either you want the money or you don't." And his reply was "Either you want to resolve this or you don't. You were the one that stole the money." That was as far as I was willing to go.
"I have the current balance, I have this address, I will be sending a check. Goodbye." *click*
He didn't call back. The nerve of these people. It dawned on me why he wanted it over the phone. He gets a frickin commission from my debt if he collects it personally. I wouldn't give the twerp the satisfaction.
Don’t try and deal with these people rationally. It simply doesn’t work.
They left a message saying to call back on 800-926-3136
it is urgent.
Oh those nasty bill collectors -- they hide under the cover of ALL these agendas (below).
I certainly do hope they'll stop leaving me and MC alone - we can't even get a decent romp between the sheets these days what with all the phone calls demanding payment for our delicious fuck fest in Key West.

To all of you (potential) debtors out there - be careful with these collection agencies - I ran up a HUGE bill after running off with my homosexual lover for a wonderfully sexy and provocative two week vacation in Key West!!! Oh my goodness ME - what a bill I had on my AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD!!! Of course there was no way in GOD'S great world I could pay it - and if I had, I would have had to miss a payment on my beautiful house in the WILDHORSE subdivision - OMG - I just LOVE horses don't you???? Especially certain parts of them. Well, anyway, these awful terrible men just kept calling, and calling, and calling, I finally had to agree to give one of them a blow job to make them quit! It just SOOOOO isn't fair!
I had a credit card with american express, they sent it to gc services in houston tx, but ended up in their st louis operation. On 12/3/03 gc services withdrew 881.90 from my checking account without my knowledge or approval. They have continued to harass me by calling day and night and refusing to work with a settlment company I hired to resolve this debt. I have sent them a power of attorney letter, a cease and desist letter, and a verification of debt letter, yet they continue to refuse to respond.
It is my understanding that they are to stop calling me after they receive these letters. Last week a collector I have her name, from gc services called and said that she had talked with my counselor at the settlment company that is representing me and that she was told they no longer represented me and that they had washed their hands of me. She further stated that I had better pay off the debt or bear the consequences.
Since this last conversation with gc services, i have learned that in fact my settlment company who is representing me had never talked to the collector, nor had they dropped me as a client. I believe that gc services has gone way overboard in their attemp to collect this debt, especially since i am trying to resolve the issue with them. I am in the process of filing fraud claim with my bank and have also filed a complaint with the FTC.
I hope this does never happen to anyone else out there. By the way I have all the names of everyone that has contacted me from gc services.
MC and Jim, the homosexual lovers
These idiots, actually called a neighbor of mine to have her walk to my home and deliver some bogus message, telling her that I wanted this information and had requested it. They told her they thought my phone was out. A total lie, this is not even a ligit debt. It was a legal issue with an ex business partner. This has been determinded to be a debt of the company by a judge.
The ex partner has a court order to pay these debts and just hasn't. I have not been a partner in this business since July of 2001. And have absolutely nothing to do with this anymore. These jerks are completely ruthless liers that are trying to collect fictious debts. They are trying to scare me scare me into paying a debt that is not mine.
Message to MC - you are a REAL fucking retard, and I don't care what kind of house you live in - how you paid for it - how much money you're worth, etc. etc. ANYBODY can do the job you do - it doesn't take ANY KIND OF BRAINS AT ALL - all it takes is being a FAT MEAN SON OF A BITCH LIKE YOU. Congratulations on fucking the world over to make your own way - YOU FUCKING LOSER.
agree with MC..stop crying and pay your bills! If it's a wrong number tell them to take the number out instead of crying on the internet.

Well noah and chris...see admittedly I am a bill collector. Now what are you? Debtors.... Chris, education levels can vary. Personally I have a degree. I still do much better in my chosen field as a collector. Ironically a communications major has prepared me for a rather comfortable life in that career path. Sooo, should you need a job or some extra cash to pay the bills that you are being called about, try applying. We need "someone" to clean our toilets! Ahh...and for you Noah. Your figures for the average salary for bill collectors may have some validity. See in our industry we are unfortunately the recipients of depleted talent pools in some areas. So, yes the lower level collector with no experience may make less than 20K per year. However there are many, like myself, in the industry over 10 years and we can walk into ANY agency and make 50k their first year! so, if you are apparently soooo well to do, why are you on a site dedicated to debtors and their plight to dodge their responsibilities by not answering the phone? pussy!
pay your bills! put us out of a job!
Called 9 times in 2 days, sometimes within 30 seconds of each other. When I did answer, caller (Deborah Robinson) stated she was looking for (stated my name). I said that it was me. She then asked if I lived at some address in RI. I stated no and that the number she was calling was in CT (860 area code) and not RI (401 area code).
She then asked if I knew this other person and I stated that I didn't know of anyone with my same name in RI.
The call ended and over the next day she continued to call back anyway.
MC is a class act. Most debt collectors do not make the numbers he suggested. The turnover rate is extremely high. Educational requirements are negligible and apparently class is no requirement though evidently sociopathy is a plus. Most debt collectors earn less than $20,000 a year (this number is from their own statistics at a trade orgaization site)
This number called my cell phone this morning while I was at work; I didn't recognize the area code so I didn't answer. They then called my new husband's cell (how they got that I'll never know) and he answered. They asked for me and said they needed to discuss an AmEx debt from my first husband. I don't even know where he is. I won't be returning their call.
Over the last two weeks I've received several phone calls from this number. I was curious and called them back. They stated that they are GC Services, and asked for my name when I explained what was happening. I refused to give it, as it could easily be a social engineering attack to get info. They wouldn't deal with me unless I gave my name, so the call ended.
I assure you all that I ALWAYS pay my bills on time, and I have a very good credit score, therefore these guys are probably trying to get me to go to someone neighbor's house. No thanks.
Gee MC, did I say I had any problems? Did I say I owed anything? No, I didn't and no I don't. Maybe if you learned to read you might figure that out. I know that the education level required for your field isn't too high. If you keep up the good work, maybe in a few years you can get your GED.
Got another call last night. I don't answer. The funny thing is I don't owe anything. I keep up with my monthly utilities. A couple of times the did leave messages for a person who I have neer heard of. I think the person may have lived in my apartment before me. I had to change my phone number when I moved here because it was a different called area...so I started wondering if I was assigned a phone number that belonged to the person thse people want.
Awww Chris....did I hit a nerve there sugar. Well that is just too bad cocksucker. Mommies house eh.. Well, look up the Wildhorse subdivision in Chesterfield, MO...see if the average home value is what a sorry fucker like yourself would probably make in a lifetime. Mommy doesnt own it, I do. The kicker is, I pay for it by calling worthless turds like yourself. Fuck your problems, pay your bills. You want people to treat you like an adult, then act like one. Get another job and quit the bowling or dart league you ignorant prick. Shame is, you will never think of such a simple solution. You'll just sit on your fat sorry ass and bitch about it. CYA later turd.
Ummm, hey MC, go to hell and die. A lot of people have problems that result in debt or making ends meet. I'm glad you've never had a problem such as a sudden illness, death in the family, etc. that's caused you to have this problem. Perhaps when you've grown up and left Mommy's house you might have to deal with the real world. Until then, shut the hell up when the adults are speaking.
Jim and MC
I have an incredibly stellor record, I do not owe anyone a single penny. Someone at this number continually calls and hangs up when I answer. So your theory is nothing more than conjecture. Perhaps the people calling have to make so many phone calls per day to make a quota and that is the reason they call and hang up. I have no debt!
When I try to call them now to see what they want the call is redirected so that it is an endless loop. I could be wrong, I just want to know why they continually call and hang up.
2nd call saying they can not reach a neighbor. Asked if I could have the neighbor call them back but would not say why they were calling. I told caller I would not do this because there was no reason why they could not reach my neighbor themselves. They said they would just keep trying. I called my neighbor and she was home and no one even tried to call her. They even knew my name and address. They also called very early in the morning. Who are they?
I hate to say it, but MC is right.
Hey RJ and the rest of you DEBTORS!! Try this one on for size. PAY YOUR FUCKING BILL!! If you did that then all of the big bad bully bill collectors wouldn't have to call you. Morons!! Cry and wimper about your horrible calls...THAT YOU CAUSE BY NOT PAYING YOUR BILLS!! Ever think that you have a LEGAL obligation to them. They are doing you a favor by calling and motivating your ass to pay. The Original creditor could just sue your ass obtain a judgement (and they can legally) then garnish you, process a 30 day bank levee and take your money. etc etc. but no...they make a call and ASK your sorry ass for the money. And you want to Bith about it!! Well...excuse the fuck out of us!! Go ahead and wallow in your self pitty. Quit buying shit you can't afford. Most of the collectors that are calling you are making anywhere from 50K to 100K a year salary for doing what you say is soooo horrible. But...they are paying THEIR bills. Who is the bad person now???!!!
I wasn't home when this message came in at 11:15 a.m. The number and "nam" were on the caller ID but they left no message.
Called and hung up wen I answered. Called back cuz I was curious and decided the extra pennies was worth satisfying my curiousity. They answered GC Services, talked w/ Chris and he looked up my name and said I wasn't in the system, if they wanted me they would call back. After reading the blog, they are probably trying to find a neighbor... Who knows, the w.s.
Spoke with a Mike Campbell and was insulted by him on several occasions. He stated that he needed a certain amount or else there was no continued discussions. I told him there was no way to come up with that amount and he still called. He got to the point where he was laughing at me and mocking me and would continue repeating what he had to say but wouldn't listen to anything I had to say. I Finally shouted F**k you and hung up. Wouldn't give me any additional information about where they are located or who his supervisor was. He was a real pain in the A**. He even threatened to call friends and family about our situation looking for money and to humiliate us.
Operations Division called - while I was at work - left numerous messages for somebody who did not live at my address. When I saw the number calling in again I picked up the phone and spoke to them - I informed them that there was no such person at the address and they are not to call back again......You think they listened! No. They stopped for a week and started calling again, but not leaving messages. They would not give me the name of their company. I am reporting them to NACM - National Assoc of Credit Management and the Better Business Bureau
They call me and threaten me. I was a card holder for a business credit account that was 30 days past due. I told her that I was not in accounting and that she would need to call them,
She never called and then claimed that I lied to her when she had called previous. I told her the person in accounting and his phone number that she would have to deal with and she still calls me.

Alexia Lewis keeps calling my parents house, I do not live there, they know I don't live there yet they keep calling, she says its personal business, or threatens I have until the end of the day to call her which is b.s. or she would stop calling. I am sure its a debt collector....they don't listen to what I say, so I only deal with them, when I have the money in hand.
Bill collector for American Express Account
GC Services: This is a particularly nasty bill collector. In my case they are working for AMEX. They call your neighbors... see http://www.budhibbs.com/debtcollectorpages/gc_services.htm

Have received a few calls at work from this number. Phone goes dead when I answer. After reading other comments, assume it is a collections call for deadbeat predecessor in job. Number listed as landline in Creve Coeur, MO.
1-30-07 Lady Called and asked for someone that was not at our number, so she said, so you do not know them and I said no. The caller ID said Operations Division

Caller said that the co. had some information for my neighbor, but they were getting a rapid busy signal there. Said they asked directory assistance for the number of a nearby house and got mine. It told them that since they had the neighbor's address, perhaps they should contact them by mail.
Didn't say who he was with.

They've called a few times over the last few days and I have not picked up. They left a blank, 1 second voicemail yesterday. After checking here, I decided to call them back, but put my phone on mute. Somebody named Eric picked up and I thought he said TC Services, not GC Services. I could have just misheard, though. Either way, I won't be answering their calls.
Asked for someone I did not know. I called back and pretended I called a wrong number. Of course, the collection agency did not believe me! I immediately hung up
GC Services are collection monkeys for AmEx and federal student loans. They like to call neighbors to try to shame the debtor into paying.
THEY LEFT A MESSAGE STATING A MATTER CONCERNING MY WIFE AND MYSELF AND TO CALL. I WILL NOT BE CALLING BACK
Called and said it was a confidental call for another employee. His name is Chuck and he said he works for JC Services.

Caller ID said Missouri
Caller asked me if I knew my neighbors at an address two doors down. Asked me if I would go and give them a message to call her. I told her that I was not comfortable doing that. After I hung up, I realized that they had moved a few months ago, but when I called back I got a busy signal.
