Received call from this number. They left no message
I was just checking this number, 312-775-1287, and seen all the comments. There is a program called PhoneTray Pro that you can block all the calls you want. One person, one city, one area code or one state. There is no limit that I can see. I have hundreds of numbers blocked. You have to have your computer on for it to work, but blocked numbers will ring 1 time then play a message and hang up. Mine plays the Sorry but that number is temporarily out of service or has been disconnected. There is a number of pre recorded messages or you can make your own. You can even set a sleep time that accepts no calls.

Caller ID: IPSOS. no message. Looked up IPSOS , it said they're a research company based in Paris , France.
Caller ID is: IPSOS called twice today. Did not leave a message.
Calls every day. Never leaves msg. Will answer tomorrow and have fun with them....lol
IPSOS caller ID appears. They never say a word just hang up. They called 2x at dinner.
Cathi (NY): You need to get back on your medications, dear.
Very rude and insisted I answer if I owned my home, etc. I said I will not answer any questions over the phone about anything especially to a criminal invading my home. I told her I hope she died a very painful death.
Len is smoking crack again.... poor poor Len
My CID said name IPSOS. Beware ! ! ! They Are Not Who They Claim To Be - This Is A Subversive Attempt To Verify Who You Are.
The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call Plus Their Wasted Time. Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.

When I called the number back, it is some market research group
I got a call from this number today, and I asked to be taken off his list, he claimed he didn't know my name and didn't have a list. When I informed him I had a legal right to be removed from a calling list, he simply repeated that he had no list!!!! I told him, "Don't ever call me again." And I hung up. It is the most insane contact I have had yet from a phone solicitor. He refused to take responsibility for calling me, or take my number out of their system. Next time, he will wish he had never called. I have a can horn I will put up to the mouthpiece of the phone after I put on my ear protectors.
Called at 7:50 p.m., Id shows as IPSOS ... I did not pick up and they left no message.
All the caller said was "Goodbye."
When I googled annoyance calls I found one in six households in the US disconnected their home phone due to annoyance calls. I think it's time to disconnect mine too. The only calls I get at home are political, surveys and charities. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention fraternal order of the police and they're not a charity. Thank God for cell phones. So far they seem to be exempt from this nonsense.
Why are right wing idiots posting about Obama here. You pathetic ignorant losers do nothing but whine.
Get a life and read some non-religious books for a change
when does the Do Not Call List take affect? For crying out loud!!
I'm on the National Do Not Call list and they're calling just before 9pm ct

Offered to answer the questions for survey. The person was not from my area and was difficult to understand. Many names I knew but not how they pronounced them. This made the survey difficult. And the questions continued and became confusing as to what I was answering. The person did not want to let me off the phone and I eventually as polite as I could told them I was not answering any more questions, wished them a good evening and hung up. The questions were something on company names and what I knew of them kinda thing and asnwers as some, somewhat positive, somewhat neg and not at all. Again, it got very confusing and I was not sure what the questions really were and were very similar. I was asked about voting so it must be something political. I was as a lot about companies such as Exxon, Mobil, Chevron, etc... Pay me if you want to keep me on the phone that long!
Ipsos is a legitimate group. I asked not to participate and the rep was very annoyed. Just do a search on IPSOS....you just might want to take their next call.
Called first time today. Caller ID. Did not recognize so did not answer.
Called about a survey on American companies. Said that would be a waste of my time.

From what I can find out this is a marketing firm. Are they too exempt from the do not call registry. Or, was this a political call?
Relevant identification information is the purpose of this site, isn't it? It shouldn't be the forum for anonymous political trash talk.
Glad they didn't get their market research answers from some of these fools. OMG?!
Ipsos, apparently a market research firm.
It may help if ''Jenn / Len / Cathi'' would pick one user name and stop talking to herself.

Maybe the time to just ditch our phones and mail boxes is getting close.? Then just really don't exist in any form but the ones WE pick!
Caller ID "IPSOS" at 8:22 PM - By the way to BOB (Below comment) You say that you make a loud shrill in the phone to hurt ear drums of the caller - Sorry to say, but that does nothing. The phone companies limit the receiver volume to normal hearing levels so that the listner only hears the "Loud Shrill" at a normal level and it does not hurt the ear drums.
OMG...just read "Len" below. I just told my husband that's who I thought was behind these calls...it's like I was mind reading or something. WOW. Anyway, that Obama crowd is the most evil bunch ever to be on our shores. And you really need to watch out for that MSNBC...that once proud company has hit the lowest point possible. Those fools at comcast won't fix it either. I mean, really, is there anything more discusting that that slime "Ed" or that trashy bitch Maddow...she makes my skin crawl...REALLY.
Received call today from 312.775.1287 caller ID IPSOS. Googled name and discovered IPSOS is a Market research company based in Paris, France. Why would they call me at 7:17pm on a Friday night (3 rings)- not enough time to activate answering machine either? I'm on national do not call list, pay for an unlisted number and call blocker. Whiy is this allowed? I left a comment to update circumstances. WAMU does not exist anymore and in 2009 they may have owned this number or used the services from this company- not sure who's calling, nor do I care. This is a Chicago, Illiinois based area code. Lately, according to other posts, 312.775.1289 has been linked to a survey group working for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. SURVEYS NEED TO BE BLOCKED TOO! MY PRIVATE TIME BEGINS AT 6PM DO NOT CALL ME ABOUT ANYTHING GOING ON IN THE WORLD, I FRANKLY DON'T CARE TO HELP ANYONE AFTER 6PM!!!
These are Obama people from Chicago...beware. Committed to social activism, they are looking to have govt take over the critical businesses in our country and ruin the south west by letting the mexicans invade/takeover without firing a shot. Reporting obviously won't do any good...the boss man has control of the whole deal.
Bottom feeders....pure dirt. I do love this site, however. Where else can you go and read stuff like this Bob caracter...one of the messagers below. He goes through the effort to "sctivate a loud shrill" into the phone thinking he's getting a person. All the while, the machine he's doing that to is laughing and continues to make calls. God, this place is funny.......
8:15PM on a Wed night they called. I have no business with this company so I pickup & hang up. After a few of those they get the hint.

This company must have a great health benefit package because they continue to call and I continue to activate a loud shrill into the speaker so as to cause deafness into the caller's ear. So continue to call so that I can continue to add to the count of damaged eardrums on the other end of the line. :-)
Call came through at nearly 9:00 p.m., a live person rather than a robocall. Before she could go into any spiel, I told her I wasn't interested and hung up. Googled Synovate and found it was a research firm in Chicago. Am getting tired of these research firms calling. This was the third nuisance call of the same type we'd received that day.
Synovate is a market research Firm

They called me today, Oct. 16, 2011 at 4:30pm and wanted to do a survey. The guy was polite but had an accent and didn't seem too competent in his job. The survey seemed to be about political activism, i.e., questions about posting or reading online blogs, being active in the political process, etc. I answered "no" to everything, but made it sound like I was thinking hard about each question. I did that to waste his time like he was doing mine. He implied (not stated) that there was some sort of job in the making depending on my answers. Yeah, right.
constantly calling, then when answering machine comes on, just hangs up?.
Caller said they were Wells Fargo. We gave no info back and hung up.
I have been recieving fax type calls from RINGCENTRAL,NOVATEL, everyday all day noone says anything its like a fax. If I dont answer it starts with the fax noise then starts clicking it annoying. Now I am recieving calls from SYNOVATE, Who's this?
INTL Woman....Synovate is a global company as in all over the world. You don't have to be from the US...silly creature.
Synovate Opinion called with a brief survey about Health Care. I answered their questions, and they haven't called back since.
This number calls (Synovate) frequently, never leaves a message. I looked them up on the interest and they do surveys. They have a link to remove your number - haha - to remove your number you must give your full name, email address, where you work and your position; plus permission to send you an email!
Several calls over a week without a message. They finally got a hold of me tonight asking for participation in a travel survey poll. I said no, and besides i'm on the do not call list. person was polite.
First Time I've gotten the call. I let it go to Voicemail. no msg. love this site btw :)

They called here twice. The first time I said "I'm not interested," as soon as they said their speil. The second time I simply picked up the receiver and hung it up again. The third time I picked up the receiver and said, "STOP CALLING ME!" That was two days ago and they haven't called back yet.
No message. Caller Id shows SYNOVATE. Google says it's a market research company.
this is a market research co. Call the corporate office and have your # removed 866-320-4607
Synovate is a market research company. I have received 2 calls from them in the past week. Did not answer and do not know what they are researching.
Caller launched into a spiel abour a survey.
This number called my house every day for about a week. I picked up once (the second time they called), and they said they wanted to do a survey, I cut them off and told them I am on the do not call list. They called every day for about 5 more days, and then stopped calling.
synovate call me 4 2 2010 at 8 45pm to give me a 10 minute survey about my verizon satisfaction.....they started off by saying i have 2 dvr's in my house as a question....i told them i ask the questions and they may send me via us mail any survey ...

How did you ppl even GET this number?!!! I'm not even FROM the US! I do not appreciate getting calls from foreign numbers I do not recognize at odd hours of the evening. I certainly do not like that upon immediately calling the number back (from an undisclosed line) I hear an automated voice telling me that "this number does not accept calls, but we are a marketing company which just wants to ask you a few questions. We don't wanna sell you a thing." BULLSHIT!!! And if that's all you're after, you could at least have the decency to say your name, and not have me look it up on a website! Who raised you? Osama Bin Laden has more manners than you! If you're working on commission depending on how many answers you get, then forget it! Get it thru your thick head(s) - I'm NOT gonna answer, so give it up already!
INTL Woman Nov 10th, 2009
Caller ID says SYNOVATE, called on a Saturday but didn't leave a msg.
CA Job searcher Nov 08th, 2009
I pick up the receiver and hang up immediately. Usually that stops an automated dialer from calling for the rest of the day. If I'm having a bad day, I have been known to scream "Who are you and what do you want?!!??" when I answer. I don't like to do that, though. It's just that sometimes, I crack. I'm honestly thinking of getting rid of my phone.
This company has been calling every day for two weeks now! It's very annoying!
I asked my husband to put a message on the answering machine, saying that we're not answering calls if we don't recognize the number, and a message MUST be left by anyone who wants a response from us. That leaves it in their court to leave a message, and then back to ours to decide whether to respond! Works like a charm! We have blessed days of NO PHONE CALLS! AT ALL!! That includes from SYNOVATE, which seems to be a merchandising company, or 'secret shopper' situation. Either way, I'm not interested
They never leave messages. Hello folks, that's the tip off. If you called someone, would you not leave your message if you were legit? I love the comment from Vermont. I too have "played" with marketers on the phone, the best was when I pretended I believed every thing they said. I oohed and aahed, and omg'd, they hung up on me.
Love this website, I am sending it to all my friends.

Glad to know who they are. Next time, I'll pick up and work on my comedy improv with them. For example, when credit card companies ask me why I'm cancelling a card, I tell them, with a serious voice, that "every time I touch the card, I get gassy."
Got a call, twice in 10 minutes, let it go to vmail since I didn't recognize. No voicemail left didn't bother to try calling back.
They've called many times and never leave a message.
And today we received our daily call from this company. Approximately 36 minutes after the call, the company called us again from a different number. For the second call they called from 559-437-5359
. In both cases the company did not leave a voicemail message.
AnnoyedatHome Dec 19th, 2008
Company called at 4:49pm and didn't leave a message. Company also called at 4:13pm from a different number 312-775-1287
). Our number is unlisted and we've had it for less than a month. According to the telephone company, phone numbers are out-of-circulation for at least 90 days before they are reassigned. So it makes no sense to me that an autodialer would call a number that doesn't answer for 3 or more months in a row. Something doesn't add up here.
Annoyed at Home Dec 19th, 2008
Just received a call from this company. No voicemail message was left. Have also received several calls from this company during the last week. The number used on those calls was 312-775-1287
. My phone number is unlisted, so I'm concerned about how they got it. And if no one has given it to them, then they are using an autodialer. Why aren't autodialers illegal? It seems like everyone/every business except private citizens have "rights".
AnnoyedatHome Dec 17th, 2008
This company has been calling us daily for nearly a week now. Not once have they left a voicemail message. The phone company claims that they cannot block specific phone numbers from calling us. They also claim that they cannot block entire area codes from calling. It doesn't make sense to me that the phone company cannot do this. I also wonder why I'm paying for an unlisted phone number when it seems that anyone can call it whenever they feel like it. Smells like a racket.
AnnoyedatHome Dec 17th, 2008
They call every day, even on Sunday. I've never answered.
A global market research company.
