We just moved and our phone number apparently used to belong to a deadbeat. Several times a day I get debt collection calls for the person who used to have our number. Some of them stop calling, some of them don't. I reported one of them to the state Attorney General. This is a new tactic, though. A real person asked for someone I don't know (yes, it was the deadbeat, it's pretty easy to find her name if you google the number online). When I said this was the wrong number, the caller insisted it was the right number, just not the right person. And then she launched into a script about some survey or other and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. I can't answer for the person who used to have my phone number, I never met the person, so I just asked to be put on the "do not call" list and rang off.

It is GOOGLE. They call every day and I ask them to remove us from the list. They always tell me that we were successfully removed from the list. The very next day I get another phone call. When will they ever stop. I also told them that we were on the DO NOT CALL LIST. I had one reps tell me there is no such list. I asked for a supervisor but got no where. I ask for the home office phone number and she said "GOOGLE IT." What a company........ They are the biggest jokes of all.....
