The DO NOT CALL LIST works if you report it, but won't work unless you report it. These folks are True Scam Artists. Low life people who can't get a 'real' job and prey off others ignorance. If you are on the

Interesting. I hung up on the automated spiel when it called my work number, and then I came home and found the number on my caller ID. Random digit dialing, or do they have me identified at more than one number?

Just as everyone else! I let the call go through to voicemail. Called the number back. I put myself on the stop call list. I waited the 72 hours. Happy me! Now they call more! I Think harassment at this point. You cant tell recordings that your on the Gov no call list.

Recorded message beginning with the FBI shows that there is growing crime in the neighbor and this unidentified company will give and install a home alarm system just for placing a sign in my front yard. Now what could be better than that? The recorded message neglects to state the on-going costs for the services being provided by the company if legitimate or potential scammer getting access to credit card and/or banking information. Although with the number of scammers and companies that purposely disregard the DNC registry, it is still important to add this number to the FTC for investigation and possible legal actions. We need to insist that Congress increases the fines and penalties on these companies; the FTC is limited in the penalties it can assess.

Why do people think if the phone rings they must answer it? You have
CID, USE IT! Do you let anyone coming to your door into your home? Of
course not. Wake up people, these are crooks, DO NOT ANSWER when they
call you! They manipulate the CID system so the info is probably fake.
If for some insane reason you must answer it's too late! Soon as you
answer you've told them your number is valid. They sell this info to
other scammers. Pushing a # to 'remove yourself from their list' does
absolutely NOTHING for you. Do NOT call them back!
IF YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE! WAKE UP!
Stop these calls with Phone Tray Pro - Https://www.phonetray.com/
The phone block system the phone company charges you for does NOT
block all the calls Phone Tray Pro does. I have NO connection with
Phone Tray Pro, I am simply an EXTREMELY happy customer. Best money
I have ever spent! DIGITONE ($100)(Only blocks 80 #s), TELE ZAPPER,
PRO CALL BLOCKER ($50), CALL BLOCKERs Amazon.com sell etc
don't do nearly what Phone Tray Pro does and cost a LOT more! Don't
waste your money on these worthless gadgets. As of 08/29/13 I have
206 #'s, 12 Wild Card #'s and 18 CID names on my PTP Black List that
will never get through again. The DNC doesn't affect scammers.
Don't be so naive. You can report them to the FTC but honestly when
was the last time the federal government ever did anything for you?
Oh I forgot, Obamacare. Speaking of scams!

The usual stuff - free inst, lifetime warranty, cost varies based upon # of window and door sensors; I asked if I could get details from a web page, they said we'll get you that information, are you ready to buy? I said "You're asking me to commit and you've not answered my question - I want to know who I am dealing with". and I was apparently disconnected.
