This annoying call comes from a telemarketer hired by Discovercard. They make the call and hang up when we answer,
Myguess is so that they can run up the numberof \'hits\' they receive. It is supposed to play a recorded message, but just goes dead wire.
I wish there were a way to blow the whistle on them.

This was a political auto-message. It was stumping for Rick Santorum (R) of PA. Basically a sleazy negative attack ad against his opponent. The message tags itself as coming from Rick Santorum's campaign. I called & screamed at them about it, and they said they would put me on a list to not call me, even though when asked, they "do not maintain a do not call list." They couldn't seem to care less that I (a voter in his district) was very angry at the call.

They left no message, and I was curious because I lived in Powell, WY when I was in the Air Force. I thought maybe one of my friends tracked me down, obviously not!

I got multiple calls from this number on both 10-11 & 10-12. When I answered and said "Hello?" I got no response. I have VOIP service and am able to just go on line and either block or forward specific numbers. I forwarded this number so the next call I get will ring at the White House. I have no desire to talk to any Republicans maybe they will- HAHAHA ROFLMAO

Identifying themselves as National Republican Commission or Committee, two messages bashing Harry Mitchell.

They called twice on Oct. 11, once at 6:51PM, again at 7:34PM. Exact same message, two different guys. Sorry, not voting for anyone who does this!

I have installed a FREE program on my computer to automatically answer these type calls. It answers with a SIT tone and/or message. It requires a voice modem with Caller ID capability. If you don't have one they cost about $15 - $30 depending on brand. Well worth the expense. The FREE software is available at: http://phonetray.traysoft.com/

It was a called for the Kerry Healey for governor of MA campaign doing a fear job against Patrick Deval. I'm not voting for Patrick Deval, but I'm sure as hell not voting for that Romney clone Healey either!!

I wish political messages fell under the Do Not Call laws. I don't want to hear those messages anymore.
