I have given up on the DO NOT CALL LIST they know it is to much trouble to get in touch with anyone at the Government to help stop the calls. So my solution has been to add the unwanted numbers to a contact on my phone called do not answer or A** H*** if it is appropriate. This also works on some home phones.
I called Craig @ 303-923-1316
. I said that I was told he could help me get my number on the company's "do not call" list. He said he would take care of it and I thought he seemed polite. I didn't get any attitude from him.
They have called repeatedly snd I am on a do not call registry. When you call the number it's a recording that refers you to a bogus website www.FMGBNC.com if you wish to remove your number. However, once you are there it's not a valid site. Apparently, it stands for Financial Media Group. You can call 303-923-1312
and speak to a Mark or leave a message.
I called 303-923-1316
and talked to Craig (finally a live person!) like Mary suggested. I told him that he was in violation of the do not call registry and he swore up and down that the telemarketing call I received was not in violation because it didn't cost anything. What a loser. I told him that he could stop lying and I would just report them each time they called me. I suggest anyone who gets a call from these people to give Craig a call and tell him what you think.
This number called but didn't leave a message. I called it back and it directed me to be put on the do not call list of financial media group. I am on the do not call national registry and am turning them in for violating that.
Don't know how they got the number of the church where I work, but I hung up after realizing it was yet another telemarketing call. I'm not even sure it was a real person on the other line... either it was a recording or someone reading off a script.
speak to Kraig to have your number removed from their call list database
I'm on do not call and keep getting called from this number. When you call the number back it tells you to go to their website in order to get off I've done that and I keep getting called.
I'm an insurance agent and I get calls all the time from other companies. I'm assuming that's what this is, but I didn't answer the call
I am a retired insurance agent also
I am also an Insurance agent and am pretty sure they are soliciting there lead programs. I have heard they are getting there list from our home state insurance dept. That prospect really makes me angry. Why have a national no-call list if our own govt. give our numbers out?
go to www.fmgdata.com all THEIR contact info is there
Posted a resume on line and now I am dealing with all these unknown calls...
It belongs to the Financial Marketing Group... No place to demand a "DO NOT CALL".. http://www.fmgdata.com/
As others have reported, selling "insurance leads" -- if you look at their website "fmgdata.com" their director of telemarketing is "VACANT" -- that's for sure. 2nd call from these people to a # on DNC for over 3 years.
I've received several of these on a business line that has been in the DNC since its inception. Its a recorded call, one of those "press 1 for more information or press 8 to be removed" type things that instantly hangs up on you when you press 8.
They do have info in the recording telling you how to unsubscribe, rattling off a phone number in 303 to fast to capture, but also refer you to fmgdnc.com, and if you call the number back you get a recording redirecting you to that same website for removal. Its obvious these people know they're up to no good.
Rats. I thought we'd finally heard the last from this telemarketer at our house. Not so. Idiots. Reported them to Do Not Call.
I have software called CallStation where I can put phone numbers on lists for certain messages. This one is now on the list that gets the tone and message that we hear when we call a disconnected number. It won't get through to me anymore.
I hung up before the first recorded sentence could be finished "Please listen carefully..." >click< And then I reported them to the Natl Do Not Call
go to this site to be placed on their do not call list:
Called on 6/9 said they were Sprint with new pkg. Then very insistent on getting my birthday and soc. sec. No. which I did not give. I called Sprint and reported.
Another prerecorded message from a company trying to sell leads for securities.
Also, insurance sales/leads???
Call came through on Feburary 16th approx. 9:20 AM. Woke me up, too.
The number belongs to a company called Financial Service Online. Which directs you to speak with John Halliday
several calls on id but never a message
Wasn't there to answer, but I am an ex-insurance agent so that could be it.
I got a call 12-6-06. Tried searching everywhere for a reverse look up solution. Found none. I also believe it in a insurance sales/leads company soliciting insurance agents to sell their products.
I think it is insurance sales/information/leads.
Isn't it against the law for Marketers to make unknown calls? Do not call, please.
