These people are looking for the previous owners of my house...a home I bought NINE years ago. I told them they are using old information and to stop calling me...of course being the BLEEPS they are they continue to call, breaking Debt Collections Laws....which when you point out the them they have the gall to get rude!! I would love to see the FTC hit them with HUGE fines...and I would love to have the fines donated to chairities where they would benefit others.

Anyone who can apply their state collections laws to an original creditor should study up and beat back the hostile tactics World Financial seems to enjoy. A smidge of hope remains that FDCPA could cover WFNNB also. As a subsidiary of Alliance Data Systems, it's been alleged that the "bank" is not a bank according to SEC filings but a servicer, the front desk issuing all those retail store cards. Possibly this means it technically does not own the debt it collects on, given the way card debt is so heavily securitized.
Who are you addressing, Mr. Cabrera? Not your lender WFNNB. They don't manage this site and likely don't read all the dozens of complaints about them here. I sympathize with Ms. Finkelstein so far as calls coming in outside the hours set by FDCPA and TCPA, but collectors are not about to become clairvoyant enough to guess who is observing what holiday under which belief system. That's asking too much of almost any form of call center rep, even the rude kind in collections.

We have been receiving phone calls from this phone number for the past two weeks at our offices. Our company is small, we only have three employees, and none of us are delinquent on our bills. This company continues to call five to six times a day. Whenever I answer, I say the business name and the caller immediately hangs up. I've tried to call the number back, and I only get their switchboard operating who I'm sure is tired of hearing my voice. Obviously, there are wasting everyone's time and their own.

These guys call relentlessly. They cant leave a message as i have them blocked with phonetray! They can suck it! They can change numbers and i will block the new number too! They have to be getting very discouraged being that they keep calling and cant speak to anyone or even leave a message on my machine. How long will they keep trying? Good Luck!
To day is Memorial Day; a national holiday. I have just recieved a phone call from this ...."person", a woman. This (SAME!!!!--SAME EVERY TIME!!!) woman has been harrassing my family with exccessive amounts of telephone calls. She calls---yes,"She"--- and it is ALWAYS the SAME woman(!!!!)--- calls on the HIGH HOLY days of the Jewish Calander(!!!), which is very disrespectful, considering my last name is not a "questionable" surname regarding my Jewish nationality and heritage!!! The calls begin around 7:55 AM and the latest call was actually close to TEN O' CLOCK!!! i want this STOPPED, she is calling the WRONG NUMBER, because my name is CAITLYN FINKELSTEIN, NOT ELAINE MCARTHUR!!!! I want it stopped or I WILL take legal action, as i am a litigator. I will NOT take action against World Financial, i WILL however, take action against that rude, scathing, and completely disrespectful "person" you have as an employee. Some "emloyee"!!! She wont even give me her name so I can let her know, politely, " I'm sorry, Sally/Theresa/Deborah/Jennifer-ect. , there is no Elaine here. You have the wrong number. Have a nice day."

Those people are terrible......they don't care about people. They call and call and call all day long. The worst been around dinner time when families are eating. Even 3 calls in 30 minutes. I called my parents first to know how they doing then, I unpluged all phone cords OFF! Family time is precious!!
I finally picked up the phone after this and a second number has contacted me several times a day. The rude woman on the other end got mad at me when I questioned her as to who this is and where are you calling from. She asked for a female which has no conection to my number. She then hung up on me after stating "Is she there or not". The second number they are calling from is 614-729-5609
. They have left no messages at any time. Report them to naca.net that is my next stop. I hear they are only allowed to call twice a day or they are in violation of some guidelines. They call from different numbers in an attempt to hide that. A look up in google showed me who they are. They are calling my cell looking for god knows who. I am pissed and they are done.

The same lady has been calling for my girlfriend for two or three weeks now usually 10-15 times a day starting at 8:00am. Im starting to lose my patience today I asked for a number to call her back and she just hung up on me so next time she calls im just gonna flip shit as soon as i pick up. Not sure what this is about as I have NEVER had a card at any of the stores mentioned here. I started recieving calls from this number all of a sudden about three days ago. So far, I haven't been able to answer as the calls have all been while I've been at work, and I don't call back numbers I don't know.

They called in the morning and left no message then called in the afternoon and all they would say is that there was a banking matter but wouldn't say what that was. I hung up as we have no connection to this company.
This number started calling me at 7:30 on Saturday and continued to call me about 15 times over the next 2 days before there was someone on the other end when I answered. They told me that I had missed two payments and upon further researching, the guy on the other end realized they had neglected to send me paper statements. He said that I had agreed to receive electronic statements only in September. Then he also noticed that I made a payment in October on a PAPER STATEMENT. Then he tried to tell me that I owed $50 in late fees for two months. Just when he was about to clear the late fees and do an automatic transaction the call disconnected. I tried calling back and got an automated message that they closed at 8pm on Sundays. He called me at 9:15!! Now it's Tuesday and they've already called me 5 more times with NO ONE ON THE OTHER END.
I just got a call from these creeps. They asked for me, I asked who was calling, the guy said "Joseph." Oh right - like that's a comforting convincing way to answer when you know someone doesn't know (or want to know who you are). He then proceeded to tell me that he needed my routing number and checking account number to pay my credit card bill (Limited) - alas, I have not received a bill...
I laughed and said "NO."
Will talk to the store about this. NEVER buy into one of those store credit cards - they are always a trap like this. Too bad I learned too late..
These idiots have been calling my business number for over 2 months now (maybe longer). They think some dead beat lives here that doesn't pay bills. After numberous calls you would think they get the hint. What a bunch of morons. I don't even answer the phone anymore since it comes up on the caller ID. Find a life, losers!!
Annoying. Possibly the most annoying people who have ever called my phone. They call nonstop, even at 7 in the morning, which I thought was NOT LEGAL. Anyway, they are Express/VS/Limited..and I paid my bill late. They will not go away. They have their F****** money!! Dont even bother answering this one.
I used to get calls from WFNNB 3-4 times a day, (New York & Company. Now it says ADS. I paid ONCE online, and now I don't get paper bills in the mail anymore, WTF? If they want my money, they should send me a bill!!
Won't say who they are . They asked for my husband and I told him he wasn't available and could I take a message, she said "no" and hung up. It's from New York and Co. They didn't send me a bill, but yet want to harass me/us for their stupid mistake? They suck!

I answered yesterday and they asked for someone in my household - I asked who was calling the woman said "Patricia" (BIG BITCH just to warn you all if she calls you) was extremely snippy when giving her name so I proceeded to ask what company she was with just so I could tell the person she was asking for.. she said "that is none of your business mam' I don't think that concerns you" I said well if you cannot tell me then she is not available and hung up. She called again today and we ignored the call.

They call constantly for my step daughter. It is 9:15 in the morning and they called twice already. My step daughter is 18 and real bad with money so I don't see her paying them.
I think it serves them right for bouncing on 18 year olds to give them credit cards.
This number has called me repeatedly over the last couple of weeks. They called me three times on New Year's Day - these people do not rest.
these people keep calling for our daughter she was late on a small bill (under 25 bucks) by about a week she had trouble paying the bill on line and had to wait for the next cycle (since she had thrown away the hard copy) it seems that this company approves credit cards to young and inexperienced customers then proceeds to hassle them on the smallest of infractions. advice: if you lose your bill-go to the store that you are a card holder of and pay at the register-and keep your receipt!!! if you continue to receive harrassing calls this website is excellent in reporting the incident and informing others.
i asked what the matter was about and since i wasn't the person she asked for she said, "none of my business" then hung up before i could say anything back.
I answered this call and the gentleman on the other end just said "I'm sorry I have a wrong number" then he hung up.

They don't stop call me and i never answered once. this morning they called me 6 times in 2 minutes. they dont stop harrasing me and everyone else. what is their problem?!?!?! They have mental retardation i guess!!!
