COMPANY NAMES:
Goodman and Stern LLC, aka GSA Recovery, aka GSA Management Orlando, FL … AND/OR … EIESNBURG, WHITMAN & ASSOCIATES LLC (also spelled EiSEnburg, Whitman & Associates LLc)
ALL located at 7751 Kingspointe Parkway, Orlando, FL 32819 (part are in Ste 106, rest in ste 107)

SUGGESTIONS (again, I am NOT an attorney and am NOT attempting to dispense legal advice. These are my PERSONAL suggestions)
1-IF you decide to answer one of their MANY calls from about 50 different telephone numbers (no, I’m not exaggerating), give them NO INFORMATION. In fact, YOU MAKE THEM ANSWER QUESTIONS, and if they don’t, hang up on them! I don’t know anything about spoofing/masking numbers, but there have been comments that they are VOIP’ing the majority of the numbers they’re calling from. I do not doubt this, as a person said the number showing on her phone was that of the local police department.
2-Keep a running log of the date, time, telephone number, person calling and note of conversation to file with your complaints. (Or, try to record the call, BUT they usually hang up when they’re told they’re being recorded. ROFLOL, now how many LEGITIMATE collection agencies would do that? NONE that I’ve ever heard!
3-Look up your state’s Statute of Limitations on debts that can be pursued in court (that you can still be sued for). It seems to vary from 3-15years.
4-DO NOT allow them to intimidate or frighten you. These idiots have even called the numbers attorneys, police officers, etc. with this scam. Intelligent, they are NOT.

USUAL PLOYS:
1-call friends, neighbors, relatives, employers, and you trying to intimidate you into paying JUST to make the calls stop (but, from looking online, they don’t stop…they just demand more). – Ask these folks to also keep a log of the calls, give them this internet page to check. Ask them to do a search for ANY of these company names. They’ll soon realize it that these people are nothing but SCAMMERS.
2-“…have important legal documents (or summons) to deliver, will you be home ---(day) from 8:30 to 4:30 to accept it?”
3-“There’s a warrant out for your arrest UNLESS you send us $xxx TODAY” -- they seem to prefer asking for the “Green Dot” prepaid card and want you to call back with the numbers on back … harder to trace where to $ goes, apparently.

There are complaints about them all over the internet for harassing people that do not owe the debt, threatening to arrest people for a debt, telling people the only way they'll stop calling is to pay "court costs" on an alleged suit they filed, etc. According to some of the MANY complaint pages and numbers they've called using, it seems they call about debts that are 5-10 years old, don't care if they were paid or not because they want money. There are people who have fallen for this, and stated that they paid, and are STILL waiting on getting the documentation of the debt from them. Of course, their story is that they sent it out ... yeah, right.
What's laughable is one page on their website that says they follow the law during collection attempts. OBVIOUSLY, NOT! THEY have an F rating with the FL BBB (see below).

By the way, it would seem to me that, IF you had a bad debt, it would show on your credit report (if still eligible to be reported). IF you do have a bad debt on your credit report, you might want to consult an attorney and/or the original creditor, rather than these folks who obviously could care less about the law. [I am NOT an attorney, nor do I profess to be one. I am NOT dispensing “legal advice,” simply giving my opinion!]

IF they were calling about a legitimate debt, they would NOT be calling to see if you'll be home all day on certain day to "deliver legal documents" or "subpeona." A legit collector CANNOT discuss your bill with anyone else OR threaten to arrest you and/or send you to debtor's prison, etc.

SUGGESTIONS (again, I am NOT an attorney and am NOT attempting to dispense legal advice. These are my PERSONAL suggestions)

Make him aware of the sleazy, annoying, & unprofessional, & possibly illegal
sales solicitation and calling practices of his company, “Better Home Products
of Texas, ask what he intends to DO about it and WHEN, and that he cannot hide
from the public nor avoid the consequences…see how cooperative or “sincere”
he appears to be, and relay all this to the Texas Attorney General, BBB, etc.
If he truly values his business reputation in the Houston community, logic dictates
that he SHOULD take all this seriously and implement immediate corrective action
regarding the management of this business, replacement and proper training of his
employees, etc.

713-465-3373 : May be his HOME phone number at the address of 13218 Taylorcrest
Road, Houston 77079 which lists him as the Property Owner in the Wilchester Subdivision, Memorial area.

documents as the Vice-President of Compass Bank in the past (do a Google search on him)

He needs to be informed directly regarding the strange, intrusive, disruptive, and unprofessional telephone sales tactics of his company and employees, especially
all the:

1) Repeated Phone calls coming from 713-554-0482 (Need to complain to phone carrier
as well as Texas Attorney General, BBB, FTC, etc.)

2) Cold Calling of consumers using their names, asking how they are doing today, then
HANGING UP WITHOUT IDing themselves, their company, or purpose of their call.
Sounds like they are using DECEPTIVE, ANNOYING tactics to compile a phone
call list for future use. This may well be illegal.

3) Failure to provide a phone number for INCOMING CALLS for “Do Not Call” requests or any other reason for contacting them, ordering any legitimate product, etc.

Please post any updates here so we can all benefit….

Just got a call from 804-442-3011 @ 5:58 pm on 07/29/10, they identified themselves as calling on behalf of the F.O.P. When I asked the name of the organization, I was told JAK Productions. I asked how much of each dollar went toward FOP, vs how much administrative costs; I was told 70,000. I asked out of how much, they hemmed hawed around and said out of 100,000 (why would they not say 70% of each dollar?). I confirmed the information I was given with the caller and told him that he could call back tomorrow if all this checked out via the BBB. He immediately hung up! Imagine that!!

I just wanted to say you all should be ashamed of yourself for the things you have put your loyal customers through! You all have made this economy the way that it is due to you all's wickedness! You have made people lose there homes because of you guys. I use to live at 3011 6th ave N St.Pete, FL 33713 ever since 1996. You all threaten us and said "if we do not move, you would get the sherriff and will put us out"! How dirty. So we moved out! Now we had had 12 buyers on this house and you all turned it down! Why? Is there a valid reason? Because usually smart people will take something then nothing! If you can explain to me w/o thinking and pausing. Is this correct? Do me a favor and keep the house! I regret putting so much money in this house! And you know what! I am getting all that stuff out of my house! You all are nasty. How in the world does it take you guys 3 years to have a house that is not sold sitting up there vacant! And there are buyers who would love to live in that house. NOT one but twelve! Explain that to me. I would love to here this great excuse.

I keep getting calls from this 7025201124 number for over 2 months now. It's gotten a little crazy. Istarted with pressing 2 to stop them and that didn't work so I started pressing 1 and yelling at them. Today was the end!!!! After some resorcefulness I located the company which distributes this number along with all them other little dumb numbers that keep calling us.

The company is Digitcom Services at first I thought they were based in Las Vegas NA(they still could be) but they also have a office in LA also. I called 310-358-7000 (supposedly an LA number) and demanded to speak to a supervisor. Of course they wanted to know if I had an account and that good stuff. I told them I have a complaint and I didn't care if I spoke to the President, VP, or the Owner but I needed to speak to someone immediately. After a few minutes I was connected to a gentleman by the mame of James. To whom I explained that I was trying to locate who distributed the number 7025201124 at which after a hearing a few keyboard cliks I hear "that is one of customer clients".
After hearing this I ask him if he part or associated with the one in Las Vegas NA he tells me no not at all. Then I tell him my name and phone number and that the number button pushing is old and that he needed to see that the calls were stopped immediately or I would file charges and I would see that they went against their customer along with them. So they were to stop NOW! He said that it would be taken care of immediately. I told him thank you and hung up.

Needless to say I go down my list of numbers that have called and I come to 757-990-8981 so I call this number 702-284-5000 (supposedly a Las Vagas number also by sheer coincedence is Digitcom Services). I again go through my little speal requesting a supervisor or owner who have you. How am I connected with but none other than James again. Which brought on a lot of questions ie:
Me: aren't you the one I just spoke with?
James: yes I beleive so.
Me: I thought you said you were part of the Las Vegas Digitcom?
James: No I didn't say that Mama we aren't well we don't I mean we have servers that run out of Las Vegas but that's it.
Me: So you are associated with them do not lie to me sir.
James: I'm not mama I filed your complaint and the calls will stop in 2 days max.
Me: How do I know I can beleive you? You just lied to me right off the bat.
James: If the calls don't stop call me back and We will take care of it again.
Me: No if the calls don't stop I will file charges it's that simple.
James: But other than that if you get a supoena we will give you numbers and the information that goes with them.
So I hope this took care of it on my end.

So here is all the information I was able to come up with:

I recieved a call from Midpoint Resolutions 1st from a woman, regarding my 23 year old son. I gave her his number. He talked to her gave her permission to talk to me. I talked to her and it was in regards to an old bank account of my sons that we paid off over a year ago, prior to his starting college. I explained this and was given to the Dir. of Operations (what a laugh) Ryan Walsh. This was the most rude, arrogant person I've talked to in some time. I tried to explain and he was yelling at me telling me that there was no way it was paid, he knew in fact it couldn't have been paid or they couldn't have bought the debt. Keep in mind I told him I'd pay the reduced amount, but I'd like 2 days to research my records to make sure I wasn't double paying. No Way! Said he will be going after my son with every legal aspect available to him, and if I didn't settle up today his credit and such would be hit tomorrow. The minute he said "sold debt" I was no longer so patient. I told him to do what he needs and I'll do what I need to do. They supposedly bought this debt from US Bank. the numbers they gave me were 1-866-600-3011 xt. 148 (Ms. Rogers) and 716-827-7771 Ext. 104 (Ryan Walsh Dir. of Operations) Caller Id showed the above 716 number and the other time 716-558-5933. How do we get them to quit calling?
