Called my son's cell phone to offer a free $100 gift card. Just had to accept trial offer of company's product which was an "Auto Discount Card". (I believe the "auto" stood for "automatic" vs. "automotive"). Just had to pay $3.95 shipping and handling. At this point I said no thank-you because payment information would be required and caller was not going to get that from me. He stated he understood my culture's security consciousness and started on a pitch I'm sure was an attempt to convince me otherwise. Didn't catch it because I politely said thank-you and goodbye, then hung up. (BTW, he spoke with a heavy Indian accent which was difficult to understand).
