I get calls from this number a minimum of three times a day, every day, at all hours of the day and night for the past month. I know it is some company trying to sell something with BofA's blessing, someone it probably sold its customer list to; some other hustler almost pulled me in, even reading me back my address and phone info. I never answer because I know it's not legit but the calls never stop and messages are never left. Thank God this site confirmed its fraudulence for me.

I have received 13 calls, as of Feb 26, from Bank of America since 19 February from 3 different numbers, include this one. I do no business with BOA, not banking, loans, nor credit card.

I called their privacy number at 1-888-341-5000 and they told me they
would stop but that it would take up to 2-3 weeks to op-out. That tells me they are fully aware of this and are condoning this practice. When I answer there is no one on the line so they must be robo-calls. It truly is Bank of America!

Update: Another number you can call is 1-866-801-8623 but you will have to call for each number you have received calls from. I was told by a representative from BOA at this number it would take 12 weeks to op-out! Also it is a robo call with a prerecorded message when calling this number back. I've filled a complaint with the FCC at and am now filling a complaint form through my Attorney General Office.

Calls will NOT stop! I've picked up the phone and shouted "Stop calling this number!" twice today. I'm getting a couple of calls a day from 281-763-7529

These people say they are BOA, but they are not. I also get emails from them threatening to close my account because of inactivity. They ask for passwords, SSN, user names. Of course, I didn't give that information. I called BOA and they said that was fraudulent. These people had the audacity to call me at 4am!! Now, that alone says they're not professional. I just got off the phone with them to tell them to remove my name from the list. The rep stated she is indeed from BOA and when I told her I knew they were frauds, she politely said she would remove my name. I hope I do not get any calls from them again. Also, there was another time a spanish guy called me trying to sell me fraud insurance...he asked me for personal info too!

Second call from this number in two days. Caller ID says "Texas Call". I don't know anyone in Texas, so I haven't answered. Given that I've also received a lot of harassing calls from BOA lately, I'm not surprised to learn that this number is also associated with BOA.

This is NOT Bank of America! I called the actual company and they said I received a fraudulant call. The woman on the phone asked for very personal info and I said I was not giving that info out. She seemed to be quick to get off the phone with me when I told her I thought she was a fraud. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO!

Calls (about 34 in the last month) from B of A received from 312-878-5547, 281-763-7529, 888-665-9900, and 714-551-5579. I am on Do Not Call registry; I have never been a Bank of America customer. They keep calling from different numbers. I'll receive 10 to 12 call from one number, report it to Do Not Call and FTC and then get calls from another number, report it, etc. Amazing that this bank can receive $50 billion in government bailouts and then harass people in this manner. AARP exposed this marketing scam by B of A in their Sept/Oct bulletin. Several states have sued B of A and won, yet this continues. I do not answer; they hang up upon gettin the answering machine, so no opportunity to opt out.

I have just received the 9th call from this BK America number. When I say hello, no one responds, but I hear breathing. When I say, please do not call us, we are not interested in insurance, home loans, credit cards, they hang up and call again. I have now purchased from Qwest the ability to block the number. Sad that we have to "buy" the ability to stop these calls.

It's Bank of America calling -- AGAIN!! I want nothing to do with this scam bank. I've never used Bank of America and my number is on the Do Not Call. The jerks at Bank of America take millions of dolars from Obama's "Bail Out" and violate every law in the book. ENOUGH!!!
