Illegal Robo Call. ADT fake free home security system. Requires outrageous monthly monitoring fees with 2 year contract and several hidden fees.

It is odd that these nuisance calls hit my phone within 30 seconds of when I start to talk to a friend, or a friend has just hung up a call with me. This past week, I have gotten calls from 425-486-9048 and 281-760-4106. The calls were duly reported to whocalled.us and at least one other complaint site. There were no other postings from anyone else. -- There is a weird situation with the person who is running a collection agency from his house (right next door); he has the phone lines to harass anyone he chooses. Of course, this is only supposition. Yet, oh how I would love to be able to prove it.

At 800notes, two other people posted complaints about this number before this number hit my phone. There have been no additional calls or complaints posted since then. -- I have an obnoxious neighbor who runs a collection agency out of his house (right next door to mine), and no doubt he has the phone lines to harass anyone he pleases (as we know with other collection agencies that have been reported to this site and others). He uses this stunt of shunting bogus phone calls to my number whenever a certain friend calls. When that friend hangs up -- BAM! -- a bogus call hits my phone within 30 seconds afterwards. Oh, how I wish I could prove that what I suspect is going on is exactly what is going on.

ADT will install a free home security system for you. The catch is that you have to sign up and pay for a two-year monitoring program for the system. ADT puts print ads in coffee house newsletters, too.

I know of number of residential buildings where the ADT sign in front is about as meaningful as a doorstop.
