recorded female voice said to listen carefully to an important message for all seniors, I hung up. This call is the third scammer call I have had so far today, and some days there are 6 calls or even more. There needs to be something done about these scammers harassing us all day long.

I get this same spiel with a different recording that has a man's voice, only the caller ID number is 585-206-6033 listed in Buffalo, NY. They mention "senior alert systems," mention AARP, and suggest that they have been referred by your medical provider. Both recordings give the choice of pressing one number to speak to a representative or 5 to "tell your provider you have refused." Other victims suggest that a scammer will not actually remove you on request, and that you should talk to a rep and waste their time instead. See https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/robocall-scammers-who-lied-about-free-medical-alert-devices-weve-got-your-number.

I got a robo-call asking for me to confirm info in order to receive a senior alert system "already paid for." I was not given a choice to be removed from their call list. I am on the National Do-Not-Call Registry, so they should not have called in the first place. I called the Called ID number back, and a recording said that it was not a working number.
