This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). They further violate the TCPA by refusing to provide a phone number or physical address when asked. Their scam is to inform the victim that the victim's computer has been sending out repeated calls about problems and security violations, and they have called to fix those problems. This is clearly a scam. Your computer does not have your phone number to give out to telemarketing scams like this and unless you have contracted with an external monitoring service, your computer is not notifying someone else of problems and asking them to contact you. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information. Do not install anything on your computer for this scammer!
