got a text from this number on two former nextel phones numbers :" customer issue, eppi card frozen please call 301-760-7242: this is a scam! the first two text messages referred to the loaded card you get form H&R block for your tax return to be loaded on. We don't have one of those and I called H&R block and they have the info documented.

This was a text message on my cell with the text: "customer issue, eppi card frozen. please call at 607-330-4794". This has come in several times - to all of our phones. We do not have/use EppiCard.

It is absolutely a "phishing" scam, and we got the message from both 504-684-4499 & 201-935-7171. Here is more info:

This was a text message on my cell phone with the text reading "customer issue. eppi card frozen. please call at 973-692-4251."

Sounds like a phishing scam to me. They want you to think it's one of your credit cards or something and call with personal information.

Needless to say, I did not call the number.
