They Ignore state and national do not call lists, and ask for someone who doesnt live here.
They continue to call even though I told them that they have the wrong number. Whoever is buying stuff from telemarketers is the person to blame for making it rough on all of us who would like some phone privacy. If they never sell anything they will quit paying people to call and interrupt your life.

Got about 8 calls with hangup voicemails yesterday, 3 today. If I tried to answer I got loud beeps in my ear and disconnected. I finally heard a person when I answered today, who asked for a name I've never heard of (couldn't even begin to spell it) and then said the email address that gave them my number. Surprise, it's not my email address, I don't give out my phone number online. Hopefully the calls will stop now. The caller never identified herself.

Actually, I did go on their website. And what i found out was that one of my friends had been thoughtful enough to register me for a bunch of free stuff for my child for a whole year!!! I also found out that all you have to do is answer the call once and either find out who registered you and verify the info that was entered online... or tell them you are not interested. Pretty simple if you ask me. So if you they are calling you it isn't because they are telemarketers it's because someone out there thinks you deserve free stuff for your child/children. Oh, and to quote you ...'people who can't do anything with their lives other than be a telemarketer" maybe you should consider what kind of handicaps some people have before you run telemarketers in the ground. Everyone including yourself works to the best of their abilities. (I would hope anyway)

Get Real-

Just because you have worked for one of these annoying companies before does not mean that the rest of us should suck it up and be ok with having 5 phone calls a day from random numbers for absolutely no reason. There is no reason to call people ignorant because they have lives and don't have the time to answer pointless phone calls all day long from people who can't do anything with their lives other than be a telemarketer. This number has now called me 4 times today and I am busy at work and don't appreciate the repeat dialing every hour. I NEVER put my phone number on anything online and I'm pretty careful about it. Obviously if you are on this website, you have had the same problem so back so the site if you don't want to hear people communicating about who is calling them. That's what the site is for!

#1 they didn't 'spam' your email. They have lots of partner companies and if you people would read everything that you sign up for and watch to see what you are agreeing to you would know you are registered. You did not get called because of your email address.

#2 I have worked in an outbound center in the past and when you work on a dialer...it is the dialer that hangs up on you...not the caller.

#3 I have a close friend that signed up for babytobee and she is getting all kinds of free stuff monthly. Plus a bunch of other free stuff.

The only thing wrong here is that people are too ignorant to read the webpage when they are actually entering their information. She also said that they called her a few times in one day...with that said I do know that every company can set their dialers to call back in a certain amount of time if they don't reach anyone at the number that was called.

With that said how about you all take credit for where you are entering your information online.

These idiots spammed my email when I was looking for baby clothes for my niece. They have been calling me 4-5 times a day but they never leave me a message. I called them and the operator told me I had given them my phone number. Which is FALSE. I told the idiots they need to remove my name from all their calling lists and I opt out of anything dealing with them. I am on the Do not call list, so why are they calling me and how did they get my number?
